Conquest Battle (4

    Conquest Battle (4)

This is harder than I thought.

Just because I lost one of my five senses, sight, it was hard to move the way I wanted.

‘As expected, sight is pretty important.’

It was impossible to identify and avoid everything with just the remaining senses.

    “Sorry, are you okay!?”

    “I’m okay.”

I could sense Echo’s position with my hearing.

If this had happened in a normal field, I would have just laughed it off, but this is happening while we’re fighting a conquest battle boss.

Even this is a nuisance and a DPS loss. I’m not doing any DPS and just handling the gimmicks, but Echo definitely needs to be doing the DPS role.

Since I’m not doing any DPS at all, there’s a high chance we’ll lack DPS.

This kind of thing is best done by a ranged utility class that doesn’t need high DPS, has high utility, and is easy to DPS with, but they don’t have enough mobility, so it’s impossible.

The black debuff orbs that the boss throws are slow, but they fly randomly around the boss field, so I thought it was best for an assassin class with good mobility to handle it, and Reina’s judgment was accurate.

I reached out and grabbed Echo’s shoulder, trying to slide up and move, but in that short time, several black orbs were already floating around the boss room, and the neglected black orb exploded.

    “Ugh!?”

    “Whoa!”

As if a sticky slime had burst, black liquid splattered on all the party members, and instead of the debuff stacking on one person at a time, it stacked on everyone, and the result was, of course, a wipe.

    The returned vision was dazzling.

    “Keueung.”

As I squeezed my eyes shut at the sudden return of vision, my body was lifted up.

    “Arang-a.”

    “Yeah.”

When I opened my eyes slightly, Reina was holding me up like she was holding a daughter.

“Is it too hard to eat them all by yourself?”

“It’s just because it’s my first time, so I’m not used to it, but I think I can do it if I do it a few times.”

“If it’s too hard, another person can help you.”

“No. This is something I have to do alone. Reina-unni also knows that.”

“That’s true, but you know it’s okay to have two people do it.”

“It’s okay. Just three times. I’ll get used to it in just three tries. If I die and die again after three times, then it’s a waste of time.”

If one of the eight party members gets hit by the boss’s debuff, the boss gets a buff.

It’s a crazy buff that gives all beneficial effects at once, like attack power, defense, movement speed, attack speed, and so on.

What I’ve learned from trying so far is that the boss uses a wipe skill when it receives four of those buffs.

But if three people get the debuff and the boss stacks three times, then the tank can’t handle it.

So, it’s right for two people to take and manage the debuff, but the best situation is for one person to take it all.

If two people take it, neither of them can DPS comfortably, so it’s much easier for one person to take it all and only one person to not be able to DPS.

The problem is that there’s still no way to remove the debuff, but I think it’ll probably come out in the gimmick after the boss reaches 85% health.

    “Okay. I’ll trust Arang-i.”

With Reina’s permission, I started the try.

Like before, after the debuff exceeded 4 stacks, the vision became so dark that I couldn’t distinguish anything in front of me.

From this point on, I have to understand the surrounding situation with only my other senses.

I was flustered at first, so I didn’t notice, but now I know that the black debuff orbs intentionally make a unique sound.

    A small, wide bell-like sound, zhiiiing… a subtle sound.

The short, cheerful sound coming from the front is Soma.

The heavy, dull sound coming from the 11 o’clock direction is the knight.

The sounds coming from all directions are heard as information one by one.

Vision doesn’t come in. But everything that’s happening in this conquest battle is starting to feel vivid in my head, but…

Walking forward with my eyes blacked out was scary.

I understand in my head that a debuff is slowly floating towards me and there are party members next to me, but running when I can’t see is causing fear.

Moreover, I just have to run forward, but because I can’t see, it feels hard to keep my balance.

    Sarak.

I can feel the black debuff orb touching my body.

‘Good. Let’s just keep doing this.’

While avoiding the party members’ movements and looking for the black debuff orb, another problem arose.

I was so focused on the orbs and the party members to avoid causing accidents as much as possible that I wasn’t aware of the biggest and most dangerous thing.

    It was the boss.

    “Arang-a, it’s dangerous!!!”

Pinku, the main healer, shouted loudly, and I sensed something big was approaching me with a loud wind sound, but it was already too late.

