Chapter 7: Hospital

    Chapter 7: Hospital

Anyway, let’s go into the counseling room.

    As I entered, I saw a relaxed-looking teacher.

Our eyes met, and they spoke.

    “Please sit.”

    “Yes.”

“Would you like something to drink?”

    “No, I’m fine.”

    “Guardian? Please explain.”

    My mom explained.

My mom didn’t know much either, so she asked me,

and I just told her everything.

    “I see.”

Tapping on the keyboard, the teacher spoke.

“First, I think I need to explain.”

It was as if a ‘?’ appeared above my head.

    Then they explained various things.

So, they told my mom to listen to the details.

“First, there are many people nowadays who are becoming TS, so the government simply set up this system.”

    “Is that so?”

“Yes, so they’re providing support funds, education, and even identity changes…”

“I heard that you are the first person to come to our hospital.”

    “So, what happens now?”

“The school will be contacted, and you’ll probably transfer schools.”

    I was momentarily flustered.

    Transfer schools?

    I hadn’t thought of that.

“And with that, you can live your second life.”

    ‘My life is legendary.’

“Come to think of it, you’re the first person to transform so beautifully.”

‘? Don’t people usually become pretty when they’re TS?’

“I just submitted the report, and they said it’s the first time.”

    ‘Ah, I see.’

“First, the processing will be finished within this week.”

    ‘Today’s Friday? That’s damn fast.’

“Alright, it’s done. You may go home now.”

I bid farewell to the teacher, who was clapping as they spoke, and as we left the hospital, my mom spoke.

“Alright, let’s go shopping for clothes now.”

    “Huh?”

‘Ah, is this what life is?’
