Chapter Index

    Children of Zeus (7) Persephone

Zeus, Neptune, Hades, Hera, Demeter, Hestia.

    Athena, Hephaestus. Ares. Apollo. Artemis.

Including the six siblings of Rhea, including me, I have created as many as 11 positions among the 12 Olympian gods. If I recruit just one more person, all of these positions will be filled, and I can begin to spread the name of the 12 Olympian gods far and wide.

What should I do with the remaining one spot?

This situation has become a bit tricky. There are several candidates, but only one spot left.

    ‘Aphrodite, Hermes, Dionysus.’

Including the children who have not yet been born, the number was insufficient to fill the 12 gods’ positions.

But if I were to increase it to 15 gods, the Round Table was already being made with 12 seats.

There are 12 Knights of the Round Table, and 12 disciples of Jesus. If I increase the number to 15 in this situation, various problems will arise.

One. The dignity of the 12 Olympian gods gradually fades.

The image of the main gods occupying a limited number of seats is the way to increase the authority of the Olympian gods, and if they are increased recklessly, the authority as the ruler of Olympus will decrease.

Challengers are valuable because the number is limited to several hundred. If the number increases by 1000 or 2000 each time, the value of the challenger will decrease.

I’m not going to create a Grand Challenger later, so I should just put a nail in it from the beginning.

Also, even those around me who reject the theory of fate began to worry fiercely about ‘superstition’ when I suggested deciding on the position of Olympus.

    -13 is a bit….

    -12 is good, 12 is.

“Is it fate that there are 12 great gods of Olympus?”

I tried not to accept fate as much as possible.

I wanted to selectively choose only the good parts of the original story and ignore it as much as possible.

But when I first expressed my opinion on whether to increase the number from 12 to 15, everyone, starting with Athena, was horrified.

I thought the ominous image of the number 13 in the West came from the relationship between Jesus Christ and his disciple Judas, but it seemed to be more deeply rooted than that.

14… They hate 13 even with 14. It was quite different from the East, which hates 4.

Anyway, increasing the number of seats became ineffective because of this. To be exact, increasing the number of seats caused a backlash from several gods, making it worse than not doing it.

Then, I have to stir-fry with the remaining one spot.

Should I fill the position with my children who will be born in the future, or should I fill the position with someone who has already been born or is currently alive?

And in order to share my concerns about whether or not to put that promising candidate in the position of one of the 12 Olympian gods, I looked for someone who would listen to my concerns.

“Eungae.” (Crying sound of a baby)

    “Zeus-nim, have some dignity.”

    “Eungae, I’m baby Zeus.”

I buried my face in her soft chest. Rhea hugged me warmly, worried that someone might see me acting like a child from outside the door.

    “Yes, what’s wrong?”

Rhea naturally led me to the bed. She seemed to want to do something else, but she laid my head on her lap and slowly stroked my hair.

    “Is something not working out?”

“I’m worried about how to fill one spot.”

    “What one spot?”

“I’m talking about the remaining one spot of the 12 great gods of Olympus. I’m worried about whether to follow fate or pioneer it.”

“That’s not like you. Weren’t you always against fate?”

“This case is a little different.”

    Think about it.

Aphrodite is not among the Olympian gods? That Venus is not there?

It might be a good thing. Aphrodite is beautiful, but she is also quite sexually promiscuous and had secret relationships with several gods.

She may be born as a woman, but since she was born from Uranus’ genitals, her origin is a dick. Perhaps Aphrodite, who was born with a clamshell opening, may appear as a blonde tanned thug.

Everyone except Zeus is being born as a woman, and if Aphrodite is the only threshold for that, it is worth sacrificing.

Even if I can’t fuck the goddess of beauty and love, I fucked many goddesses instead.

    Yeah.

Since many male gods are being born as goddesses, it is not strange for one or two beings who were originally supposed to be born as goddesses to be born as men.

So, Aphrodite is on hold for now. Hermes or Dionysus, who have not yet been born, are also on hold.

In the end, if I want to leave the remaining one spot vacant for one of the three, there are currently 11 people, but three candidates are waiting to be born for the remaining one spot.

And there is one person who I am not sure whether I was one of the 12 Olympian gods or not.

She has more definite legitimacy than anyone else, her mother who gave birth to her strongly wants her to be one of the 12 gods, she herself is capable enough compared to her other sisters, and I also remember her name accurately in my mind.

Including this child, there are ’15 people’. If 3 people are missing from the existing ones, 3 more people can come in later, but there was no one who was likely to be missing.

“A problem arose because I was trying to make that kid, who mother also knows well, a candidate.”

    “What kind of problem?”

