Elf Rescue
by Afuhfuihgs
As the Elf Resistance followed Maduka, Count Paraik’s castle finally came into view.
Count Paraik was leading his retainers, standing outside the castle gates.
Count Paraik greeted us with a bright smile.
“I’ve heard the news! I am Count Paraik, who manages this area. We welcome the Elf Resistance.”
I also greeted him with a bright face.
“I am Kyle, the commander of the Elf Resistance. It’s a pleasure to meet you.”
As Count Paraik led us into the castle, I asked a question.
“Is it really okay for our Elf Resistance to enter the castle?”
“Of course. Elves are friends of humans. You must all be tired from the long journey, so please rest here.”
Lirei expressed her gratitude with a relieved look.
“Thank you so much, Count Paraik-nim.”
“Hahaha. We should live helping each other like this.”
Count Paraik led us to two huge buildings inside the castle.
“The Elf Resistance can garrison here. It will be quite cramped. I’m sorry, but these are the only buildings we have available.”
I waved my hand dismissively.
“We are grateful just for this kindness.”
Count Paraik told us to rest for now and then left with his retainers.
Inside the building, there was a dormitory-style living quarters with military beds.
Nisa and I could use one small room, and the rest of the Elves could barely fit into the living quarters and hallways.
Under the command of Lirei and the Elf officers, the Elf Resistance each took their places and rested.
When it was time for dinner, Maduka came to the Elf camp with soldiers.
I went out to greet him.
“What’s going on?”
“Kyle-nim. We have prepared a meal for the Elf Resistance, so it will be here soon. Count Paraik-nim would like to invite Kyle-nim and your wife to dinner separately. Would that be alright?”
Nisa, who was next to me, was excited.
“Honey! We’ve been invited to a human dinner! Kyaa! I’m so happy~!”
I paused for a moment before answering.
“I’ll get ready and come out.”
“Hahaha. Take your time.”
I went into the Elf camp and said to Lirei.
“My wife and I have been invited to Count Paraik’s dinner, so we’ll be going.”
“It’s a good start to have interactions with humans! Have a good time.”
I warned Lirei with a serious face.
“Lirei. You said that humans are greedy, right? Be careful of the food that humans give you.”
“Isn’t Count Paraik friendly?”
“Anyone can act. The important thing is what they’re thinking inside.”
“I understand. I will thoroughly check all the food. Aren’t you and your wife in danger going alone, Kyle-nim?”
“It could really be goodwill, so it’s not easy to refuse. I’ll take all my equipment.”
“Be careful.”
I put on my Mithril armor and helmet, carried the World Tree Shield on my back, and hung the Electric Hammer on my waist.
I also armed Nisa with light armor.
As Nisa and I went outside the camp, Maduka asked in surprise.
“Why are you armed for a meal?”
“I’m sorry, I’m just very cautious. If you don’t like it, we can just skip the dinner.”
Maduka thought for a moment and then smiled brightly again, saying.
“No, it’s alright. The Count-nim is more open-minded than you think, so he will understand. Please follow me.”
Nisa and I were led to the hall of Count Paraik’s mansion.
Count Paraik was sitting at the table in the center of the hall.
Count Paraik stood up and welcomed me.
“Welcome!”
I bowed my head and expressed my gratitude.
“Thank you for such a warm welcome.”
Count Paraik noticed my appearance and gave me a warning.
“Even so, you shouldn’t bring weapons here, should you? Please leave your shield and hammer on the table over there by the wall.”
I left my shield and Electric Hammer on the table by the wall, and Nisa and I sat at the table and had a pleasant conversation with Count Paraik.
Soon, maids brought out luxurious food and set it on the table.
Mushroom soup, rare-grilled beef steak, grilled vegetables, etc. It was a top-class meal.
I took a sniff of the steak. Sseuup.
I could smell sleeping pills and anesthetics in the scent.
I rebuked Count Paraik.
“You put drugs in the steak. Even so, this is not right, is it?”
Nisa was angry after hearing my words.
“Who gives something like this to a guest! You’re a bad guy!”
Count Paraik frowned and became annoyed.
“Aish. I thought I would get away with it since I lost my Spirit, but no. Everyone, come in!”
Just as Count Paraik hurriedly got up and ran towards the wall, the doors of the hall opened, and 13 knights and soldiers rushed in and surrounded Nisa and me.
Maduka provoked me with a sly smile.
“You lost your Spirit and your weapons are over there, so what are you going to do? Huh? Hahaha!”
Nisa was furious.
“You! You bad guy! I won’t forgive you!”
Count Paraik said with expectant eyes.
“Can you beat this force? The Fairy Queen will be the best product! I should taste her before selling her. Euhahahaha!”
I stood up, letting out a burst of laughter at the situation that unfolded exactly as I had expected.
