    574 – Blood of Revenge

    574 – Blood of Revenge

    Thump-thump-

Gaeul rolled her body and flew up to the sky where Levinas was.

Gaeul, who had risen high, collided with Levinas and bounced back in the direction she had come from.

    “Huh.”

How is such movement even possible?

Even if it’s zero gravity, isn’t something strange?

As I examined Gaeul, I could hear Jeong Yuna’s soft laughter.

Next to me, Jeong Yuna was releasing Mana towards Gaeul.

I thought it was some strange zero gravity, but it turned out to be Jeong Yuna’s doing.

“Gaeul, doggy! You got hit by Levinas and bounced back!”

    “Huff…!”

Gaeul, who failed to save Levinas, looked dejected.

It was a shame she couldn’t rescue him after flying so magnificently.

But our Gaeul wasn’t one to give up after a single failure.

    “Gaeul will try again!”

Gaeul, bending her legs, jumped up to the sky where Levinas was.

Since Jeong Yuna was controlling her, Gaeul was able to safely embrace Levinas.

I’m glad they could finally meet properly this time.

I gave a thumbs up towards the distant sky where the children were, congratulating her, when Gaeul, with wide eyes, said,

    “Master! Give me…!”

    “Huh? Give you what?”

    “Fairy…!”

“Fairy…? Is there a fairy here?”

    “Give me fairy…!”

    “Ah.”

Gaeul, hugging Levinas tightly, trembled and shouted.

She managed to get up there somehow, but she must be scared of coming down.

As I was wondering how to save Gaeul, the horse Divine Beast Hihihing approached me.

Saebyeok was sitting on top of the horse Divine Beast Hihihing.

    “Gyeoul, leave it to me.”

Saebyeok twirled a rope that a cowboy from the Wild West would use, and then threw it into the sky where the children were.

The long rope floated upwards in the zero gravity.

The problem was that the rope Saebyeok brought wasn’t long enough to reach where the children were.

    “The rope is too short.”

    “Then let’s be the rope!”

Bomi, grabbing the end of the rope, floated up into the sky.

    Haneul grabbed Bomi’s feet.

Were they going to become a human rope to save Gaeul and Levinas?

Thinking it was a fun plan, Saebyeok wagged her tail and grabbed Haneul’s ankles as she went up.

    “Next is Gyeoul.”

    “Okay. But wait a minute.”

Even if I hung on, the length of the rope would still be insufficient.

I decided to use a rope arrow here.

I brought a bow and arrow from the guild building and shot the rope arrow into the ground.

Tying the rope attached to the arrow around my ankle, I grabbed Saebyeok’s ankles with both hands.

    “Here we go!”

We became a living rope and went up to where Gaeul and Levinas were.

Thanks to connecting each other in a long line, the cowboy rope Saebyeok initially threw reached Levinas’s hand.

    “Levinas! Grab the rope!”

    “Okay!”

    Levinas grabbed the cowboy rope.

Confirming that everyone was connected in a line, I shouted to Jeong Yuna below.

    “Please pull us down…!”

    “Ah, okay.”

Jeong Yuna pulled the rope tied to my ankle.

It was a matter of pulling everyone connected, but my ankle didn’t hurt much.

I didn’t know if it was thanks to the zero gravity or Jeong Yuna’s magic.

“Gyeoul came down, and Saebyeok and Haneul also came…”

Jeong Yuna lowered us down one by one.

The rescue operation, which wasn’t too difficult, came to a perfect end.

    That was quite an operation.

Giggling with joy, I turned to look at Jeong Yuna.

“This isn’t real zero gravity, is it?”

    “No. It’s just an imitation.”

    I knew it.

It wasn’t exactly real zero gravity, but it didn’t matter since I could enjoy it with everyone.

    **

After returning home, we took showers and rested.

Levinas, still excited from the zero-gravity space, was telling his tales of bravery.

“Levinas jumped and went all the way up to the sky!”

“Yeah. Levinas’s jumping power is amazing.”

“Levinas might even jump to the sun when he grows up!”

    Levinas jumping to the sun.

The Horned Rabbit who fell into the lava became the Hero Horned Rabbit of the Fire Dragon.

Would Levinas become the Hero Horned Rabbit of the Sun?

It was the moment I imagined Levinas shining so brightly that it was blinding.

    “Master!”

Gaeul, with wide eyes, ran towards us.

    She looked somewhat frightened.

    “Gaeul, what’s wrong?”

    “Fell!”

    “Fell?”

    “Fell! Fell!”

Gaeul stomped her feet and pointed to the bedroom.

Wasn’t she playing with Bom in the bedroom?

I naturally turned to look at the bedroom, and Bom walked out of the bedroom, giggling.

