    Terrorist

    Terrorist

    Terrorist

Since the distance between here and the central government is quite far, it’s impossible to move that guy by conventional means.

‘If I use spatial expansion magic to trap that guy, then use compression magic to quickly advance to the central government.’

It wouldn’t be difficult to release it elsewhere.

‘Of course, the problem is that the guy’s magic resistance seems quite strong… so the resistance might be more intense than imagined.’

But that’s a problem that can be solved with magic penetration, so there’s not much to worry about.

I took a light deep breath while looking at the enemy causing a commotion and activated the spatial expansion magic.

‘Well then, shall we go deliver a gift?’

I raised the corner of my mouth, thinking about how delighted they would be.

    *

There were mainly three reasons for dropping that thing on the central government.

‘The first reason is, as I mentioned earlier, that there are an enormous number of spies and believers from the Heaven God Cult planted there.’

Dropping this guy in such a place where they’re planted would make it ‘possible to distinguish between traitors and non-traitors,’ which was the second reason.

Lastly, the third reason was that since there was no information on where the cult’s headquarters was, there was nowhere else to drop it.

‘Well, whatever happens, as long as Rumi, Delia, and Espin aren’t harmed.’

Thinking that it doesn’t really matter where, I looked around.

‘This should be far enough to drop it.’

I nodded with satisfaction as I looked at the conference hall near the central government.

If I drop it here, it will directly hit the top brass of the central government, so the reaction to this guy should be quite intuitive.

I told Luna, wondering what kind of reaction this guy would show if I dropped him here.

    “Cast a perception reduction spell.”

    [Okay, got it!]

Luna nodded and said she would do so.

The moment the perception reduction spell was cast on my face, I seized control of the nearby detection spells and burst them.

    ‘Next thing to do.’

Now it would be to release that guy who’s floundering in the infinitely expanding space.

Thinking it would be quite fun, I raised the corner of my mouth and immediately released this guy at the spot I had marked earlier.

    – Kyaaaaaah!

After raging in an infinitely expanding space where nothing exists.

When things he could smash appeared before his eyes, he seemed quite pleased.

He starts to rampage more spectacularly than before he was confined, destroying everything around him.

    While I’m watching this warmly.

Luna, who was nestled in my arms, tilts her head and says.

    [Master, isn’t this terrorism?]

To that, I replied with a scornful voice.

“It doesn’t matter if it’s terrorism or not. I think it’s the responsibility for the central government’s failure to take any measures despite my repeated warnings about the dangers of the Heaven God Cult.”

    [I see.]

As I was patting Luna’s head as she nodded.

I slowly descended, watching the monster guy swinging his greatsword and smashing buildings.

‘I’m not sure if it’s unable to perceive its surroundings after transforming into that form, or if it’s acting like that because it’s angry from being beaten until it’s summoned back to its main body.’

Thinking that whatever it is, it’s not particularly bad for me, I relaxed my shoulders.

‘Now, I wonder what kind of response the central government will make?’

If there were any normal individuals left, they would fight back to defeat that thing or minimize the damage, but…

I can see that, strangely enough, they’re not taking any measures and everyone is running away.

‘Is it because it’s too difficult to fight against? Or is it because it’s hard to attack an ally?’

Since it was impossible to judge based on this alone, I decided to observe a bit more, when…

I noticed a team rushing in, perhaps to calm down the rampaging monster.

I was feeling quite satisfied that there were still some normal people left, given the number of people involved, when…

The approaching group suddenly pulled out syringes instead of weapons from their pockets and started approaching it.

    ‘Syringes?’

Since it was clearly not something used to deal with enemies, it caught my attention.

Thinking I had found the traitors, I quickly approached those guys.

And lightly struck their heads with lightning.

    “Aaaaargh!”

    Screams echoed.

Along with those screams, I used magic to pull the syringes that were about to fall to the ground towards me, and spoke to Luna.

