I Became a Gallery Newbie Beloved by Transcendents

    Prologue

    Gallery (1)

I fell into a strange world.

There seemed to be no better way to explain the situation I was currently in.

There were no signs or premonitions whatsoever.

I simply maintained my usual routine of working a convenience store part-time job, engaging in community activities, and then going to sleep.

When I opened my eyes, a landscape ver different from my one-room apartment unfolded before me.

Gray walls and candlesticks hanging on those walls.

It didn’t seem like a dream. I had slapped my cheek, and the pain was very distinctly felt. Even pinching my thigh was clearly painful. The situation was so dream-like that it actually made me certain it was real.

‘…Should I have done my gallery activities a bit more nicely.’

I hadn’t even been harsh in my gallery activities yesterday.

No, perhaps if I had lived my life more diligently before engaging in gallery activities, I wouldn’t have fallen into this sewer-like world.

    I advanced very carefully.

    THUD.

    Something caught my foot.

My gaze turned towards my feet. What was caught on my foot was a skull.

    RATTLE RATTLE RATTLE….

It was definitely a human skull.

My mind was filled with confusion.

What kind of world have I been thrown into, this.

The presence of a skull means this is a space where elements of death exist.

Faded bricks. A smell mixed with soil and mold.

Well, it’s probably not a dungeon, right?

I moved my steps slowly. Right now, the only thing I could do was walk following the candlelight.

    Soon my footsteps stopped.
