Chapter 8: A Genius at Making Women Angry
by fnovelpia
“Self-introduction?”
I paused briefly before answering calmly.
No need to say anything unnecessary.
“I’m An Jaehyuk, from Seongpoong Group’s VIP security division. Mid-thirties… currently retired and working freelance.”
“Wow, still in your prime!”
Yoo Jaesan flinched and asked again.
“Wait. Thirties?”
“Yes, thirties. Actually, ‘freelancer’ might not fit—I’m more of a business owner. I run a café in Seoul called Cupid. Not sure if you’ve heard of it. Opened it after leaving Seongpoong.”
Haha, I laughed awkwardly.
A bit of advertising, you know.
“Thirties?!”
But everyone latched onto the wrong thing.
The cast, even the PDs, were floored by my age.
Did they think I was twenty?
I do look young, but still.
I scratched my cheek, flustered.
Best to stay quiet in times like this.
Staying still gets you halfway.
“Jaehyuk-ssi, you could be an actor! Ever thought of modeling? I know a great agency.”
“He’s definitely got the look. Hearing his age… wow, this is something else.”
The cast threw out comments, and I panicked.
This is why I avoid cameras.
Every public appearance, people make a fuss.
I scratched the back of my neck, feeling prickly, like a bug bite.
“Ouch.”
“Ahjussi, quite popular, huh?”
Eunha was pinching my neck like a bug.
Was she jealous?
I don’t know.
After our depraved act earlier, my heart was racing to keep me alive.
Especially that pill.
Its potent scent still lingered.
Seeing me sweat, Eunha seized the moment, clinging to my arm like a leech, nearly shaking the parasol in my hand.
“Ahjussi’s currently with Seong NP’s security team. Haha, we never allow side gigs.”
“Really? That’s a shame. I heard you’re close with Ma Joohui. You know she’s with our agency, right? So it was you, Jaehyuk-ssi. Haha!”
“Yes.”
Some cast members looked disappointed at Eunha’s words.
I guess I do look youthful.
Clear skin, no wrinkles.
Handsome? No clue.
“So, Jaehyuk-ssi, what’s Eunha like normally? I’m curious.”
Yoo Jaesan, holding the mic as the cast’s rep, asked.
They were all ears, judging by the silence.
I scratched my cheek.
Should I say she’s aggressive, loves only me, and is borderline insane?
No, that’d set public opinion ablaze.
I smiled naturally.
“She’s refined, cute, and beautiful. Few are as loved as her. She’s swamped with work right now, super busy. I wish she’d rest, but she never stops.”
“Hahaha!”
As Eunha covered her mouth, laughing, our WWE moment ended.
A PD brought a metal box to Eunha.
A lottery draw, classic We Can! style.
“Pick one.”
“Should I do it?”
“As you wish, miss.”
“This one.”
Our task: “Teamwork! Obstacle Course!”
Oh.
I rubbed my stomach.
Of all things… physical.
This wasn’t good.
***
My prediction was spot-on.
“First task: obstacle course! Can they succeed?”
I eyed the dazzling course ahead.
It looked like a multi-story building with a massive set.
The task was simple: ring the bell at the top.
Purely physical, but my injury was the issue.
If I were younger, I could’ve handled it, but…
“Damn stomach.”
The scarred area pulled painfully.
Running the course strained my body.
Thirty years old, yet I groaned like an old man.
Despite rehab, I couldn’t perform like before.
“Ahjussi, hurry up!”
Eunha had no intention of letting me off.
I was dead weight, yet she dragged me through the high-difficulty course, gripping my hand.
A mix of Golden Bell and Dream Team!—I don’t know how we cleared it.
I just followed her lead, and it worked.
Ding-ding!
Eunha rang the bell at the top.
A cool breeze hit my head.
One hour.
We’d conquered it in just one hour, with me as a sandbag.
At first, I felt guilty.
Without me, wouldn’t Eunha have finished faster?
“First task completed!”
Finishing her shoot safely was what mattered.
Limping, I descended the set with her support.
Adult Eunha’s strength had grown—she could carry a guy like me.
Her physique stood out too, especially those prominent… assets.
She pressed close, adding playful sounds.
Each time, her chest brushed my ribs.
For someone clueless about such things, it was torture.
Like being whipped.
“Ahjussi~ You look pale. Not thinking anything naughty, are you~?”
“N-No, just tired.”
“Two nights ago, you were swinging your hips just fine. Look at that flushed face—you’re panting like a dog in heat without the pill.”
She smirked, stroking my head.
This kid.
I wanted to get mad, but her smile doused my anger like a fire extinguisher.
“Don’t say weird things to me. At least until we get home.”
“It’s not a lie. Heh, people would faint if they knew how many times we did it.”
She glanced around, then buried her face in my collarbone.
“Mmm, I love your smell.”
“Get off, kid. People will misunderstand…”
“Families hug all the time. Who’s gonna stop us? They’ll just shrug it off. Everyone’s too busy to care.”
Already soaked in sweat, her scent grew stronger as she pressed against my collarbone, crashing my brain like a bluescreen.
