Chapter 63 – Yoo Hayeon’s Earnesty

“Huu…”

After Han Sijoon left, Yoo Hayeon was the only one left in the room with the fluorescent lights on.

She let out a deep breath. She wondered why she should forgive a scoundrel like him.

If it were up to her, Sijoon would be tied to the bed right now. But if what he said were true, the one to be disheartened by this was Hayeon, so she had no choice but to send him back.

“How did he get entangled in a situation like this…”

Hayeon let out a loud sigh as she sat on top of the bed where Sijoon had just been tied to earlier.

A rope was there where Sijoon had used his strength to release himself.

She looked at it as his face popped up in her mind.

His appearance had still not returned to normal.

His face made her recall memories of the past as much as his actions made her want to whack his head.

“I expected women to seduce him…but never did I imagine Sijoon to hook up with them first.”

His appearance wasn’t that bad, rather he had the looks which girls would fall for.

But Hayeon had always felt reassured since Sijoon didn’t use those looks for female-related acts at all.

“Of all things, why did that damned monster have to form a contract like that…? Just you wait and come out, I’ll reduce you to a magic stone.”

A contract where he had to get with girls.

Sijoon had fallen for the devil’s words which told him only when he kissed four women would his lifespan be extended.

Hayeon felt resentful that he did not protect his chastity.

“I got rid of so many girls, yet you went and did it with some other chick?”

She bit her nails as she recalled the girls who had clung onto Sijoon.

For instance, the little girl at the hospital back in elementary school who was undergoing a simple surgery or something.

She had been hospitalized for a month and was sharing the same room as Sijoon.

“S-Sijoon… Want candy?”

“…Yeah.”

The little girl held out the candy with a sheepish smile. Sijoon took the child’s candy and put it on top of the desk in an indifferent manner.

Hayeon, who had been hiding at the entrance of the hospital room, approached Sijoon as if nothing had happened.

“Han Sijoon. You’re not going to eat this, right? I’m eating it, okay?”

“No. That was a gift…”

“Hm… I don’t like the taste!”

Whenever anyone tried to talk to Sijoon, she blocked them. As a result of her constant meddling, the little girls couldn’t talk to him much and were discharged from the hospital.

Back then, Hayeon didn’t know why she did that. But when she found out the feelings she held for Sijoon were that of love and realized she had done it out of jealousy, she understood her actions.

Besides the girl at the hospital, there was also the student who was on cleaning duty in middle school who put a letter in Sijoon’s desk, and had kept staring at him during class.

Hayeon took care of all those girls; she was making Sijoon hers without realizing it.

However, everything she did came tumbling down upon coming to the academy, so she did not like the current situation.

“Han Sijoon is mine… I’m also Han Sijoon’s.”

Hayeon turned her gaze to the door where Sijoon had exited.

There seemed to be some kind of commotion.

“Why is it so noisy?”

She could hear a racket coming from outside. 

She didn’t know what was going on, but she heard sounds of people running around. 

However, Hayeon’s thoughts were in a muddle, so she turned off her interest in that.

“Once I confirm you found two more girls, from then on, you’re seriously…going to get it from me…”

The reason for taking the oath on mana was for her to confirm when Sijoon fulfilled kissing all four girls.

When it came to stuff pertaining to Sijoon, the gears in Hayeon’s brain turned quickly.

“Once your lifespan is extended, I’ll make sure you never cheat again. You’ll be with me all day… Hehe… It’s all your fault.”

The reason why she released him easily was to tie him up again after she confirmed that fact. Since once his lifespan was extended, it was possible for them to be together forever.

Hayeon had thoughts of her own.

She would need great power to guard him so that no one could covet him.

Hayeon remembered she missed training today to wait for him. She got ready to head outside to train right away.

Unlike before, there was no commotion.

I was relieved as I escaped Hayeon’s dorm room.

For me, who assumed I’d be imprisoned by her for the rest of my life, there was no better news than this.

When I opened my eyes with the front of me dark and my hands tied up, I genuinely thought I was going to die. However, after I explained the situation to Hayeon, specifically detailing how I had to kiss other women, she acknowledged my words and even forgave me.

Did she really forgive me…?

She wore a look of disapproval as she glared at me, so she probably didn’t forgive me completely.

The door to one of the girl’s dorm rooms opened and I could see a figure of a person from there.

“Ehh… It’s a hassle to take out the trash…”

It was a female student who came out to throw away the trash. She closed the door as she was coming out to the hallway with a frown on her face. She wouldn’t even realize I was there if she didn’t look to the side.

That was if only the wind didn’t blow, making the clump of paper fly and hit the wall.

The paper clump struck the wall and made a small noise.

Most of the academy students had good hearing due to having a higher level of agility than others. However, if they were a non-combatant, their physical stats may be low.

The only thing I could do was to turn around and flee.

Rumors of a pervert hiding in the female dorms.

To prevent that from happening, I cut across the hallway of the female dormitory.

–What’s going on?

–The dorm’s a bit noisy?

Hearing sounds of someone’s presence, some girls also found out that a male student broke into their dorm.

The layout of the women’s dormitory was the same as the men’s, with its long hallways connected like a square.

In order for me to escape from here, I had to keep running, take one turn, then get to the stairs.

I turned around to see if I was still being chased.

The female student was yelling, “Stop right there!” as she ran after me.

She’d probably be an outstanding hero later on. She was quite bent on catching the criminal.

The gap was gradually narrowing.

My legs were still in the state of a middle schooler’s. At my running pace, it was only a matter of time before she caught up with me.

I ran as much as I could using the “green stone” which increased the agility stat.

…In horror movies, a hand would pop up like this and drag you away.

As if my prediction was spot on, I was dragged into the crevice of the door by the hands of a person I didn’t know.

There was no sound left in the hallway…

“Huff… Huff… Where did he go?”

Except for the voice in the hallway belonging to the female student searching for the boy who suddenly vanished.

There was no one who saw the boy she had been looking for leaving the women’s dormitory.
