Chapter 7: Calm Down, Calm Down
by fnovelpia
“Choose. Take the pill, or be a sex offender. I’d prefer you pick quickly. Hehe.”
Eunha laughed seductively.
“Isn’t there a third option?”
I pressed my hands against my stomach, pleading.
No one would believe a nobody ahjussi like me.
With one word from Eunha, I’d go from “bodyguard” to “rapist.”
Taking the pill was a problem too.
If I took it, I’d… end up with Eunha again. This relationship would spiral into a labyrinth with no escape.
Eunha stepped forward heavily, looming over me with a hazy gaze.
“You know what I have, don’t you?”
“T-The video—”
The video from when I took the pill.
Even silence wouldn’t save me; she had my weakness.
“Exactly. Who’s in control now?”
Her eyes darkened, lifeless like a dead fish.
Slipping on white sanitary gloves from her bag, she plucked a pill with her fingers and raised it to her tongue, sticking it out—bleh.
‘If Eunha takes that pill…’
That’s a problem too.
Today’s schedule had all cameras on her.
The first impression was critical.
If she flubbed it—
It wouldn’t look good.
It’s her first variety show, so they might cut her slack, but the damage would be done.
Eunha smirked like a fox with a jade bead in its mouth.
“Curious about this pill?”
“It looks bad. It’s not that kind of drug, is it?”
“Nope. It’s a fully FDA-approved, legal medication.”
She slowly unbuttoned her cardigan.
“An aphrodisiac. A custom-made product infused with my scent. The only one in the world.”
She rummaged through her cardigan pocket and pulled out a sheet—likely a product manual.
“Kangcheon Pharmaceuticals”
A top Korean conglomerate, its chairman once close with Eunha.
I’d seen him at business meetings.
Famous for fighting over a man.
Eunha read the manual dully, like a textbook.
“Hmm… lasts about eight hours. Ahjussi, eight hours during our schedule would be a total disaster. I heard it has some effect on me too.”
Snap.
She closed the manual.
Approaching me with unwavering resolve, she tucked the pill from her tongue into another bag from her pocket.
“Eunha, ahjussi gets scary when he’s mad. Put it away.”
“Oh? Then punish me, ahjussi. Ever kissed anyone?”
“Uh, no.”
“Hmm… that night was my first too, so we just pressed lips. I want you to take the lead for real. We’re lovers, after all.”
A kiss.
Or rather, a deep kiss.
Her proposal was straightforward.
“Kiss me like lovers, and I’ll let this slide today.”
That’s what she meant.
She leaned in close, our breaths nearly touching—just a fist’s distance apart.
Looking down, her face was shadowed, but her sparkling irises were unmistakably Eunha’s.
The mood wasn’t romantic, yet my heart raced with excitement.
“I’ll close my eyes for you. It’s less pressure, right?”
She lowered her eyelids, still smiling.
Just…
Pull her close.
Kiss her.
Mix tongues.
Like in romance movies.
It seemed simple, but my mind blanked.
Her intoxicating scent tickled my nose, making my heart float.
“Ahjussi, ahjussi! Marry me when I grow up!”
“If I’m not married by then, I’ll think about it. Heh.”
“Really?! Yay!”
Elementary-school Eunha overlapped with the Eunha now.
No matter how I steeled myself, the memory kept surfacing.
The kid I walked home hand-in-hand…
Was now seducing me, trying to claim me.
Just bring her close.
Press heads together.
Think simple.
I focused all my nerves on my hand, but it wouldn’t move.
No way.
Something inside slammed on the brakes.
I still couldn’t process that the pure Eunha I knew had grown up and pounced on me.
My arm fell to the floor like a marionette with cut strings. Dust clouded up from the impact.
Oh, Eunha shouldn’t breathe this dust.
Stupidly, that thought came first.
“I can’t. In my eyes, you’re still that little kid clinging to my arm. I’m sorry.”
I closed my eyes and hugged her.
Thump, thump.
Her rapid heartbeat echoed.
Even if not by blood, Eunha was my only family.
An orphan, I’d carried a grudge for never knowing love.
I cherished Eunha, wanting to give her the love I never had.
At least, I didn’t want her to be unhappy.
Thump—

“Oh.”
Eunha let out a small cry.
Her heartbeat grew stronger, almost overly excited.
‘Yeah, you’re embarrassed too, huh.’
It was just a mistake, falling for her temptation.
It could be fixed.
That’s how I felt.
She relaxed and asked,
“How long were you with her?”
“W-What?”
“How long with Ma Joohui? What did you talk about? It’s not some weird relationship, right? Like you’re into married women… If that’s true, I might have to fix your tastes.”
She bit her lower lip.
“What did she say to charm you? I want to see her face.”
“Just casual talk.”
We greeted each other.
I didn’t know the time.
I’m not a perfectionist who tracks every second.
But Eunha held the conversational reins.
Taking that pill would be irreversible.
I’d unleash my desires on her, chaining myself further.
Still, I racked my brain and came up with an answer.
At most, one or two minutes.
Joohui seemed busy, so I didn’t hold her long.
Just pleasantries.
Maybe thirty seconds.
That was my guess.
“Details.”
