Chapter 867: Dallae’s Diary (1)
by Afuhfuihgs
Seeing No. 2’s attitude after so long, it seemed the training so far had been proceeding relatively smoothly.
Because No. 2 greeted me in a completely different manner than No. 1, who had been cursing and swearing at me right up until the last moment just a little while ago.
“O-oh, you’ve arrived, Warden-nim….”
Geum Dallae, who had been writing something with paper and pen, immediately got up from her seat the moment I opened the door and greeted me with a full-body kowtow on the floor, as if performing a formal bow.
The fact that she showed this attitude on her own, without me even ordering her to, acted as a slightly positive factor. After all, if this woman showed a willingness to submit voluntarily, my future plans would become much smoother.
‘In many ways, she’s completely different from No. 1.’
Of course, there were some differences in the training process, the duration of the training, and its intensity between No. 1 and No. 2.
No. 2 gradually increased the intensity of the punishment over a longer period, whereas No. 1 established discipline firmly with harsh punishments right from the first day.
However, even considering that difference, there was one clear distinction between the two women: the level of ‘resistance’ they showed towards me.
Unlike No. 1, who showed strong resistance no matter how much I hit her or shocked her with electricity, No. 2 showed outward signs of obedience after experiencing a certain level of violence.
It was something that needed more time to observe, but as things stood, it seemed certain that No. 2 was an easier woman to handle than No. 1.
“…Yeah, looks like you’ve been doing alright.”
“Yes. Thanks to your care, Warden-nim, I’ve been living comfortably.”
“The promised punishments? Did you receive all 50?”
“Yes. It might be a bit much to call it proof, but if you need it, I can show you the bruises left on my body as evidence…”
“No need to show me. Just stay down for now. I’ll check later.”
“Ah, understood…”
Since I had just been subjected to all sorts of curses from No. 1, No. 2’s attitude, adopting a completely submissive posture with the same face, couldn’t help but seem like a heavenly angel in comparison.
‘I’m starting to doubt if they’re really twin sisters.’
Since they grew up in the same Geumhyang Group, their upbringing environments probably weren’t that different. Perhaps their awakened abilities influenced the personalities of both women in various ways.
Just looking at Geum Dallae, lying naked before me without any hesitation, waiting for the next command, gave me the feeling that Geum Jangmi had submitted to me. I watched her for a moment before picking up the bundle of papers she had been scribbling on from the floor.
-Rustle. Rustle.
“……”
“Hmmph.”
“…Gulp.”
Geum Dallae watched me, glancing my way as I turned the pages, as if waiting for my evaluation. Seeing that she didn’t stop me even when I deliberately made noise to let her know I was reading, it seemed the content was written with the assumption that I would read it from the beginning.
“This, did you write all of it?”
“Y-yes… I, I organized all the information I know that could possibly help you, Warden-nim…”
“I didn’t exactly ask you to do that. I just gave it to you to pass the time if you were bored.”
“I-I’m sorry… I, I did something presumptuous…”
“Huh? No, no. I’m not saying you did anything wrong. The content itself is good, yeah.”
“…Thank you.”
It was filled with various details, including information about Geum Jangmi obtained from Geum Dallae to capture her, written densely across multiple pages.
It detailed how the Geumhyang Group had used awakened abilities to forcibly sign contracts and manipulate memories, methods and floor plans for restricted areas within the Geumhyang family’s private quarters, and how Geum Jangmi had used phantom pain against people who wouldn’t be harmed even if she did something to them, including her younger sister Geum Nari and herself.
It showed an effort to write down virtually everything possible, regardless of the value of the information.
‘Wait. The handwriting looks a bit different here.’
Unlike the neatly written, pretty script on the papers until just before, which seemed intended for me, the content from the eighth page onwards felt different.
Skimming through the text, which simply began with the sentence ‘Day 7’, it seemed that from this point on, it wasn’t meant for me but was simply a diary recording her daily life.
“You kept a diary? Seems you had some free time?”
