“Alright, the trial will now commence.”

“What trial? We had fun, why are you making a fuss now, huh?”

The day after a fun outing, Jua suddenly started trying me.

She even brought Se-a along, barging into my room while Ji-hye was at work.

I wracked my brain trying to figure out what was going on, but no answer came.

Why the hell am I being cornered on my bed at this early hour, before even having lunch, and suffering like this?

“Why are you here helping, too? Can’t you both just leave?”

“Hey! The defendant isn’t allowed to say such things!”

Like a judge, she slammed her fist on her thigh as if it were a gavel.

What did I do wrong? I did everything she wanted at the pool, even brought along someone I wasn’t planning to.

And after paying for everything, including her swimsuit, my own damn sister is putting me on trial?

It’s so absurd it’s laughable. They should at least tell me what I did wrong.

Se-a, unusually, was looking at me with a triumphant expression, and Jua was no different.

It’s fine to gang up on me like this, but I need to know the reason to play along.

“You have to tell me what I did wrong so I can understand! This isn’t fun if you just do this!”

Unlike how I thought of it as a game, the two of them, or rather, Se-a, unusually rebuked me with an energetic voice.

“Prosecutor! The defendant keeps lying. Please submit the definitive evidence!”

“Understood, Your Honor. I have received information that the defendant shared love with Ji-hye last night.”

Like a prosecutor in a trial, she pointed at me with her index finger and smiled.

But who reported that? No one said anything.

It’s not like Ji-hye would say it, she’s not stupid, and there’s no reason to tell them something like that.

Then someone must have seen it, but everyone seemed to be sleeping quietly.

I didn’t check each one… but if they were awake, they wouldn’t have let it slide.

If they could find any excuse to latch onto, they would, so why would they just let it go?

At worst, they could have yelled at Ji-hye and me that night, complaining, “Why only you two!” Even if they just got angry like that, something would come of it.

As I tried to get up, Jua reached out and stopped me.

After looking at it for a bit, Jua nodded and handed the phone back to Se-a, then lightly tapped her knee with her fist again.

“After reviewing the prosecutor’s evidence, the undeniable truth has been proven!”

“Don’t talk nonsense! How can KakaoTalk be evidence? So Ji-hye told you?”

It’s a lie, right? Tell me it’s a lie, Jua.

“Based on this KakaoTalk evidence, I order the defendant to go on a date with the Judge and Prosecutor until tomorrow!”