Her voice was now icy.
“Small talk. She said we should grab a meal sometime. You know hyung can’t drink without me and cries. H-Hey, help me up. It’s tough getting up after falling.”
I groaned, my stomach pulling painfully.
Eunha raised an eyebrow, seeming disappointed.
Was it my imagination, or did her eyes gleam with amusement?
“Oh, really? Then… two minutes. Hold out properly for two minutes.”
“What?”
“My scent on you faded. I need to mark you properly. It has to stick. Stay still.”
I pushed back against her suddenly strong grip.
By chance, our hands intertwined like lovers sharing an intimate moment.
I bit my lip.
There was no way I, a man, couldn’t overpower her.
A grown adult, trained in combat techniques.
To lose to a kid like her…
“I know your weakness, ahjussi.”
Press—
Her free hand stroked my stomach, right where I’d been stabbed.
The scar didn’t fully heal, leaving stitch marks.
That injury was why I quit security.
It limited intense movement—too painful, too tight.
A few minutes of running, and I’d collapse.
I looked up at her.
“E-Even so, you’re still just… a kid.”
“Ahjussi, I’m an adult. You admitted it too. We were insanely compatible. It was your first time too.”
She whispered darkly in my ear, her hot breath tickling.
I flinched at the new sensation.
Then—gasp!
She ambushed me with a kiss, greedily devouring my senses with her tongue.
Her scent flooded my airways, thick enough to numb my nose.
I tried to pull away, but my recent months of barely exercising weren’t enough—she easily overpowered my weak resistance.
She spoke, lips still on mine.
“You tried to escape, so one minute added.”
“Wha—”
I instinctively blocked her tongue with my teeth.
She frowned instantly—0.3 seconds of that expression—before grabbing my tie and falling backward.
Startled, my words faltered. Falling was routine now, no big deal.
“Whoops.”
“This looks like you’re pinning me down, oppa. Heh, hehehe.”
She laughed low.
Her clothes were long disheveled.
Her cardigan hung open, buttons undone.
Her sweat-soaked T-shirt faintly revealed her skin.
A locked door.
A dim prefab building.
Nearby dust piles.
Spotlight-like lighting.
It felt far more provocative than nudity.
She pulled my arm with her free hand.
My hand brushed her stomach—subtle muscles mixed with the soft, feminine curve.
It swelled and shrank with each breath, an odd sensation.
“Ahjussi, turned on?”
“What kind of girl says such… lewd things?”
I turned my head.
“Oh, haha. It’s your fault, ahjussi. Your mistake.”
Snap—
Her hand on my tie yanked me down forcefully, choking me.
Cough, cough.
I gasped.
Like that night two days ago when she took my virginity—a beast craving love.
This wasn’t the Eunha I knew.
Pop—
How long had it been?
A thin thread formed between our lips as we parted.
She checked the time, frowning.
“Two seconds early. Ugh, ahjussi. No pill and you’re totally bad.”
I spoke to the defiant Eunha.
“Tonight.”
“Tonight?”
I wiped kiss marks with a tissue.
She hadn’t just kissed my lips, after all.
Buttoning my shirt would hide them, but variables always existed.
“I-I’ll do it tonight. Take the pill, I mean.”
She tilted her head.
Always on top of her schedule, she knew.
No afternoon plans today.
After We Can! filming, it was free time.
I brushed dust off her cardigan.
Wearing that in this heat, honestly.
“No plans tonight, right?”
“Nope.”
“I’m always ready. If you’re okay, I could prepare right here… but oh well.”
“We can’t mess up the schedule. You know that.”
“Hmm, true.”
I had until evening to figure something out.
Otherwise… more depraved acts awaited.
***
Thankfully, we reached the set on time.
The other members seemed to be waiting.
As Eunha and I arrived side by side, the director signaled with his hand.
Three, two, one!
Clap—
A sharp sound, and the cast’s faces lit up.
“Here are today’s stars! Welcome to We Can! You’ve already greeted the members, but the viewers are still waiting!”
Yoo Jaesan spoke into the mic, looking at me.
My head was foggy from what just happened with Eunha.
Ugh, her scent was making me dizzy.
I bit my lip hard.
I had to focus—Seongpoong and Eunha’s future were on the line.
Eunha nudged my side.
“Oppa, don’t look at others. Look at me, me.”
I puzzled over her words. Was she telling me to stay quiet?
Yeah, staying still gets you halfway.
My head felt clouded with fog.
The blazing sun made me worry about heatstroke.
Eunha shouldn’t get sunburned… though I’d never seen her tan.
“Miss.”
“Oh?”
I opened a parasol I’d brought, shading her.
She stared at me, her eyes translucent yet veiled—mysterious.
“Hmm, you’re quick.”
She fanned herself, staring.
“Hmph, consider it an honor I brought you here.”
“Yes, yes, miss. Of course. No one looks out for me like you.”
I closed my eyes.
The formal speech, rare for me, felt clunky.
Soon, the first task would be assigned.
What would it be? I tightened my tie.
We’d formed the first team, while the other cast members were still scrambling.
“—So, could you introduce yourself, sir?”
“Huh?”
Oh, right.
Self-introduction.
Forgot about that.
