Character Creation

Full-dive virtual reality game.
The first of its kind in the world.
The year 2050.
The day the gate opened and monsters poured out, effectively ending all hope.
The virtual reality game I had been waiting for was officially released.
It was based on magic, so it was quite different from what I had imagined.
[Linking magic.]
[Creating avatar.]
Virtual reality access device.
I laid down inside the machine, commonly called a capsule.
I connected the magic.
My body and the machine began to circulate as if they were becoming one.
A virtual body is formed in a virtual reality that deceives both body and mind.
[Welcome to Full Dive.]
[Please set your nickname.]
[ ]
I pondered over a nickname.
What should I use?
The deliberation was short.
[CoffeeAddict]
I entered the nickname I usually use and moved on.
An avatar appeared.
It was a man.
An avatar modeled after my real-life self appeared.
Circulating magic, it was a body identical to my real one.
The body I had trained to awaken was in fairly good balance.
I was very satisfied with my physique, thanks to my efforts.
But was it because I was seeing it from someone else’s perspective?
The face was a little disappointing.
It wasn’t bad.
I always got compliments on my looks wherever I went.
Still, there was a customization feature, so I wasn’t going to settle. I turned on the customization feature and slightly tweaked my face.
Two hours passed.
The avatar became [Female], and I discovered that I could receive bonuses when customizing if I raised the [Charm] stat.
When I raised [Charm], beauty emanated from my original appearance without any need for separate customization.
“Wow…”
Is this a person or a goddess?
I tried customizing it differently, but I decided on the pure appearance with Charm at Full.
The beauty that came from naturalness could not be reproduced with my creativity and skill.
Black hair.
Long hair that reached down to my hips.
Blue eyes.
Eyes like cut jewels.
Finally, I completed a female avatar with a body that looked like it would burst.
It was already a dynamite body to begin with, but I added a little more of my personal desires to the chest and hips. It was purely coincidental that the arrow was stuck at the end of the gauge bar.
Full Dive is a game where you conquer the tower using swords, but
I wasn’t playing the game to conquer the tower in the first place.
I didn’t want to take the game too seriously.
Enjoy it moderately.
Conquer it moderately.
I didn’t pay attention to rankings.
The most important criterion for me in a game was ‘satisfaction.’

[Magic] [10] [Luck] [10]
[Charm] [100]
[Aptitude] [10]
[Unallocated Points] [31]
A unique feature of Full Dive was that you could receive unallocated points by quantifying the level of your real-life body.
A system where you are evaluated in the game based on how strong you are in reality.
It was interesting, but also disappointing.
‘If I had known, I would have worked out more.’
I started working out a year ago.
Around the time Full Dive was released.
I trained to awaken, overcoming the frustration of only being able to access the game if I had magic.
A year after starting training, I succeeded in awakening, but that was it.
I stopped training after awakening.
Because I had achieved my goal.
I might have received more points if I had trained more, but
‘What’s done is done.’
I completed my original goal of accessing the game.
I wasn’t patient enough to postpone access and train more.
[Charm] [100]
[Aptitude] [41]
I allocated all the points to these two stats.
Additionally,
[Apply Geas?]
[Additional points will be awarded upon application.]
I used the Geas system.
Because 41 Aptitude points was low.
Geas was a system that granted blessings or converted points in exchange for curses.
[Yes!]
A curse that stiffens the body when with others.
Additional points +5
[Hot-Tempered]
A curse that makes emotions easily surge.
Additional points +5
[Frail]
A curse that makes you vulnerable to fatigue and debuffs.
Additional points +10
[Ill-Fated Beauty]
A curse that makes you easily exposed to good and evil.
Additional points +15
*Available for selection with 60 or more Charm points.
[Ill-Fated Talent]
A curse that makes you easily exposed to luck and misfortune.
Additional points +15
*Available for selection with 60 or more Aptitude points.
There were five Geas that could be applied.
If I maximized the additional points only within the range that doesn’t interfere with the game, it would be 55 points, so 50 points was a decent start.
Geas that interfered with the game included things like blindness, auditory hallucinations, drug addiction, and having one arm. If I included all of those, I could get a maximum of 100 points, but if I applied all of them, I would be no different from a disabled person, making smooth gameplay virtually impossible.
I invested all the added 50 points into [Aptitude].
[Aptitude] [91]
Charm and Aptitude were not stats that increased with training.
[Select a class.]
[-> Swordsman]
[Select a difficulty.]
[-> Grandmaster]
[Complete?]
[Cannot be changed upon confirmation.]
I pressed confirm.