“Haha. Seriously. This is ridiculous.”
As I reached out my hand towards the Electric Hammer, the Electric Hammer floated up with a duung and flew quickly towards my hand, with the humans in its path being hit in the back and exploding with kwajik pak pajijik.
Soon, the Electric Hammer, covered in blood, was caught in my right hand with a tak.
The Electric Hammer was made of the rare divine metal Orichalcum, containing powerful electric power and returning to its owner.
Count Paraik made a dumbfounded expression and then shouted urgently.
“Break his limbs, but capture him!”
The knights and soldiers shouted and rushed at us.
“Uwaaaa! Capture him!”
“They’re just guys without Spirits anyway!”
Nisa flew to the ceiling and shot illusion magic in all directions, causing soldiers with weak mental strength to start attacking each other.
Nisa has been beaten by me before, but she is a strong Fairy Queen who has lived for a thousand years.
One soldier went crazy and screamed, piercing the neck of the archer next to him.
“You Orc! Die!”
“Tom? Keok! Keuk!” (Thud)
Maduka glared at me with fire in his eyes, stabbing his sword at me while cursing.
“You bastard!”
I swung the Electric Hammer horizontally and hit Maduka’s sword blade, causing electricity to flow from the blade with a jijijijik, and Maduka screamed as he received an electric shock.
“Eugyagya!”
I moved quickly, leaving afterimages, and appeared in front of Maduka.
I blew Maduka’s head off with the Electric Hammer.
Kwajijik!
Maduka, the commander of Count Paraik’s knights, disappeared like an extra.
Count Paraik shouted anxiously.
“Hieek! Call more soldiers!”
While a few soldiers went outside to call for reinforcements, I summoned the Four Great Spirit Kings.
Ifrit stretched and asked.
“Hey. Kid. Is it party time now?”
I pointed to Count Paraik and instructed.
“Kill everyone except that pig over there.”
Count Paraik screamed in a panic.
“Uwaaaa! He has Spirits!”
As Count Paraik ran out of the hall, a flood of reinforcement soldiers poured in.
As I swung the Electric Hammer, deflecting the pouring attacks and shooting electricity in all directions, the soldiers who were electrocuted screamed eugyagya and collapsed, and some exploded.
Ifrit cheered.
“Good! Kill them!”
A rain of fire created by Ifrit poured down on the soldiers,
Elquines pierced the soldiers with ultra-high-pressure water cannons,
and Sylphid blew their heads off with blades of wind.
Because Noahs was in a place without soil, he became a 2m tall and punched the soldiers.
One magician defended himself from the pouring attacks of light, fire, water, and wind with a magic shield, and shouted urgently, bleeding from his mouth due to mana backflow.
“Damn it! What is this! It’s too strong!”
I explained excitedly.
“Hahahaha! That’s what happens when you attack without knowing your opponent’s strength!”
The magician was hugged tightly from behind by another soldier who was caught in Nisa’s illusion, causing the magic shield to disappear, and he struggled before being pierced by numerous spears along with the soldier.
Only the corpses, flesh, and blood of human soldiers remained around us.
With Maduka, the strongest of the knights, having his head blown off in one hit and most of the other knights also dead, the soldiers screamed and ran away.
“Uwaaa! We can’t win!”
“Damn it! I came because they said they’d give us a bonus if we caught the Elves! Save me!”
I decided to catch Count Paraik and instructed everyone.
“Let’s go catch the Count! Sylphid! Lead us to where the Count is!”
Sylphid led us to where the Count was, using the scent of Count Paraik carried by the wind.
Nisa flew after us, shouting in an angry voice.
“We have to punish that pig!”
I grabbed the World Tree Shield and held it in my left hand, and with the Electric Hammer in my right hand, I entered the mansion’s hallway.
Just then, five soldiers in front of me stretched out their spears and tried to collide with me.
I put mana into the Electric Hammer and struck the air with a bang, causing a shockwave filled with electricity to explode, and the five human soldiers were shattered into pieces and splattered on the hallway wall.
“Hahaha! This is fun!”
As I walked down the hallway with the Four Great Spirit Kings and Nisa, maids and retainers with no combat power screamed and ran away in all directions.
“Kyaaa!”
“I don’t know anything! Please save me!”
I instructed Nisa.
“Kill them all!”
Nisa flinched and asked.
“Honey. They’re just civilians?”
“Do you think they didn’t know about this situation? They’re all guilty!”
Nisa made up her mind and answered.
“Okay!”
As Nisa cast illusion magic on those who were running away, people lost their sense of direction and ran towards us, screaming.
“Save me! I have to run away!”
Ifrit spewed Inferno in front of us with a hwaaaaaak, but the maids and people still ran into it and turned to ashes with painful screams.
“Kkeuaaaa! Why is there fire all of a sudden! Kkeuaaaa….”
