EP.9.5 Exchange Meeting-1
by Shini
Networking Event – 1
“Hoo… I’ve finally found my orbit.”
Something that had been grating on her nerves for a while was finally coming to an end.
Well, not really an end. However, Maria had headed to the Order, and soon many things would be destroyed by her greatsword.
The woman who had been observing the dimension stretched.
She settled her hips into a comfortable armchair that had appeared sometime ago.
“Tired.”
Solari looked up at the massive cluster of stars flowing in the sky.
It was a kind of decoration made solely to her taste.
Solari, who had been staring blankly at the ceiling, burst into a hollow laugh as if something was funny.
“Looking at things like this, I don’t know the difference between mortals and me. Except for not aging… I don’t see much difference.”
She chuckled quietly, then muttered as if she herself was dumbfounded.
She recalled her death.
A mortal’s memory that was now so faint that she had to search for a very long time.
For the glory of the nation, she had taken up the flag and died on the battlefield.
Gloriously.
[Solari, possessor of a noble soul. From now on, you will become a Dimension Management God.]
She recalled when she had entered the Nurturing Center.
[Dimension Management Gods are not gods.]
How contradictory that was, she had thought at first.
But as time passed and she carried out her duties as a Dimension Management God, she gradually realized what those words meant.
The being called ‘god’ was truly a being of a different level.
A Dimension Management God was merely an existence that imitated a very small part of the power of ‘god’.
A noble soul goes through the Nurturing Center and becomes a 4th Class Dimension Management God.
The 4th Class Dimension Management God performs their duties and raises their class.
That’s how they become 3rd Class, 2nd Class, and 1st Class as well.
The limit of the class that a mortal’s noble soul can reach is the 1st Class Dimension Management God.
And they are called Dimension Management Gods.
Not gods.
Solari had never met a god.
It was difficult to deal with a 3rd Class Dimension Management God, so how much would she tremble if she met a god…
Solari shook her head.
“Kang In-ho.”
She recited the name of the noble soul she had met.
“Looking at the technique, it doesn’t seem to matter what class the dimension is… Then that means he can cross over to 2nd Class or 1st Class dimensions.”
Solari stretched her arm towards the ceiling.
When she clenched her fist at the flowing star cluster, the movement of the stars stopped.
“Then maybe, is a Unique Dimension possible?”
She muttered in a voice mixed with doubt and worry.
The concern that had appeared on Solari’s face quickly disappeared like the snow in March.
“A Unique Dimension is impossible. It’s impossible for a mere Dimension Management God to enter a dimension directly managed by ‘god’ with a technique created by a Dimension Management God.”
Of course, that would be the case.
Solari thought.
Several days passed, and Solari received a visitor.
Someone had attempted Dimension Entry into her space, and Solari, after confirming the visitor’s identity, opened the door to the dimension.
As a blue rift formed, two women entered her space.
“Hi~ Solari. Still the same boring face.”
A woman with a short cut waved her hand cheerfully as she entered.
“Runin. It’s been a while.”
Solari also got up from her seat and greeted her colleague.
“Let’s see, I think it’s been about 50 years. Contact me more often. What’s keeping you so busy?”
Runin smiled broadly and patted Solari’s shoulder.
“I’ve been a little busy.”
As Solari smiled awkwardly, Runin looked around the spacious area.
“Ugh… Nothing’s changed here. At least you put something on the ceiling.”
“Yes. As Runin said, it was too desolate. I brought in a star cluster to watch while resting.”
“Yeah, decorate it a little.”
She laughed heartily and now patted her back.
Just as her body was shaking from Runin’s spicy hands, Solari’s gaze caught the figure of the companion who had come with Runin.
“But who is that….”
As soon as Solari’s words ended, the woman with wavy brown hair straightened her body and said.
“Ah, hello! Senior! I’m Empen, a 4th Class Dimension Management God!”
It was the shout of a rookie who was firmly disciplined.
“Ah, she just graduated from the Nurturing Center. She’s going to be in our area.”
“Ah… Nice to meet you. I’m Solari, also a 4th Class Dimension Management God.”
Solari smiled and extended her hand.
“Ye… Yes! It’s an honor to meet you!”
Empen maintained a motionless posture with her gaze fixed at a 45-degree angle in front, to the point where the extended hand was embarrassing.
Solari smiled awkwardly and withdrew her hand.
“Hey, just make a good impression on her. She’ll soon be a 3rd Class Dimension Management God.”
Runin chuckled as she put her arm around Empen’s shoulder.
“Stop with the useless talk. By the way, what’s going on? It doesn’t seem like you’re just here to introduce Empen.”
Solari frowned at the blatant praise.
“The Exchange Meeting is coming up soon, so I came to ask if you’re going to attend, and also to see your face.”
Runin looked at Solari’s face while pulling on Empen’s cheeks.
Exchange Meeting.
It was an event where Dimension Management Gods in the same area gathered to socialize.
“Who’s hosting this Exchange Meeting? Honestly, last time….”
Solari recalled the last Exchange Meeting and replied. She never wanted to go to the last Exchange Meeting, which was hosted by a 3rd Class Dimension Management God.
“Ah, don’t worry about that. Nibir Senior said he’s going to host it himself this time.”
Runin boasted, wiggling her index finger.
“If it’s Nibir Senior… I guess most Dimension Management Gods will attend.”
Solari put her hand on her chin and thought about something.
“Attend… you’re going to attend, right? Hey, if she doesn’t attend, you’re going to get your ass kicked?”
“I-I’m sorry!”
Runin harassed Empen while watching Solari’s reaction.
“I’ll attend.”
Solari said to Runin, who was stretching Empen’s cheeks again.
“As it happens, I also have something to see Nibir Senior about.”
Solari had a look on her face as if she had finished calculating something.
