Company Dinner

When I went out to go to school, I needed the help of one of the three: Anna, Pinkeu, or Na-kyung.

Closing my eyes, I slowly moved each of the neatly placed prosthetic arms and legs one by one and took them out of the bed.

Since they’re not attached to my body but stored separately in a drawer under the bed, it wasn’t easy to control them, but I controlled them with the feeling of controlling a mechanic rather than my own limbs, and made them come up to the bed.

If the light was on in the room and I knew right away that they were prosthetic arms and legs, it might be different, but since it’s so dark, they just look like arms and legs.

To fix the prosthetic arm to my body, I first lay down on the bed. And I put the right prosthetic arm on my right shoulder and tried to fix it with my left prosthetic arm, but it was quite difficult.

It would be different if I had sight, but it wasn’t easy because I had to do it with just sensation and the feeling I felt from my body.

But I succeeded.

Once one arm was successful, the next arms and legs were easy to do.

I put on opera gloves on my arms and thick stockings on my legs so that people wouldn’t be surprised, and carefully got out of bed.
