Chapter 62 : NTR assistant manga unfolds as he is threatened with a photo

It was the day So-eun had to visit a game company for work.

I suggested that we go to the gym another time, but she said, “Unnie, you can do it alone for a day, right?” and trusted me, so I couldn’t say I didn’t want to or that I couldn’t.

So, I came to the apartment gym alone.

I was exercising at about 0.8x my usual speed, but the human body is so fickle that, realizing So-eun wasn’t there to watch me, I got tired faster and wore out more easily even with a lower exercise intensity than usual.

Lunchtime is always quiet, isn’t it? After confirming that no one was around, I lay down on the bench, using a towel as a pillow.

I closed my eyes and was concern for about 10 minutes about how many minutes to rest when I heard a “click” sound that I didn’t like.

    “Huh?”

I tried to sit up using my core strength, but my abs twinged for a moment, so I failed once.

Eventually, I pushed on the bench with my arms and used the momentum to get up.

    ‘What is it?’

As I thought, a cell phone camera was pointed at me.

If it had been a guy taking a secret picture, I would have immediately called 112, but I was flustered because the other person was of an unexpected gender and an unexpected age.

    “Hehe?”

The girl who was smiling wryly and making a snorting sound was clearly wearing a school uniform.

She seemed to be a high school student, right? Why is a high school girl secretly taking pictures of me, ? Is it a hidden camera?

“Why? Did you take a picture of me?”

“You’re the famous Switch stripper, Ruffian, right? The mysterious streamer who never reveals her face.”

“I’m a streamer, not a stripper, you brat.”

A high school girl is already using the stripper insult.

I don’t know what the future holds, but the future of Korea is truly bleak.

“And the face of such a mysterious streamer, oh my? It’s been captured in a photo like this? What should I do?”

She was saying something annoying, but what the heck is she trying to do with that?

“If you don’t want this photo to be spread on the internet, you have to meet my conditions.”

When I saw the photo she was showing me, it was a picture of my face where it was clearly visible enough for me to recognize myself.

Was it because she’s a high school girl that some kind of filter was applied? It was whiter than usual and a little pale, which was slightly creepy, like a corpse.

When you’re taking a photo for blackmail evidence, can’t you turn off the filter?

Wait a minute, isn’t this a completely textbook NTR blackmail scenario?

‘A high school girl who uses the stripper insult and enjoys manga? There’s no way such a thing exists.’

Unfortunately, if you want to blackmail me with that, you’ve got the wrong person.

The truth is, the reason I don’t show my face isn’t because of some mysterious streaming concept, but because I find the curious and annoyed reactions of the viewers fun.

So, even if my face photo were to circulate on the internet, I wouldn’t really care.

I’m confident that my looks will increase the number of viewers, if anything.

So, I don’t care if the photo is spread, but I’m curious about what she’s asking for, so I’ll listen.

    “What’s the condition?”

“Give me a host after your stream ends.”

    “Huh?”

“I’m asking you to host me after your stream ends.”

“It’s not that I didn’t hear you. Are you, serious?”

    “Of course I’m serious.”

Hosting is a function that sends the viewers who were watching your stream directly to another stream.

If I get 13,000 to 15,000 average viewers, any small streamer can get a number of viewers they’ve never seen in their life.

However, I don’t have any streamer friends, and the large number of malicious viewers who watch my stream are those mental hospital patients with a tendency to make uncontrolled jokes and are incredibly violent.

Sending them somewhere is akin to cyber terrorism, so I wasn’t using that function.

I saw recently that my stream’s nickname is a ‘cyber closed ward’.

A place to lock up serious mental patients who can’t be cured with outpatient treatment.

I nodded, thinking it was a perfect analogy.

But why are they fighting over whether my nickname is the director or patient number 1? The owner of the stream is obviously the director! Don’t call me patient number 1!

The side calling me patient number 1 seems to be a little more dominant.

‘Is she trying to use black magic?’

Certainly, if even 1/10th of my 15,000 viewers were absorbed, she would instantly become a small to medium-sized streamer.

However, I don’t think that a normal high school girl, not someone with a messed up mental state like me and my viewers, can handle those guys.

    And she’s a minor.

I don’t want to see my viewers, who can’t hold back as usual and make compliments, get severely punished under the Child Protection Act.

They’re ugly ducklings, but they’re still my ducklings, you know?

‘Mails I’ve received consistently since I hit 1,000 average viewers.’

The hosting request mails that said they admired me, watched my stream diligently, etc.