    “Bom, what fell?”

    “My arm fell off.”

    “Your arm?”

    I examined Bom’s arm.

She was wearing long sleeves, so it wasn’t easy to see, but both arms were properly attached.

    “Your arm is fine…”

    Thud-

Before I could finish speaking, one of Bom’s arms fell off.

    “H-huh!”

    “……!”

I was so surprised that I couldn’t even scream.

Gaeul was also silently perking up her ears and tail.

    “B-Bom, are you okay…?”

“Yeah. Actually, this is Haneul’s arm.”

Black Mana leaked from the fallen arm and began to transform into Haneul’s Mechanical arm.

Bom had tricked us with Transformation Magic.

It was a magic specialized for pranks.

“Bom, this one was too scary.”

“R-really? Wasn’t it similar to the finger-cutting magic trick?”

    “Huh?”

The scale and quality were different, but it was still a cutting magic trick.

If Bom had imitated that after seeing it, I had nothing to say.

    “Guys, were you very surprised?”

“Yeah. I was really surprised this time.”

    “Levinas almost passed out…!”

    “Hmm…”

Bom, after pondering for a moment, carefully picked up the Mechanical arm.

She didn’t seem particularly happy even though her prank was successful.

“I won’t play this prank anymore.”

    “Why?”

“We promised not to play pranks that are too mean.”

Bom returned the Mechanical arm to Haneul.

I was proud of Bom for still trying to keep the promise she made on the day we first met.

There was a reason why I couldn’t hate Bom even though she often played pranks.

“I was just surprised that your arm suddenly fell off. It wasn’t a mean prank.”

    “Really? That’s a relief!”

    Bom looked genuinely relieved.

Behind Bom, I could see Gaeul contemplating quite seriously.

    “Hmm!”

Gaeul, looking around quite seriously, ran to the kitchen.

When she returned, Gaeul was holding a party popper.

    “Here.”

Gaeul handed the party popper to Bom.

She also gave her a look, suggesting she pull the trigger.

    ‘Could this be…’

Was Gaeul trying to get revenge on Bom for her prank?

If she set off the party popper, Bom would be startled.

It was a good attempt, but unfortunately, Bom knew what a party popper was.

    “Pull this?”

    “Huff…!”

“Should I pull it towards Gaeul?”

Bom pretended not to know anything and aimed the party popper at Gaeul.

Of course, she didn’t actually pull the trigger, but that alone was enough to startle Gaeul.

    “No! No!”

Gaeul ran away from the party popper, and Bom chased after her, aiming the party popper.

Startled, Gaeul began to run around the living room in circles to avoid the party popper.

Gaeul, whose daily life was a prank, was still far from being able to beat Bom.

    “Gaeul, should I pull this?”

    “No!!!”

    **

Fortunately, Bom didn’t set off the party popper on Gaeul.

Bom was a prankster who knew how to stay within the lines.

The problem was that Gaeul, who had failed in her prank, was starting to plot another prank.

    “Umm…!”

Gaeul, with her arms crossed, pondered with a rather serious expression.

She seemed to be researching how to trick Bom.

    “Here!”

    Gaeul picked up a crayon.

She remained still for a long time in that state, then put the crayon back down.

    “No, no.”

Did she think the crayon prank wouldn’t work?

What kind of prank was she even thinking of?

It was fun just watching Gaeul diligently planning a prank.

    “Here?”

Gaeul picked up an ant doll.

It was a possessed doll, so if used well, it could definitely startle Bom.

I cheered for Gaeul in my heart, but Gaeul just shook her head.

    ‘Not the ant doll either?’

What kind of prank was she trying to play?

Unable to resist my curiosity, I ended up interfering with Gaeul’s plan.

“Gaeul, are you going to prank Bom?”

    “Yes…!”

    “Then shall I help you?”

    “……!”

Gaeul’s tail perked up at my whisper.

Gaeul shook her head so quickly that her ears bounced up and down.

    “Help me.”

    “Okay. Let’s surprise Bom together.”

    Hehehe.

    I smiled evilly like Bom.

    Kukuku.

Gaeul also tried to smile evilly in her own way.

Unfortunately, she didn’t seem that evil.

    “Master, how?”

    Gaeul whispered to me.

She meant how we were going to play the prank.

    “Hmm…”

    That’s right.

I didn’t really have a prank in mind.

After pondering, I decided to imitate Gaeul’s way of speaking.

    “I don’t know!”

    “Huh?!”

“I haven’t come up with a method yet.”

    “Really?!”

    Dizzy-

Gaeul, with wide eyes, then burst out laughing.

It seemed that she was just happy to be doing something with me, rather than pranking Bom.

Of course, I also enjoyed planning a prank with Gaeul.
