“Hello?”
An uninvited guest had arrived. Since it was an unwanted guest, it was right to call them that.
Kang In-ho thought.
Actually, the word ‘arrived’ felt a little awkward in this situation.
It was because they had suddenly appeared in the middle of this vast universe, where he was the only one he could talk to.
The lonely space filled with regular mechanical sounds and the vibration of gas had turned into an uncomfortable space with an unidentified being.
The beautiful being smiled at Kang In-ho, who was staring intently at them, and Kang In-ho wondered if he was going crazy.
“It can’t be a person… If it were an android, it would be related to Isis, but there’s no sign of that either…”
Only after replaying the CCTV footage of the cockpit did Kang In-ho acknowledge the being and slowly began to piece things together.
Suddenly, an idea flashed through Kang In-ho’s mind as he quietly pondered.
Kang In-ho snapped his head up and took in the being before him.
“Could it be… a god?”
“Could you not shorten it? Dimension Management God and god are different.”
The Dimension Management God, Loki, smiled as he took out his wings.
Kang In-ho frowned involuntarily as the handsome man smiled at him.
“You must be the Dimension Management God of this place.”
Kang In-ho, feeling strangely looked down upon, stretched his stiff body and sat down in the seat.
The chair made of metal made his butt uncomfortable.
“You’re not seeing a Dimension Management God for the first time, are you?”
Loki tilted his head for a moment at Kang In-ho’s experienced attitude, then grinned.
He looked like a child who had found a very interesting toy.
Clap, Loki clapped his hands, and a plastic chair appeared in front of Kang In-ho.
It looked similar to the flimsy ones in front of convenience stores.
Loki sat facing him, and Kang In-ho’s eyes twitched as the Dimension Management God sat quite close.
“I thought I had collected all the souls of mortals, but how is there such a being? Looking closely, it’s not even a soul that originated in my dimension. The soul’s level seems to be decent… Huh? It’s even noble? Wow~ What on earth are you? I’m so curious, can you tell me? Huh? Huh?”
Loki’s excited words grew faster and faster. Kang In-ho didn’t know the reason for his excitement, but he sensed that it wasn’t a normal reason.
“Before I tell you, can I ask you something first?”
Kang In-ho glanced at Loki’s face. He was still smiling, so there seemed to be a chance for a deal.
“I asked first… You’re a mortal who doesn’t understand the basics of a deal? …But, I like you. I’ll make an exception and answer you first.”
Loki rubbed his palms together.
“What class of Dimension Management God are you? No. Let me ask you directly, are you higher than 3rd Class?”
“…You even know about classes?”
Instead of the frivolous tone from before, a low voice returned.
“You’re a very interesting mortal.”
Loki’s eyes flashed open. His bright yellow eyes stared at Kang In-ho without blinking.
“……..”
His mouth felt parched with just the gaze alone.
Kang In-ho hid his nervousness by fixing his trembling jaw.
“Well, I have to answer since you asked. I’m Loki, a 1st Class Dimension Management God.”
Loki said, crossing his legs.
“1st Class Dimension Management God Loki.”
Is that how I’m supposed to call you, Kang In-ho muttered.
“Just call me Loki.”
Loki was not an authoritarian Dimension Management God. He waved his hand, correcting Kang In-ho’s title.
“Anyway, I answered, so you have to answer too, right? Tell me your identity and the reason you’re doing Dimensional Shift.”
“I don’t really have an identity. I’m just a human. You guys call it a noble soul, though.”
“Hmm… Has there ever been a mortal who knows the secrets of the world so well?”
Loki muttered, not caring if the person across from him heard.
“Dimensional Shift… It’s not my ability. Some damn Dimension Management God put some kind of spell on me.”
“A Dimension Management God? Why?”
Loki’s eyes widened.
At Loki’s question, Kang In-ho crossed his arms and closed his eyes. Why was it? He searched his memory.
Ah!
“I swore at a Dimension Management God.”
“Meeting a Dimension Management God would be the story of when a noble soul was sacrificed for the stability of causality. What did the Dimension Management God say that made you swear?”
“I just asked to be returned to my original world.”
“Ah, that’s a bit difficult. It’s complicated to explain, but it’s basically impossible.”
Loki nodded. Kang In-ho’s heart grew heavy.