“H-hieeek…!! I-I’m sorry…!!”
“I’m not really criticizing you. Was this diary also written for me to read?”
“Y-yes.”
“Answer honestly. Was it written for me to read? Or did you just write it, and I ended up reading it?”
“……I, I just wrote it. I thought if I didn’t at least count the days, I wouldn’t be able to pinpoint when you, Warden-nim, would return… So, I wrote the diary while keeping track of the dates.”
“There’s no clock here, so how did you know how many days had passed?”
“I, I used the time-setting function on the betting machine you left, Warden-nim. I set it so it would fire once every hour after the self-punishment ended, and th-that’s how I recorded the passage of time… Keeping track of how many hours had passed by the number of balls left in the betting machine…”
…She was a much more diligent and sharp-witted woman than I had expected. To the point where I wondered if I could have viewed her more favorably if not for the wrong she committed against Eunbyul.
Thanks to that, No. 2’s diary was somewhat organized by date, making it reasonably readable. It was a diary that contained her feelings about spending the past week inside this dungeon.
“I can read it, right?”
“Of course, you can read it, but… Since it wasn’t written with the assumption that you, Warden-nim, would read it, the content and handwriting might seem messy…”
“I don’t mind. Ah, come to think of it, since it’s your diary, it’s probably full of curses directed at me, isn’t it? Is that why you’re indirectly telling me not to read it?”
“……I’m sorry.”
“…I’ll forgive you since you spoke honestly. Besides, I gave you this paper and pen allowing you to use them freely. I’m not so wicked as to nitpick and get angry over something like this.”
Of course, whether or not I would punish her was a separate issue, to be decided after reading the diary’s contents. Even if it was a personal diary, if it contained something like No. 1’s ‘I’ll kill that bastard someday,’ punishment would naturally follow.
“Th-thank you, Warden-nim…”
“For now, don’t just stay lying there. Get up for a moment. I want to see your chest and stomach clearly.”
“Yes, yes…”
No. 2 immediately got up upon hearing my command. Perhaps because she had a week’s rest, her movements were quite brisk.
And then, dozens of blue bruises appeared on the front of her body. Without needing to ask, the marks were sufficient proof that she had faithfully endured the punishments I demanded over the past week.
“It must have hurt a lot, right? I’ll heal you.”
“Th-thank…”
-Thwack!
“Nngh, hnnngh…!!”
I deliberately squeezed her chest roughly while channeling healing magic into her body, and Geum Dallae’s skin, which had over a dozen bruises near her chest, slowly began to return to its clear state. I moved my hands downwards similarly. I applied healing magic to her xiphoid process, abdomen, and even her slightly swollen clitoris, which had taken more than ten hits from baseballs in that sensitive area.
…Just in case, I checked if this woman was in the same condition as Geum Jangmi.
-Squish!
“Aahhh…!!”
‘…This woman also still has it, for now.’
As I pretended to heal her clitoris and inserted my finger into her vagina, I felt, just like with her older sister, a thin membrane blocking the inside of her body. I had vaguely expected this ever since confirming that Geum Jangmi was a virgin, or rather, had been a virgin. If No. 1 was a virgin, it somehow felt likely that No. 2, her twin sister, would be one too.
I could have inserted my finger deeper and roughly torn her hymen, just like with No. 1… but I decided to postpone that action for a while.
It wasn’t a decision made out of any particular affection for No. 2. It just seemed like a bad idea to tear her hymen without much thought. Firstly, tearing this woman’s hymen openly, when she had been cooperating, didn’t seem like it would feel particularly good. And thinking from No. 2’s perspective, if I punished her without a proper reason after she had been so obedient, it might actually build up resentment. It would be troublesome if my impulsive actions caused her to stray after she had just started listening to me.
‘If I read the diary, I’ll probably find one or two excuses to tear her hymen.’
With that thought, I began reading her diary, turning each page openly right in front of No. 2. It would also serve to satisfy my curiosity about how this woman had recorded her experiences in this inescapable prison.
