Crossroads-2
It’s already been two weeks since she started broadcasting under the name ‘Lonely Trainer.’ The broadcast is going smoothly.
Actually, it’s a bit embarrassing to use the expression ‘going smoothly.’
Because she doesn’t really do anything special on the broadcast.
She just sets up the camera in the morning and evening, exercises, promotes before turning off the broadcast, and that’s it.
Since the day before yesterday, she’s even included cleaning the center in the broadcast, because a viewer generously donated 100,000 won, which boosted Garam’s motivation.
She usually earns 20,000 to 30,000 won, so earning 100,000 won naturally makes her more motivated…
-If I keep broadcasting steadily like this, I think I can pay off all my debts!
Garam, who is usually so negative, is saying such nonsense, so you can imagine how uplifted she feels.
People who flocked in thinking she was a new Broadcasting Jockeys have left.
The viewers who come to her broadcast now are mostly people who are either in the fitness industry or have a hobby of exercising. Those are her regular viewers.
The former are impressed by her unbelievable physique and burn with enthusiasm. The latter are impressed by her athletic ability and enjoy the eye candy.
In a way, it feels like she’s opened an agora for gym rats.
Gym rats have heated discussions about the exercises she does, and some office workers even follow her workout schedule.
And then there are the occasional donations.
It feels good.
I haven’t properly explained it to her yet, but I’m editing her broadcasts and running a YouTube channel as well.
I haven’t met the monetization requirements yet, so there’s no income, but it seems like it’s only a matter of time.
Oh, God of algorithms, please help us.
I drive the car while thinking that.
-Tring tring
“Hello.”
[Ah, yes, Boss. Are you on your way?]
I’m going to the East Sea now.
“Yeah. I’m almost there. Is there anything wrong?”
[No, nothing much. Same as usual. I’m just going to check the buildings this time to see if there’s any maintenance needed.]
“Take it easy. It’ll be tough to finish it all in one day.”
[Yes, I’ll take my time and check.]
I end the call with Ho-cheol and look ahead again.
I speed down the wide-open highway. As I increase the speed, a loud noise comes from the engine, and I shoot forward.
The reason I suddenly decided to go to the East Sea is because of my physical condition.
A week after I increased the intensity of my workouts to break through a plateau, I woke up with a nosebleed in the morning.
I had experienced dizziness a few times, but it was the first time I had a nosebleed and felt so dizzy, so I visited the hospital.
I went to the hospital that Ho-cheol had booked for me, and the doctor in charge – whom I was meeting for the first time, at least from my perspective – greeted me warmly.
-Oh, you’ve lost a lot of weight.
The doctor said, looking at the results of the preliminary examination.
–
I started exercising recently.
–
That’s good. Having that will is the first step.
–
Thank you. But can you tell me what the reason is?
I was a little scared because I had never been in this condition before, so I asked, and the doctor calmly said.
–
Well, you know your physical condition well since I told you last time…
–
It seems like you’ve been overworking your body lately.
–
Ah… yes, a little…
Working out was one thing, but I think not getting enough sleep because of managing the YouTube channel was a big factor.
-Even though you’ve lost weight, you still need to be careful with your body. I told you last time, right? It’s in a state where it could burst at any time.
So that’s how it was.
-It’s good that you’re working out hard, but try to refrain from sudden increases in blood pressure or heart rate.
I received that advice, got a prescription for blood pressure medication and some other unknown pills, and left.
-Oh, and take this opportunity to rest. Go somewhere quiet. Look at the scenery.
You have plenty of time anyway.
That’s why I’m going to the East Sea.
When I told Ho-cheol that I was going on a long vacation, he booked me a hotel with an ocean view for a week.
Of course, with my own money.
Anyway, I got the chance to rest and sort out my thoughts for the first time since I possessed this body.
The purpose is to rest my body as the doctor advised, but to be exact, I wanted to give my soul some time to rest.
Constantly moving through dimensions, possessing other lives, and following the footsteps of those lives is the situation I have to walk forward in now.
Because of this situation that I can’t share with anyone, I thought I needed some time alone.
So, a vacation.
I wanted to get time without being disturbed by anyone.
Fortunately, Garam’s broadcast was running smoothly without any issues, so it was the right time.
After checking in, I drank water on the terrace and looked outside.
The view of the East Sea reflected in the dazzling afternoon sun was visible in the distance.
Unlike the city’s forest of buildings, the wide-open scenery was beautiful.
I think it would be really beautiful to see at sunset.
Of course, it wouldn’t be as good as the sunset in the mountains I saw with Master.
I didn’t plan to go anywhere today, so I just unpacked and sat in a chair to read a book.
The cool breeze made my heart feel more relaxed.
-Tring tring
The phone rang. It was Garam.
“Hello.”
[Yes, Boss. Did you arrive safely?]
“Yes, I unpacked and I’m resting inside.”
[Yes, please manage your diet well even when you’re away. Only eat delicious things once a day.]
“Okay. There’s a place to exercise here too. I’ll do cardio every day.”
[Yes, let’s do an InBody check again when you get back.]
This woman doesn’t miss a thing.
“Okay. Garam, have a good evening broadcast later. Is everything okay?”
[Yes!… Oh, right! We had a few new members sign up today.]
“Oh. That’s good.”
[Yes, I feel like things are going well.]
We talked about trivial things and then hung up.
I turned my attention back to the book, but the phone rang again.
“Did she forget something?”
Why call when you could just text? With that thought, I answered the phone, and a different voice was heard.
[…You still answer?]
It was Hana.
I feel like my peaceful mind is becoming complicated again.
“What’s wrong? We agreed not to bother each other anymore.”
[Oppa… can you help me just once?]
Her desperate voice comes from over there to here.
“Help you with what?”
[My ranking has dropped a lot this time. And my settlement wasn’t good either.]
“So?”
[Oppa, you know I have debts from the shopping mall. And car insurance and stuff…]
Oppa used to pay for it.
It seemed like she swallowed those words.
A fact I learned while ending my relationship with Hana.
The previous me was the biggest pushover.
Since I usually paid, those expenses that she should have paid naturally disappeared from her mind.
That’s why I couldn’t make those calculations when we broke up.
Isn’t it funny? Economically, I’m the one in charge, but why was Hana the one in charge?
Anyway, her income decreased, and the amount she had to pay became a reality, so she chose to put aside her pride and call me.
“Why should I pay for it?”
[Th, that’s…]
“If you don’t have money, sell the car. The shopping mall? You should close it if it doesn’t work out.”
[Oppa… don’t talk so coldly.]
Well, I’m too angry that my vacation time is being disturbed.
“Don’t call me. I told you last time, right? I’m really going to block you this time.”
[Oppa, you have another woman, don’t you?]
Her voice suddenly changes from a pleading tone to a calm one.
“What?”
[You have another Broadcasting Jockeys, don’t you?]
“Lonely Trainer. That’s the broadcast you’ve been watching lately, isn’t it?”
My heart sank for a moment.