“…The person in question doesn’t want it.”

Surprisingly, the person in question rejected my offer.

She boldly rejected my offer to become a god of the 12 Olympian gods. In fact, my offer was requested directly to me by her mother at the bedside, but she politely declined, knowing with her brilliant mind that my request was her mother’s request.

    The reason is one.

-I like living on the ground better.

She said she wanted to live a life living in harmony with nature on the ground rather than looking down at the ground from high in the sky.

“That’s a good thing to say. But you can just do that. I don’t think you’re the type to break the person’s will and force them to do it.”

“That’s right. I want to raise my children freely, as they want to. But the problem is the mother.”

Heumchit. Rhea’s hand froze. And she stroked my cheek with the hand that was stroking my hair.

“You came to me to ask for advice, so it must be my daughter. Who is it? Neptune? Hades?”

    “It’s Demeter.”

I tattled. I had no choice but to tattle because Demeter was the closest to Rhea among the other sisters.

“And the child I want to put in the position of one of the 12 main gods, and who rejected the offer…is Persephone.”

    Persephone.

The child born from the relationship between me and Demeter.

“So, what you’re saying is that you gave up in that situation, but Demeter is now strongly insisting on it?”

    “Yes.”

    What is the culprit?

    “Why the hell?”

“Goddess Gaia made a prophecy. The child Demeter gives birth to will one day be kidnapped by the king of hell and will not be able to see her parents’ faces.”

“When did mother talk about something like that again?”

“When I used to live in Gaia’s territory.”

In the end, it’s Gaia again.

She should just stay still, but as she gets older, her mouth itches and she keeps trolling with prophecies.

The reason why I am suffering from this prophecy even though I clearly warned her last time is because this is a prophecy that Gaia spread a long time ago.

There are not one or two things like that. There are not one or two people who have heard life spoilers from Goddess Gaia, and the spoilers they have heard are not just one or two.

“Demeter is too afraid of being separated from Persephone.”

I endured and endured Leto’s case until I finally exploded and acted rashly, but there was a long process of patience leading up to that point.

“So Demeter is trying to make Persephone a god of Olympus. She must be trying to prevent her from being sent down to hell.”

“That doesn’t seem to make much sense? Hades is the king of hell, who would dare to kidnap Persephone?”

    “…….That’s what I’m saying.”

    I know.

I know the original story to some extent, and I also know who kidnaps Persephone.

    Hades.

In the original story, Hades comes to earth and kidnaps Persephone. I know that the enraged Demeter tried to turn the land upside down, regardless of hell, and in the end, Persephone came to live going back and forth between earth and hell at certain periods.

Knowing the future is so headache-inducing.

The reason I asked Gaia not to talk about fate is because people in the present are afraid of it and suffer from it as something that will happen in the distant future.

    For example.

What should I do if Persephone is really kidnapped by Hades?

What should I do if the fate Gaia said comes true again?

    It’s a headache.

“Hades wouldn’t do something like that, would he?”

“I think a monster that jumped out of Tartarus would kidnap Persephone rather than Hades.”

“Mother, don’t you know? It was none other than…you who told Demeter that.”

    “…….”

Rhea was silent. I didn’t come to argue, but I couldn’t share my worries with Rhea anymore.

“Eh, I don’t know. No matter how much I worry, nothing more comes out.”

    “Th, then…?”

    “Let’s have sex.”

When I reach the moment of clarity, something brilliant will surely come to mind.

    * * *

    La, lala-

The blonde woman was singing in a beautiful voice. In front of the woman was another woman looking at her with loving eyes.

“That’s good, Persephone. It’s really beautiful.”

    “Thank you, mother.”

Persephone, who resembled Demeter, was like a single flower.

She smiled brightly with the flower crown made by Demeter on her head.

“I feel really blessed. I can grow crops and bloom flowers on this earth with mother.”

“Yes. But that’s why you should be even more…with me.”

Demeter’s expression was firm. Persephone looked at Demeter and shook her head with a bitter smile.

    “Mother. That’s confinement.”

“It’s okay if it’s confinement. If I can only protect you from those who are after you.”

    Demeter hugged Persephone tightly.

“How many people do you think will be after you when your truth is revealed? Why do you think I want to hide you!”

    “…….”

Persephone’s face reflected in the spring water was beautiful to anyone who saw it.

    However.

“Didn’t I tell you? The goddesses of Olympus will go crazy if they know your identity!”

    The god Persephone.

“Those crazy bitches will try to rape you! Especially that bitch Apollo even more!”

    Looking so feminine.

“I can’t stand seeing my son being raped!”

    It’s a man.

Zeus’s only son, with only a handful of people knowing the truth.