There were also mails begging for hosting, elaborating on their various circumstances and how difficult their lives were.

According to Hellboy’s advice, I shouldn’t reply, I shouldn’t even read them, there might be hacking mails, so I shouldn’t click on links, and so on.

There were many cases where they sent mails with tricky titles, and when you clicked on them, the content was begging for hosting.

I never expected to experience that in real life.

    “No.”

“But I have this picture of your face? If it’s this and silver hair, it’ll spread like wildfire that it’s Ruffian!”

“Hey, if my face is spread, do you think my popularity will increase? Or decrease?”

The other person was visibly flustered by my confident question.

“……Come to think of it, if you’re this pretty, it’s a chance for a huge boost, right? Why aren’t you showing your face?”

    That’s, because it’s fun……….

When I didn’t answer, the high school girl seemed to have come up with an answer herself, and slapped her own palm.

“I, is it because you’re afraid of stalkers! Or for privacy protection!”

If you live in this apartment, you know, right? The security is really tight.

And privacy, I already recognized you even though you didn’t know my face, right? It’s the same whether I show my face or not.

It’s already too late since I turned on the cam.

    “Ugh! That makes sense!”

The high school girl seemed to be frustrated.

Seriously, did you really think such a clumsy threat would work? Is she a little dim-witted?

“But you, why are you here in your school uniform at this hour, instead of being at school? Are you a delinquent skipping school?”

It’s been too long since I graduated from high school, so I don’t remember well.

Is the current season the time when summer vacation ends and school starts? Then today might have been the opening ceremony.

“I’m going to drop out of school. It’s not fun at all.”

“If your dream is to become a cyber , you don’t need to go, I guess. I heard that the number one future hope of kids these days is to be a YouTuber.”

So, to take that first step, she needs my hosting.

what? What did you say? That’s too harsh! I just want to stream!”

Is that something a blackmailer should say?

“But your uniform is totally a style.”

How can you shrink it so much that it’s bursting at the seams? It’s embarrassing for the person watching, and I’m seriously curious about when it’s going to burst.

If I were a man, I would have stared at it and been arrested immediately, but I’m glad I became a woman.

“You’re really vulgar. How can a person talk like that?”

The high school girl’s mentality seemed weaker than I thought, and she quickly started to tear up.

Hey, hey, hey, are you crying?

“……If you can’t even handle this much, you’ll commit suicide if you get hosted by my viewers, you know?”

This level of language expression is everyday life in my room.

The first impression was not good, a blackmailer, but as I saw her weak mentality and childishness, she started to look a little cute.

Actually, it’s more important that she’s a pretty high school girl, but if an ugly high school boy had been crying like that, I would have beaten him to death.

I would have stabbed him with a knife.

    “That…! It’s okay! I can handle it!”

“Why do you want to be popular so badly? I don’t think a kid living in this apartment would be short on money. Are you being bullied at school?”

Are the bullies threatening her and extorting money from her? Hmm.

If that’s the case, it’s really difficult.

It’s not something I can easily help with.

“My younger sibling is hospitalized. I wanted to become a successful streamer that I could proudly show to that kid! But I can’t do it alone!”

What, such a deep and complicated story?

But I think I saw that somewhere in my mailbox.

In the hosting begging mail that elaborated on the story.

    “You’re lying, right?”

“Tch, you didn’t fall for it.”

Crazy , the concept is too much.

This isn’t some anime or drama, how could there be a high school girl who wants to succeed because of her sick younger sibling.

But the high school girl’s expression looked somewhat precarious, giving off a feeling of fragility that made me feel like she would die and disappear if I didn’t help her, so I couldn’t help but get involved.

“Are you already streaming? Which platform? Switch? America?”

The former is more friendly, and the latter is more ‘insider’-friendly.

Even if you say ‘insider’, it’s just ‘semi-insiders’ who watch internet broadcasts, but anyway, that’s the feeling, so it was natural for me to come to the former.

    “Switch Bang Ha-yul.”

“That’s not your real name, is it?”

    “It’s my real name, why?”

    She’s a really slow-witted .

Her thinking seems to be very short.

“Let’s take a look at the VODs. I can’t host you unless I know what kind of stream it is.”

Actually, I have no intention of actually hosting her, but I can give her some advice on streaming.

She really seems like she’ll despair and die if I don’t help her, like me in the past, giving off a strong feeling that I can’t ignore.

I’m not a philanthropist, but I’m not so cruel that I can leave a pretty, airheaded high school girl alone when she looks like she’s about to die.

High school girls are cheat keys.

    In many ways.
