by fnovelpia[Episode 6] – Sister’s Scheme
“I think my mother has changed a little.”
“Yes?”
“Ah. I don’t mean it in a bad way. The past six months… have been a bit like that, right?”
The three sisters were gathered in Elise’s room, which was neither large nor small, chatting away. Sylvia was sitting on a chair next to Elise, and Lily was lying on Elise’s bed, taking up a corner.
Sylvia sat on the chair with her legs crossed and began to talk to Elise and Lily about her mother these days. Not in a bad way, but in a good way. For Sylvia and Lily, too, the change in their mother was good news.
Elise nodded slightly when she heard Sylvia’s story of ‘half a year’. The three sisters had no idea why their mother had changed so dramatically half a year ago.
I could only guess that she was sad because she had remarried twice and her husbands had died twice in a row, or that something had happened with her deceased stepfather. I didn’t know the exact reason.
In particular, since her mother changed, she had been treating Elise so cruelly that it seemed even more strange, knowing that her mother had been kind to Elise before.
“Isn’t it great that Mom is back to how she used to be? Rather, I’m grateful that she’s back to how she used to be? The omelet you made for me in the morning was delicious too…”
Lily asked, looking at Sylvia while covering herself with Elise’s blanket. Sylvia seemed to want to say something about the wrinkles in her dress, but Lily wouldn’t listen, so she just glared.
“But…”
Sylvia frowned and shut her mouth. She had already experienced a dramatic change once, and it was scary to see her mother’s personality change so suddenly. It wouldn’t be strange if she turned into her cruel mother again at any moment.
“Sister, you’re too deep-thinking, that’s the problem. Don’t you think that you feel sorry for us after your mother got sick this time?”
“The problem is that you are too shallow. Right?”
“This is too much..!”
Lily, with a shocked expression on her face, covered herself with the blanket and pretended to cry. Sylvia watched her and thought that what Lily said also made sense.
Sylvia remembered her mother calling her name as she gasped for breath when she was sick. She would mutter not only her own name, but also Lily’s and Elise’s, as she wandered between life and death.
‘I never want to see that sight again.’
When Trisha was sick, it was Sylvia who suffered the most. If, just in case, their mother died, Sylvia would be the only one who could lead her younger siblings who were not yet adults.
I thought I would do anything for my younger siblings, but when I thought about my mother possibly dying, my mind went blank like a blank sheet of paper.
And Sylvia realized that there was nothing she could do. She was so helpless in this situation. Not only could she not protect her mother, but she had no idea how to take responsibility for her younger siblings and how to live.
Sylvia shook her head to dispel the ominous thoughts and looked at Elise, who was sitting on the bed. As Elise had suffered the most during the past six months, she felt a little relieved as her older sister.
“But I’m glad. Elise returned to being the mother she loved the most.”
“……”
“..? Elise?”
Sylvia clearly expected Elise to agree if she said that, but Elise frowned slightly and showed her discomfort. And then, she remembered meeting her mother before entering this room.
Sylvia, who watched her mother sigh and leave Elise’s room, could tell that something had happened between the two.
Even though my mother had been wronging Elise for half a year… I thought they would reconcile quickly because Elise really followed her mother well. However, it seemed that the emotional rift between her mother and Elise was deeper than expected.
“Elise. Would you like me to make time to talk to your mother?”
“…No, it’s okay.”
Sylvia held Elise’s hands tightly with both of hers and looked into her eyes. Feeling Elise’s hands trembling in her hands, Sylvia realized that Elise’s wounds were much more serious than she had thought.
How can the emotional rift between Elise and her mother be bridged? At that moment, Lily jumped out of the blanket that covered her head and sniffed the outside air. Then, she put her nose to the blanket and sniffed, and looked at Elise sitting next to her.
“Elise, did you sweat a lot today?”
“Oh, now that you mention it, that’s right. Since I have a fever…”
“Oh? That’s why the blanket smells sour.”
“Huh?!”
Elise’s face turned red and she snatched the blanket from Lily and wrapped it around herself. Lily thought that she was just embarrassed by the smell of her sweat, but Elise squirmed in embarrassment as she saw Lily smelling her own love juice.
‘Let’s not say it’s the blanket we wore yesterday…’
Elise, who thought she had masturbated to the point where the blanket smelled, covered her face with the blanket in embarrassment. She blushed even more when she felt the slight sour smell. Sylvia looked at Lily and sighed.
“Lily. You have no delicacy.”
“I was just saying that my blanket and I smell different…but this could be Elise’s scent, right? They say everyone smells different.”
Elise flinched again at Lily’s words, “It smells good.” Elise turned her head to look at Lily, wondering, “Does Lily really not know what this smell is? Has she never masturbated before?” Lily looked at her with an innocent expression, as if she really didn’t know.
Elise felt a strange sense of guilt as if she had defiled her innocent sister. Lily was about to sniff the blanket again when Sylvia stopped her.
“Lily. Stop it. Elise, don’t be so embarrassed. It can’t be helped that you smell when you sweat, right?”
“Yes, yes…”
If it was just the smell of sweat, she wouldn’t be so embarrassed. Elise hugged the blanket tightly in a strange sense of elation. Then, from the damp blanket, the faint, sour and pungent smell of her own love juice tickled her nose.