    Peoeok!

    “Keoeok!”

Something huge struck my back hard, and the air remaining in my lungs escaped from my mouth in an instant, and my whole body stiffened.

    “Arang-a!”

Something flew quickly from the direction where Pinku’s voice was heard, but before that, the thing that hit my back struck my body again.

I died as it was and started the try again, and as I progressed, I realized that after eating a certain amount of debuffs, the boss was intentionally adding additional tail attacks to me.

‘No, is he really out of his mind!?’

I realized that this was probably a device to make two people manage the debuff, but after dying once again, I just got stubborn.

The third try I asked for.

Maximize the senses of the body, the senses provided by the system, and the extremely developed senses from living in a vegetative state with a dead mind for a long time, maintaining a supersensory state.

I have now completely grasped the awakened state that only comes out during menstruation.

In a state where I can’t see, I grasped all the information generated from the boss, the 7 party members, and the black debuff orbs slowly spreading in all directions in my head.

Now that I’m used to it, I’m not just running around, but using the numerous movement skills that exist as an assassin to stir up the field.

    Shushuuuuk!

A heavy, fast wind sound approaching me.

I immediately grabbed two daggers in reverse grip, received the maximum attack buff, and deflected them in time with the approaching timing.

    Paaang!

‘I can do it. It’s possible!’

While parrying the tail attacks that the boss periodically attacks the target with a lot of debuffs, I avoid the party members and take all the black debuff orbs that the boss sprays.

Even in a state where I can’t see.

‘I’m really glad I’m in an awakened state right now. How did this happen, lucky biki!?’

If I had just activated my supersenses, my brain would have been aching from all the senses I was feeling around me.

    But the situation became strange.

Normally, when I maintain my supersenses, my head aches from all the detailed information of everything I see, but because I can’t see, I can feel other things in detail.

The problem is that I can’t see the target, so all the information is pouring in, but that was neatly resolved by the awakened mode that was activated during the approaching menstruation.

Vision loss, menstruation, the worst things overlapped to create the best situation.

    ‘At this point…’

I started to deal damage to the boss, who was periodically attacking me with his tail, instead of just running to eat the black debuff orbs.

Ensídara’s party, the rival of the Mead party and constantly aiming for the position of the strongest party, was taking a break.

“Isn’t this conquest battle really the last raid?”

“I know. I didn’t know they would make it this hard? It seems to be the most difficult of all the conquest battles that have come out so far.”

    “I mean, it’s crazy.”

The man, the leader of the Ensídara party, nodded at the words of the party members around him.

“This difficulty is really hard. I didn’t expect the debuff to be so tricky.”

Ensídara is using a strategy of dividing the black debuff orbs between two people.

Finding this out is a very easy gimmick.

If four people divide it, the boss uses a wipe skill with a 4-stack buff.

If three people divide it, the tank can’t handle it and dies with a 3-stack buff on the boss.

    So, two people divide it.

The problem is that the DPS is just slightly lacking.

If the DPS is lacking, the boss uses another wipe skill at the 85% gimmick if you don’t deal a certain amount of DPS to reduce the health to 80%.

So, one person eats it all alone? That’s impossible.

The moment you eat all the debuffs, that one person dies before long.

You can’t eat all the debuffs in a state where you can’t see, and even if you somehow manage to eat all the debuffs, you can’t avoid the boss’s attacks, so you die quickly.

Someone else has to eat all the debuffs, but then it’s worse than having two people divide it.

“This is a gimmick that we can easily pass if we try a little more.”

It’s the right gimmick for two people to divide it.

The DPS is just slightly lacking. If you get used to the boss’s short patterns while trying, the dealers will deal more DPS, and then it will naturally succeed.

“I wonder how the Mead, ArangArang alliance party is doing.”

I don’t know how embarrassed I was when I first found out about this.

It’s rare for a normal party to ally with another party. But because the ArangArang party doesn’t have a sponsor, it became possible, and in the end, they were doing the first clear try together.

“But wouldn’t we be similar to them?”

I thought it would be similar to what the party member said, and I went into Reina’s broadcast to see, but there was some crazy situation happening there.

    “I, is this even possible…?”

“What the fuck!? What am I even watching right now!?”
