The Hateful 6 -4

    The Hateful 6 -4

How many times since opening his eyes had his face been so close to the ground?

The rough texture of the soil was enough to make Alpha lose his reason.

“You seem to enjoy prostrating or lying down, so how about you just stay like that?”

The opponent’s roundabout way of telling him not to get up only added fuel to the fire.

Spitting out the dirt that had gotten into his mouth, Alpha raised his massive body.

His eyes, filled with Killing intent, turned towards the direction from which the voice had come.

“You don’t seem to be able to see… so your sixth sense must be quite good?”

It was a compliment, but the tone clearly looked down on him. Alpha threw a punch as his instincts dictated.

Naturally, it only tore through the air, and the meaningless gust of wind snapped several distant trees.

    “Intelligence is lacking…”

    “You incomplete being!”

The tone that seemed to pity and evaluate him. Alpha screamed and began to emit light blasts in all directions.

If he couldn’t pinpoint the opponent’s location, he could just launch an attack with no blind spots.

“It seems to me that you are the incomplete one.”

But the opponent simply answered with a snap of their fingers.

The ground shattered, and a giant tree trunk began to race towards the sky.

Its endlessly growing pillar began to cast a shadow over Alpha’s face.

The giant tree blocked most of the light blasts, cutting off Alpha’s aim.

    “!!!”

Branches sprouting from the giant tree lunged like spears, aiming for his body.

He twisted and turned, dodging the barrage of attacks.

A drop of blood splattered from the skin on his arm, grazed by a branch he barely avoided.

A stinging sensation ran through him. But Alpha was confused.

Was this an illusion, or was it real?

While Alpha was being tossed around by the falling branches, the giant tree slowly began to tilt.

Soon, the giant tree, its roots lifted from the ground, began to fall towards Alpha.

The tilting and falling body of the tree forced him to make a choice.

    ‘That is an illusion.’

    He trusted his instincts.

Pretend to react to the tree and attack the opponent’s real body.

Having finished his calculations, Alpha leaped towards where the opponent was likely to be.

Thud, with a dull sound, Alpha was slammed into the ground as soon as he leaped.

“The tree was real. It just came from a different direction.”

    “It should have been fake.”

Alpha muttered, his brain reeling from the impact.

“The most perfect lie is one that contains some truth.”

    “Such a paltry attack…”

“If you’re so disoriented by such a paltry attack, it seems a bit much to call you a ‘perfect’ mortal?”

    “Incomplete being…”

“How can you say such rude things? My husband and I are possessors of noble souls. We may be incomplete, but we are not lower than you.”

Chunhyang frowned, then showed a bright smile again.

It was the composure of a strong person who understood their opponent.

“Well, I understand. If you exist alone in this world, you can mistake yourself for being ‘complete.’ In my world, we call it a ‘frog in a well.'”

“Still, you’re amazing. I never thought there would be someone who could resist my Perfect Hypnosis like this.”

Chunhyang clasped her hands together, genuinely impressed.

With a snap of her fingers, tree roots wrapped around Alpha’s entire body like snakes.

The tree roots, covering his wrists, ankles, and every joint, firmly fixed him to the ground.

The sight of a tiny woman subduing a giant creature was quite bizarre.

Alpha growled as he felt his neck being constricted.

Chunhyang looked down at Alpha with the eyes of a tamer training a beast.

“But I didn’t come here to admire you, so I’ll end this now.”

As Chunhyang reached out her hand, the tree trunks twisted together, taking the form of a sword.

It was the same one she had drawn against Lee Mina before.

With light steps, Chunhyang approached Alpha.

As the being who had humiliated her came closer, Alpha twisted his body, but the tree trunks that bound him only tightened further.

Chunhyang’s white hand, holding the wooden sword, moved forward.

Just as the sharply honed plant bark was about to touch Alpha’s body, Alpha screamed and inflated his body.

    “I’ll kill you!!!”

Muscles rippled and bulged, increasing his size.

The roots tore apart, releasing Alpha.

Alpha lunged forward and swung his hand, feeling something caught in his grasp.

Kuh, with a low groan, Alpha’s hidden eyes opened.

    “Got you.”

Alpha said, bringing his fist up to his face.

    “…Not bad.”

Chunhyang, caught in Alpha’s hand, wore a troubled expression for the first time.

    “Crush…”

He felt like he could crush her bones with a little force, but he couldn’t bring himself to squeeze his hand.

What he held in his hand was the figure of a slender woman, but he felt like he was holding a venomous snake.

“Why are you hesitating? You have a thoughtful look on your face?”

Alpha snapped out of it at Chunhyang’s mocking words, but it was already too late.

His brief hesitation in dealing with Chunhyang had allowed someone to intervene.

    “Vega”

A noble yet heavy energy was felt from behind.

    “Deneb”

The gathering of a clear yet mysterious energy was heard.

    “Altair”

The beautiful jewel-like light that would adorn the sky was seen flickering.

    A low, chanting voice echoed.

“Oh, brilliant summer triangle, purify the evil energy!”

Startled, he turned his head, and the Magical Girl’s ultimate attack was launched.

    “It’s magic, so no dodging!!!”

The starlight-filled beam struck Alpha’s head directly.

The starlight that pierced Alpha’s head flew far away and fell into a forest somewhere, causing a massive explosion.

Soon, the shockwave created by the explosion engulfed the mortals existing in the Unique Dimension.

“I can breathe a sigh of relief.”

Chunhyang muttered, watching the attack launched by the young girl.

Like a giant tree falling, Alpha’s body fell backward, his hand opened, and Chunhyang lightly stepped onto the ground.