He thought that arrogant pigeon was lying because she was annoyed, but seeing that a 1st Class Dimension Management God was saying the same thing, it seemed that it really was impossible.
“Anyway, in the process, I swore at the Dimension Management God a little, and the pissed-off Dimension Management God put a spell on me, and this situation happened.”
“What’s the content of the spell?”
“Every time I die, I’m possessed by a being from another dimension.”
As soon as Kang In-ho finished speaking, Loki burst into laughter.
Kang In-ho’s brow furrowed deeply at the frivolous laughter.
Loki’s laughter didn’t stop for a while. He laughed so hard he thought he was going to die.
“Ah, sorry, sorry.”
After a few minutes of roaring laughter, Loki regained his breath and wiped the tears from his eyes, asking for understanding.
“Ahem, so that’s why you were able to do Dimensional Shift. And your soul’s level also increased while passing through various dimensions.”
Loki cleared his throat and took a breath.
“Soul’s level?”
“Um, you don’t need to know that. It’s a term we use.”
Loki winked and said cheerfully, and Kang In-ho’s face crumpled.
“Anyway, you guys would be in trouble if I kept wandering around like this, right? If you’re a 1st Class Dimension Management God, you can easily undo a spell cast by a 3rd Class Dimension Management God, right?”
“Hmm, well. It depends on the spell. I only saw it roughly, but… the spell on you. It’s very messily layered. The spell’s completion is also poor, and the instability is high… Is this incompetent guy really a Dimension Management God? …Um? There’s also a blessing, but it seems like another dimension god gave it to you?”
“Ah, a 4th Class Dimension Management God gave it to me.”
“Wow- How could there have been no reports at all when this situation happened?”
Loki was genuinely impressed by his juniors’ ability to conceal things.
“So, can you undo this spell? Or can’t you?”
When Kang In-ho pressed him, Loki pouted his lips to one side.
“I can, but it takes a lot of effort, and there’s no reason to undo it.”
“No reason to undo it? I’m causing problems by wandering around, aren’t I?”
Kang In-ho’s face was bewildered at the unexpected reaction.
“Well, it’s a bit much to explain everything to a mortal. In my opinion, you need to travel a bit more.”
“No, what does that mean… You son of a bitch!”
Kang In-ho stood up, hitting the armrest, and Loki grinned.
“Wow~ You have quite the temper. Ah, did you know? Mortals commit various sins, but even though there seem to be a lot of types, if you trace them back to their roots, they can be classified into seven categories.”
“Shut up and undo this spell!!”
Whether he shouted or not, Loki scratched his ear with his pinky finger and yawned.
“In my opinion, the sin your soul is committing is ‘wrath’.”
Loki clapped his hands, and the Dimensional Shuttle began to vibrate.
“What, what is it!”
Kang In-ho screamed, looking at the ceiling getting lower and lower with a cracking sound.
“Well, the next dimension is waiting for you. Mortal Kang In-ho.”
“Hey! Hey! What’s the reason for doing this?!!!”
Kang In-ho screamed, feeling the pressure crushing his entire body.
“Because… it’s fun?”
Loki waved his hand from inside the increasingly distorted Dimensional Shuttle.
“Shiiiibal!!!”
Kang In-ho, who was screaming in pain as his body was compressed, realized that the scenery in front of him had changed.
Sweating profusely, he looked around.
“Gasp!”
“He’s alive?”
“Kang In-ho, as expected! You’re the strongest!”
The crowd surrounding him chanted his name.
Leaving the boiling commotion behind, he carefully examined his body.
He was wearing normal clothes, but a strange machine on his left hand bothered him.
‘I feel like I’ve seen it somewhere….’
“How….”
A woman’s voice was heard. Kang In-ho looked up.
A woman with blue hair was looking at him with an incredulous expression.
“B, but his life points were definitely 0… Why!”
“Life points?”
The woman’s face turned vicious at Kang In-ho’s dumbfounded question.
“Did you hate becoming mine that much? Kang In-ho? But it’s useless. You don’t have any cards left to protect you now! So accept it willingly, through this duel of death, your existence will become mine! I end my turn!”
“Du… el?”
Before he could figure out what the situation was, a card came out of the machine on his left hand.
Kang In-ho picked up the card as if possessed and shouted.
“Draw.”