    “Analyze what this is.”

    [Wung!]

Thinking that while usually useless, it’s quite useful at times like this, I gently patted Luna’s head.

Now I’m thinking it’s about time to take that guy down, as I massage my shoulder.

‘Well then, how should I kill him?’

Since he won’t fall by conventional methods…

It might be better to use expansion magic to forcibly cut him apart.

The problem is that his regeneration ability is too good, so simply cutting him apart won’t cause much damage.

‘Then should I try burying him in the ground like last time?’

    It’s not a bad idea.

But considering the power that guy possesses, I think he might be able to overcome even that and regenerate.

I needed a more clear and intuitive method.

So while I was contemplating what to do.

Luna, who was in my arms, tilts her head and says to me.

[By the way, Master, I’m curious about something. Do we really need to kill that thing?]

“What do you mean by that?”

[It seems like it could be quite useful, so why don’t we just raise it!?]

I laughed at the word ‘raise’.

It’s not like it’s a cat or a dog, what do you mean by raising… Wait, could it be possible?

If I use spatial expansion magic, it would be possible to confine it forever, so theoretically, it’s possible to raise that guy.

‘Of course, I say raise, but actually taming it would be impossible.’

Still, having something that can be used anytime, anywhere, isn’t that quite good?

As that thought crossed my mind, I smiled and answered.

    “That’s a good idea.”

I relaxed my shoulders, deciding to give Luna a treat as a reward when I get home.

‘Now that I’ve decided to raise it.’

After sucking out all the honey there was to be had, I looked around thinking about how to recover it.

‘Still no word from the central government.’

By now, they would usually send a sword saint or an archmage… at the very least, someone of a high rank to try and stop this.

I couldn’t help but be suspicious of their lack of response, let alone any movement.

‘Could it be that they’ve been devoured by the Heaven God Cult as well?’

But isn’t their power too great for that to happen?

Just as I was harboring doubts about their incomprehensible actions.

I see members of the Heaven God Cult nearby discovering me and drawing their weapons.

As I approach them using space compression magic to deal with those guys first.

I see numerous magical hands stretching out towards me, launching an attack.

Seeing this, I considered bursting them, but suddenly had an interesting idea and reached out to grab one of the guys behind and threw him forward.

    – Crunch!

The moment I threw him, his whole body crumbled and was dismembered.

Seeing this, I smiled, thinking I had discovered something quite good.

‘If used well, they could be used as meat shields.’

Not just meat shields, but they could also be used as bait or hostages.

I looked at the Heaven God Cult followers with a satisfied expression, thinking about their endless potential uses.

‘Whenever I have time, I could gather those cult members and put them to good use.’

Thinking that would be a good idea, I forcibly put the nearby ones into a space expanded by spatial expansion magic.

I jumped up and looked at the one below who was still pouring attacks towards me.

‘Well then, shall we catch it?’

However, just like the ones I caught earlier, if I put it in a regular spatial expansion magic.

Since its magical energy was so strong, there was a very high chance that the magic would break and it would escape eventually.

It was important to put it in a place where it would be difficult for it to escape.

    ‘Where would be good?’

If possible, it would be best to confine it in a small place with high magic resistance.

While thinking about this and looking around, I was able to find something quite interesting.

    ‘Mace.’

The thought crossed my mind that it would be quite good to put it in the mace I usually carry around.

‘It’s not just an ordinary mace, but one carefully selected from the Lercier Family.’

It probably has excellent inherent magic resistance.

‘Moreover, it’s an item I carry around constantly.’

It’s good for monitoring, and if problems arise, they can be solved at any time.

Thinking it was truly a perfect object to confine it in, I looked down at the mace.

I created a small space in the iron ball part of the mace, then expanded it with spatial expansion magic.

Since the confinement space happened to be round.

I thought I felt like the protagonist of Pox*mon, and smiled brightly at the monster in front of me.
