Chapter 8 : SSS+ Rank Hunter

Hunters are granted one ability when they awaken.

Additionally, hunters can buy abilities or skills through Hunter Points, but the amount of Hunter Points required increases depending on the rank.

Therefore, the random ability gained at the time of the initial awakening becomes a crucial factor that divides hunters’ ranks.

If a hunter is granted a high-ranking ability with a low probability, their growth potential increases dramatically.

For example, after I selected the ‘Melee Weapon’ ability at SSS+ rank, my stats in strength, endurance, and agility all went up to S rank.

Abilities are generally corrected and increased based on the rank of the ability.

There’s no need for a grand explanation, you can just think of it as the rich get richer and the poor get poorer for hunters too.

The future is determined by the spoon you’re born with.

A hunter with an F-rank ability might never have the time to accumulate enough Hunter Points, level up, and build up stats to buy an A or S-rank ability.

Such a thing would be nearly impossible unless you had a lot of money, carrying around A and S-rank hunters, receiving boosts, and accumulating Hunter Points.

On the other hand, hunters who receive A, S, or SS-rank abilities from the start flourish with high stats, level up quickly, and purchase good skills and abilities to grow fast.

So not all hunters are the same.

A lot of people say that awakening as a hunter is like winning the lottery, but there’s a gap between 5th or 4th place and 1st or 2nd place.