Seeing that it was coming from the blanket like this, I thought that maybe my body that was covered with the blanket had also smelled. Elise put her nose to her forearm to sniff just in case, but she couldn’t tell.
Lily, who had been rolling around beside her, saw Elise being bothered by the sour smell, and as if something came to mind, she smiled playfully and poked Elise’s arm with her finger.
“Would you like me to empty the bathroom tonight?”
“Bathroom?”
“Yeah. I’m in charge of preparing the bathroom today. I’ll clean it later when the time comes.”
Lily said that and winked at Sylvia. Elise was too busy thinking to see, but Sylvia noticed Lily’s wink and realized what Lily was thinking. Then, as if to quickly respond, Lily kept winking at Sylvia.
Sylvia also hesitated for a moment, but decided to go along with Lily’s plan. Since they were blood-related sisters, there were things they could communicate without saying a word. Of course, if they used this method, their mother and Elise could talk to each other alone. However…
Blink- Blink- Blink- Blink Blink Blink.
Sylvia sighed at Lily’s repeated winks that seemed to urge her on.
“…I’ll call you when the bathroom is empty. You’ll sweat a lot, so you’d better wash up.”
“Then I will do that…”
As if that was enough, Sylvia looked at Lily and blinked one eye. Lily looked at Sylvia and snorted, “Hmm,” as if she was satisfied.

Sylvia, who had come out of Elise’s room, asked Lily, who was walking beside her.
“What are you thinking?”
“Don’t you remember when you were little? Taking a bath with your mom.”
Sylvia looked at Lily as if she was really dumbfounded. That ‘childhood’ period was a time she couldn’t even remember anymore. Since then, she had never taken a bath with her mother or anything like that.
“Don’t you remember why we took a bath together back then? It was because Mom accidentally broke your sister’s doll, right?”
“Was it?”
Sylvia tilted her head, unable to remember. Even if that were the case, the situation was completely different now. Elise was not five years old, her mother had not broken her doll, and she was not in a state of such shallow emotions.
“At that time, my sister was also upset with her mother like Elise and didn’t know what to do, but we took a bath together and she felt better, right? We talked about it together… Do you really not remember?”
“…I don’t remember. Really.”
A vague memory came to mind, but Sylvia pretended not to know. Thinking about it, she was the one who had cried and said, “If you don’t bathe with me, Mommy will hate you!” so she decided to pretend not to know about it.
“You need to make a place for the two of you to talk, right? But even if you make it, won’t it be uncomfortable? Then why not make a place where you can’t avoid it? Does Elise take a bath too?”
Sylvia looked at Lily, who was boasting about herself, saying, “Am I a genius?!” as if she was dumbfounded. And then, she began to regret listening to Lily’s words too easily.

Elise took out her pajamas from the drawer and prepared them, then headed to the bathroom. After her sisters left the room, she opened the window to ventilate the room, and even lit a scented candle to get rid of any remaining smells.
‘It won’t smell anymore…’
I held the pajamas I was wearing up to my nose and sniffed, but there was no unpleasant smell. It wasn’t sweat or any body odor, but the faint daisy scent of incense tickled my nose.
Elise opened the bathroom door right in front of her and headed to the changing room. As it was a large mansion, the bathroom was also large. The bathtub was big enough to fit three people.
In addition, there was a structure where you could see the night sky through the window on the ceiling in the bathroom. However, since there were fewer people to manage it and it was too much for Elise to manage alone, it was not used often.
Elise took off her slightly scented pajamas. She even took off her underwear, leaving her completely naked. She quickly approached the bathroom door, thinking that she wanted to use the large bathtub for the first time in a long time, but Elise instinctively couldn’t help but stop in her tracks.
The heat seeping out through the slightly open door. And the sound stimulating the auditory senses.
Swish!
The sound of someone splashing water on their body could be heard from inside the bathroom. Elise recalled what Sylvia had said before she entered the bathroom. She had clearly heard, “There’s no one here, so take your time and enjoy yourself.” However, contrary to what Sylvia had said, there was someone in the bathroom.
Before entering the bathroom, Elise had met her two older sisters. Sylvia and Lily had just washed up, their hair still wet. There was only one person she hadn’t seen on her way into the bathroom. Her mother.
Elise held her breath and cautiously approached the open door and peered in. It wasn’t that she was looking to see, it was more like a physiological phenomenon that she couldn’t help but look. She didn’t know who was inside. It was just a procedure to check.
Looking closely through the crack in the door, I could see at a glance the naked body of a woman moving gracefully inside the crack. A woman lifting her head while taking a half-bath in the bathtub and letting out a small sigh.
White moonlight was pouring down from the window in the ceiling. A naked woman was half-immersed in the bathtub, her body bathed in the soft, shattering moonlight that was falling on her shoulders, looking up at the ceiling.
Wet long hair, skin that was already white but seemed to glow with the addition of white steam, body curves that became apparent when clothes were taken off…
My mother was sitting on the bathtub, covering her chest with one arm. I could see her but I couldn’t, and that made me even crazier. As I was staring at my mother, my weight pushed against the gap that had been slightly open, and the bathtub door made a loud noise.
Squeak-
“Ah…”
“…Elise?”