She nibbled my shoulder.
“Ahjussi, wanna take the pill now?”
“No.”
“Oh? Prefer it sober? I’m fine either way. As long as we don’t get caught.”
She kept whispering lewd things in my ear. I bit my tongue to endure her devilish murmurs.
“Time to wash up. Wait out front, ahjussi.”
Whoosh!
Entering the men’s shower, my legs gave out.
The tension hit all at once.
My relationship with Eunha was growing increasingly twisted.
It felt like… being trapped in an inescapable maze.
Get it together. There’s always a way out, even if the sky falls.
Washing my head with cold water, thoughts of Eunha filled my mind.
After showering, I felt better—physically and mentally.
“You’re done filming, so you can head back.”
Hearing I could leave, my heart raced.
Back at the car, Eunha deftly tapped the GPS.
Whether she’d sprayed perfume or not, her sultry scent lingered.
The passenger seat was sticky with sweat.
Same for me—hot weather, you know.
Not nerves.
Eunha fanned herself, smirking at me.
I checked her input: a restaurant by the nearby beach.
Rated 4.9 stars.
A renowned spot.
“I reserved a spot yesterday.”
“R-Restaurant?”
“You worked hard today… a gift, I guess. Hehe, gotta eat well. My driver, boyfriend, and… beloved husband deserves it. Gotta take care of you.”
“C-Call me ahjussi. Acting all high and mighty at your age, geez.”
My face burned.
I couldn’t stop fidgeting.
“Are you blushing? Hold still, let me snap a pic. Hehe.”
Click, click!
Her mischievous laugh tickled my ears.
My theory: Eunha’s a succubus.
I pressed my forehead to the steering wheel.
The kiss, the perfume, her sly smile.
No way. What man wouldn’t fall for that?
I sang the national anthem to calm down.
I raised her wrong.
Should’ve kept my distance.
Damn.
Lustful Demon, Begone!
“East Sea and Mount Baekdu, until they dry and wear away—”
I sang all four verses before starting the car.
Eunha, as if my prayers worked, just sat quietly, giggling and staring at me, occasionally laughing for no reason.
She’s that calm?
Weird.
Based on her past behavior, she’d be up to something “strange” by now.
The car pulled into the restaurant’s lot.
Eunha got out silently to check the reservation, and I parked before following.
“I’m with the person who just came in.”
I whispered to the staff at the counter. They nodded enthusiastically.
“Of course, sir. This way.”
We were seated at a two-person table—side by side.
It screamed luxury.
Worthy of Eunha’s card.
She was already scanning the menu.
Even her pondering was cute.
Ugh.
That lustful demon lingered. So impure.
“Ahjussi, I ordered already.”
She handed me the menu.
Nothing seemed off this time.
A small mercy.
“Ordered?”
“Yup.”
“No offense, but… did you get stuff I like?”
I asked hesitantly.
I usually ate seafood at restaurants.
Growing up near a port orphanage, fish was common.
I grew to love it. Oddly, Eunha wouldn’t touch fish.
“Of course~♪”
She answered brightly. We stared silently for minutes.
Despite the blasting AC, I was sweating.
“Your food, sir.”
The meal arrived. I swallowed hard, ready to eat.
…
…
…
Eel rice bowl.
Fried oysters.
Tofu and leek stew.
Oh.
All stamina-boosting foods.
I couldn’t hold my chopsticks, my lips trembling thinly.
It’s dog-day season, alright.
The day I get devoured.

Eunha covered one side of her mouth.
“What’s wrong? Something the matter?”
She gazed at me lovingly.
Eunha! You tricked me?!
“Tricked? You’re saying that to someone buying you dinner? It’s free—my money. Free’s good, right? You’re not thinking anything weird, are you?”
She grazed my chin teasingly.
“I know everything you love… and what you’re thinking.”
She swayed her head, speaking.
Then she stroked my thigh. In public—seriously?!
She whispered in my ear, that mischievous, sultry laugh.
“So cute. Nervous about getting caught? I’ll keep this up till you finish.”
“If people saw us… you’d get hurt too. You know it’s not exactly friendly out there. A-And back off a bit. I’m sweaty, I must stink—”
She leaned closer.
“Oh? It’s hot—take it off. AC’s on, what’s the problem? You started this, playing with my heart.”
She peeled off my suit jacket.
“Ahjussi, do you know how long I waited for you? You’re a genius at making women angry.”
This is today’s punishment!
She flung off her blue cardigan, draping it over my thigh.
It was damp, soaking my pants.
“Can I leave it here?”
“Eunha, there’s other seats, why here—”
“Other seats are for people. Can’t you endure a bit? It’s a two-person table… no. choice. Haha.”
After running, she was drenched, her scent overpowering—not bad, but thick with perfume.
I clenched my teeth to hide my reaction.
On purpose?
Possible.
Trying to make me take the pill, no doubt.
No way.
I can’t give in to her again.
I need a buffer, at least.
No, I shouldn’t do it at all!
Thus began my meal with this succubus.