As the hallway became empty, I instructed Sylphid.
“Sylphid. Let’s go to the Count quickly!”
“Okay.”
We followed Sylphid, killing everyone we encountered along the way, and went outside the mansion.
It was evening outside.
Sylphid said.
“It seems the Count escaped outside the mansion. What should we do?”
“Since we’re stronger than they thought, he went out to call the soldiers. Sylphid. Go to Lirei right now, explain the whole situation, and tell her to prepare for battle!”
“Okay.”
As Sylphid flew away to the Elf camp with a shwoong, I ordered the rest.
“We’re going to the Elf camp too!”
Nisa cheered and shouted.
“Yes! Honey!”
Noahs gathered soil outside the mansion and grew bigger and bigger, becoming a 60m tall earth giant, and said.
“Let’s go.”
“Ooh! Noahs is so cool!”
“It’s not like I’m doing this because I like you.”
As Noahs walked in front, the ground shook with a kung kung.
Civilians on the street and in the houses screamed when they saw Noahs.
“Uwaaaa! It’s a giant!”
About 100 soldiers ran from the other side of the street.
A knight with an axe in front shouted loudly.
“If we catch that man with the hammer, it’s over! Capture him!”
The soldiers’ faces were filled with fear, but the soldiers shouted and charged at us, and some shot arrows.
“Uwaaaaa!”
Noahs blocked the soldiers’ path and said.
“I’ll block them, so go.”
“What are you talking about? We can kill them all if we combine our strength. Let’s kill them all and go together.”
Nisa, Ifrit, and Elquines shot spears of light, fire, and water.
As I raised the Electric Hammer high into the sky, lightning struck the Electric Hammer from the sky with a kwagagang, and the power of lightning settled on the Electric Hammer.
As I powerfully struck the ground in the direction of the soldiers with the Electric Hammer, a torrent of electricity ran across the ground with a kugagagang, and the soldiers were electrocuted and screamed.
“Eugyagyagyagya!”
The knight with the axe jumped high and escaped the electricity, but the giant Noahs fell forward with a kuaaang and crushed everything with his belly, and the knight was crushed along with the soldiers.
When Noahs stood up again, the soldiers were like tomato ketchup, and Noahs’ belly was also covered in a lot of ketchup.
I shouted excitedly.
“We killed 100 people for now! Let’s go to the Elf camp!”
As we approached the Elf camp, what we saw was a situation where human soldiers were surrounding and attacking the Elf camp, and the Elf Resistance was barricading themselves inside.
The Elves shot arrows or swung curved swords through the windows inside the building, and the human soldiers blocked with shields and stabbed their spears into the windows to try to get in.
Count Paraik was also visible over there.
I instructed Noahs.
“Step on them all!”
As Noahs ran, the ground vibrated with a kung kung.
The human soldiers looked up at Noahs and screamed with pale faces.
“Uwaaaaak! It’s a giant!”
The Elves cheered.
“It’s Noahs-nim! Kyle-nim has returned! Hold on!”
The human soldiers stretched out their spears with trembling hands, but Noahs stepped on the human soldiers like bugs.
Kwajik
The 60m tall Noahs danced a tap dance.
Kungkwang kungkwang kwajik kwajik kwajijik
“Uwaaaa!”
The human soldiers exploded like bugs, but there was no strong person left on the human side to stop this.
Count Paraik ordered a retreat in fear.
“Everyone retreat! We have to get out of the castle!”
As the human soldiers screamed and ran away, I ordered.
“Elves! Kill all the humans and capture the Count!”
The Elves who had been barricading themselves shouted and poured out of the building.
“Uwaaaa! How dare you deceive us!”
“Bad humans! Die!”
As the Elf melee warriors swung their curved swords at the backs of the fleeing human soldiers, the human soldiers screamed and fell.
The Elf archers shot arrows and pierced the necks of the fleeing human soldiers.
The corpses of humans piled up everywhere.
Lirei jumped with quick movements, lightly stepping on the heads of humans with a tatatata, ran forward, jumped again, and landed in front of Count Paraik with a chak.
Count Paraik fell backward and screamed.
“Uwaaaa! Save me! I’m sorry for attacking!”
The Elves killed most of the human forces and captured Count Paraik, and the war ended in the Elves’ victory.
Nisa and I approached Count Paraik, who was surrounded by Elves.
Count Paraik rubbed his hands together and begged.
“I’m sorry! I’m really sorry!”
I instructed Nisa.
“Nisa. Put illusion magic on him to make him obedient.”
As Nisa put her hand on Count Paraik’s head, Count Paraik rolled his eyes and trembled before stopping.
Count Paraik’s face relaxed, and he stood up and greeted politely.
“Marquis Naos-nim. How do you do.”
Nisa explained.
“Honey made him see you as someone he can’t refuse.”
