EP.2 Office Tyrant-1

The Tyrant of the Office – 1
Entrusting work to Kang In-ho was a publicly known tip for thriving in the company.
Inho was the type of person who felt rewarded by helping others.
To put it nicely, he was a kind person. To put it harshly, you could say he had a pushover personality.
He was, along with the team leader, Mina, one of the longest-tenured members of the organization.
And the fact that he was capable of multi-tasking due to his long experience with handling all the work alone meant that there was no one in the office who was better at their job.
So much so that one of the company life hacks circulating in the office was, “If you ask Kang In-ho, he’ll solve almost anything.”
At first, the employees were hesitant to ask for favors, but as time went on, they began to take his help for granted.
They could reduce their workload and see his handsome face. It was like killing two birds with one stone for them.
Thanks to this, their work was always easy, and Inho, who was always short on time, ended up staying at the company longer.
Not many people cared about this absurd phenomenon.
Neither the employees who passed the work on to him nor he who received the work were bothered by it.
As long as the company’s work was running smoothly enough.
But there was one person who cared, and that was the team leader, Lee Mina.
She didn’t like the employees who approached him, whether it was for work or personal reasons.
The former was because she was disgusted by the laziness of the employees who took advantage of him, and the latter was because she thought it was presumptuous of them to dare to steal her sanctuary.
However, she was a clever person. She knew how to see the big picture.
He wasn’t interested in the women in the office. He always kept a proper distance when talking to them and didn’t pay more attention than necessary.
So Mina could afford to be relaxed.
Rather, the more work he received, the more time he would spend with her.
She thought of it as a strategy of giving up flesh to gain bone.
But that was only until last week.
If he was dissatisfied with the company and decided to leave, she was determined to eliminate the cause.
That’s why she started normalizing the work.
It was to punish those damned bitches who were leeching off him like vermin.
She would openly humiliate them and make them experience the hardship he had gone through.
She vowed and vowed again.
To her, a remark that seemed to blame Inho was like pouring oil on a fire and running into it with straw on her back.
Youngji, who had subtly blamed Inho, met Mina’s turbid eyes.
Her eyes were as dark as an abyss, so deep that their end could not be seen.
Gulp.
She swallowed her saliva without realizing it.
“Don’t… ever say that again.”
Mina, who had come closer, said to her.
“Y-Yes!”
Mina left the trembling Youngji and looked around.
Everyone was staring at their monitors, working hard.
‘Yes, it should have been like this from the beginning.’
“I’ll say it now while I have the chance. Those of you who aren’t worth your salaries, I’m going to work you so hard that you might as well quit the company. Do what you have to do.”
It was the moment when a tyrant was born in the office.
