Q&A + Behind-the-Scenes Settings (Part 1)

    Chapter 66: Q&A + Behind-the-Scenes Settings (Part 1)

It’s a bit late, but I’m now revealing some of the Q&A questions I received previously and some behind-the-scenes settings for this work!

Naturally, there are spoilers, so if you haven’t finished Part 1, please hit the back button!

    1. Do the people Lucia unconsciously bewitches get ‘taken care of’ by Christie?

-> Within her sphere of influence, she handles it. If she feels they’ve crossed a line, she’ll thoroughly investigate them, find any illegal activities, and then immediately call the Defense Force!

(And if they directly hit on Lucia… let’s pray for their souls.)

    2. How many parts does the story have? Is the ending decided?

-> The ending is decided, but I’m still debating how many parts it will run. It will probably be 4 parts, or a short 4th and 5th part!

    3. Where did Elena and Melini’s screen time go?

-> Elena is actually the main character of Part 4, not Part 1, and Melini is the main character of the latter half of Part 2!

+> Actually, I have a lot to say about Elena… Originally, Elena was supposed to be in Christie’s current position.

At first, she would be interested in Lucia’s potions, but later she would fall for Lucia’s charm itself, help her adapt to the world in various ways, and become her first friend.

…Does that sound familiar? That’s right. Because most of that role has now shifted to Christie.

Originally, Christie was a character who was more ‘like a Defense Force Commander’, constantly suspecting and investigating Lucia, who met suspicious people (Elena) and sold mysterious items (potions).

But somehow, she ended up becoming the first victim of this mint fox.

The reason this happened is that as the author significantly added to Elena’s character settings, it was decided that she would be more suitable as the main character of the final (planned) Part 4, rather than Part 1.

In the initial plan, the main character who would have met and approached Lucia first is now treated as the most dangerous main character to Lucia, you see.

    4. Are there no illustrations for other characters?

    -> Uh… that’s the limit of AI…

    5. What level of magic are Lucia’s potions capable of?

-> Well, the ‘potion’ that provided Lucia with a cheat-like physique is also a potion. Beyond that, I’ll leave it to the readers’ imagination!

+> Actually, at first, these potions were not planned to be used in direct combat, but literally for ‘selling’. (Even the title itself…)

But as I wrote, I wanted to write a combat scene that highlighted Lucia’s unique characteristic as an ‘alchemist’ (…), so magic-based potions were mixed in!

(In the initial plan, Lucia’s default was to beat up enemies with her fists and a sword…)

    6. There are two main characters in Part 2, who will be active as the main character first?

-> The main characters of Part 2 are the Saintess and Melini! And, I’m sorry to Melini, but the new character, the Saintess, is scheduled to appear as the main character first!

    7. Behind-the-Scenes Settings

-> Lucia likes cute things. And her own face is cute. Therefore, she is actually satisfied with her changed body. (If only her gender hadn’t changed, it would have been perfect…)

-> Ria initially demanded to leave work on time, but after getting close to Lucia, she no longer feels the need to. (She says Lucia is fun to tease.)

-> Potions that can materialize the system, especially Ria, exist. However, Ria doesn’t know about it. (But the reward team knows very well that such potions exist, and that they can be given as rewards.)

=> This concludes the Part 1 Q&A + Behind-the-Scenes Settings! Thank you for reading this far, and I will do my best to continue serializing Parts 2, 3, 4 (and perhaps 5)!
