The Hateful 6 -3

    The Hateful 6 -3

Flares were embroidered in the sky.

Flowers of all colors bloomed in the heavens. Had a romantic soul witnessed it, they would have lamented the daytime setting.

Alpha’s attacks filled the sky without a gap. The shockwaves from the exploding flares were enough to alter Isis’s flight path.

Twisting and turning to avoid direct hits, Isis was pushed by the shockwave of a flare detonating above her, placing her in danger of being struck by an attack surging from below.

    “Evasive maneuver.”

Just before colliding with the flare, Isis folded her wings, minimizing air resistance, and plummeted towards the ground like a kite snatching its prey.

Weaving through the barrage of flares, Isis soon met the earth.

Moments before impact, she spread her folded wings again.

    “Ascend.”

High-temperature energy erupted from the gaps of her wings, which opened up and down like scissors.

Scorching the grass on the ground, Isis soared upwards once more.

Isis’s near-circus-like acrobatics gradually closed the distance between her and Alpha.

Judging that flares couldn’t inflict damage on Isis, Alpha prepared for her charge.

Having escaped the net of flares, Isis spread her wings horizontally and darted forward.

The muscles in Alpha’s back rippled grotesquely.

Isis’s visual sensors detected Alpha’s right hand, catching its faster-than-calculated approach.

    “Attack detected…?”

Before Alpha’s fist could touch Isis’s sharp nose, a small clod of earth rose from beneath Alpha’s feet.

    “!!!”

Tilting ever so slightly, Alpha’s fist grazed Isis’s ear.

Offering a small piece of flesh as a sacrifice, Isis bypassed Alpha’s arm and plunged into his chest, extending her right hand.

In place of a hand, there was a drill.

With a squelch, piercing through the resistance of flesh, her right hand buried itself in Alpha’s chest.

Alpha let out a short groan and grabbed Isis’s penetrating arm.

As he tried to snap the slender limb, Isis’s gray eyes glowed blue.

    “Shock.”

A crackling sound filled the air, and a stinging pain coursed through his body.

The mystery that made his body tingle caused Alpha to bend over, swinging his remaining hand towards Isis’s head.

Avoiding the heavy arm with a somersault, she fixed Alpha in her sights with an inverted view.

The hand that had been a drill had already transformed into a long-barreled gun, and a sinister red light began to gather at the muzzle.

    “Carbon bond disintegration ray.”

The dark red beam struck Alpha’s knee directly, blasting it away below the joint.

Alpha planted his hand on the ground.

    “……”

Having completed a round of combat, Isis watched Alpha rapidly regenerate his body, analyzing the situation.

The small clod of earth that had risen beneath the severed area.

The small variable that had allowed her to avoid Alpha’s attack.

    Isis turned around.

“Judging by your reckless charge without assessing your opponent, you lack caution.”

    Chunhyang slowly walked towards her.

    “Friendly unit D. Mental illness….”

As Isis muttered, Chunhyang’s fair brow furrowed slightly.

“I’d like to tear that mouth. Calling your savior mentally ill.”

Isis realized where the small clod of earth had come from at Chunhyang’s words.

“By the way, I think you should evade?”

At Chunhyang’s gesture, Isis looked forward again.

The motion detection sensor picked up something.

Alpha’s massive body was charging right in front of her, and having calculated that evasion was impossible, Isis chose to minimize the impact by raising a shield.

With a dull thud, Isis’s body flew through the air.

“Was the pain receptor installed for nothing?”

Isis muttered as she quickly got up, tracing an arc through the air.

She clutched her throbbing side and muttered.

Even though she had blasted off his knee, Alpha had already regenerated his body and was glaring at Isis.

One might have been surprised by the rapid recovery, but Isis was calm.

    Everything was according to plan.

This wasn’t her first fight against a creature that regenerated even when cut, broken, or burned.

Isis briefly glanced at Lee Mina, who was lying prone and twitching on the ground.

“I appreciate you stepping forward for a third party, but as I said, this is my job as his wife.”

Passing Isis, who was recovering from the impact of Alpha’s attack, Chunhyang approached Alpha.

Chunhyang, dressed in neat attire, faced the enraged Alpha.

Alpha spoke to Chunhyang as she approached within ten steps.

The fact that the five mortals before him didn’t rush at him all at once irritated him.

Daring to be so relaxed in the face of the most perfect mortal?

Alpha’s well-founded arrogance turned into rage, reaching his brain.

“Merely the master of plants dares to call himself the most perfect mortal….”

Chunhyang raised her hand, cutting off Alpha’s words.

“First, I apologize for entering your dimension without permission.”

    “…….”

Alpha’s eyes narrowed at the polite apology.

“My husband did not come to your world intentionally. An evil curse on my husband’s body caused him to enter this perfect world.”

I believe you are aware of this.

    Chunhyang added.

“Clearly, my husband and my presence are disrupting the balance of this world. I fully understand that you consider this a problem.”

Chunhyang’s words flowed like a clear stream.

“I know how to cross dimensions. If you would allow it, my husband and I will leave this world, so please grant us permission.”

You may do as you please with the other women.

    Chunhyang said.

“Ha, you manipulate with your glib tongue. Do you think it’s possible to escape the Unique Dimension? The moment you set foot here, causality began to deviate. The cause must be eliminated to correct the deviated causality.”

Alpha adopted a fighting stance again, as if rejecting Chunhyang’s suggestion.

Like a loaded bullet, Alpha exuded Killing intent, ready to spring at any moment.

“Is that so? That is truly regrettable.”

Chunhyang wore a genuinely regretful expression.

    “However….”

    Chunhyang smiled.

    “Where are you looking?”

Alpha’s eyes widened as he understood Chunhyang’s words.

And then, he slammed his head into the ground, sticking to the earth like a crushed frog.
