    Chapter 55: Succubus Queen (3)

“Milia-nim. Are you really going to leave him like this?”

“Milia-nim. This is not like you, Milia-nim. He’s an insolent demon who challenged Milia-nim’s authority. We must kill him immediately.”

Milia leaned her body against the bed-sofa, listening to her retainers’ pleas. She held a cigarette in her mouth, frowned, and then looked down at her retainers.

She cooled her now-flushed face, recalling the past memory that had flustered her. Did he say he was proposing marriage? Demons don’t easily bring up the word ‘marriage proposal.’ That’s because, for demons, a marriage proposal is a concept close to a dead word.

For demons, finding a companion was the concept of marriage by capture. They find a man or woman they like, crush them with strength or rape them, and make them their retainer. Then, they make them succeed their lineage. Therefore, the words that he tried to ‘propose marriage’ to her felt strange and mystical.

Anyone is bound to be flustered in a situation they face for the first time. Milia, aside from his bold appearance, admitted that she had acted too much like an amateur with her unexpected answer. Holding a cigarette in her mouth, she gazed intently at the mirror.

Her face had a strange waver whenever she thought about that incubus talking about a marriage proposal.

    “Right. This won’t do.”

Lost in thought while looking at the ceiling, she got up. She put back on the coat she had been lying on like a bedsheet and said to Kelly.

    “Kelly. Let’s go again.”

    “To that place?”

Kelly asked, looking at Milia with a face full of anticipation. Milia liked her loyal-dog-like demeanor. Milia stroked Kelly’s head once and said.

“We need to conclude this matter properly. Running away at the word ‘marriage proposal’ isn’t like me, you know?”

Sophia didn’t know it, but her hideout was a place Milia could access directly via portal. It was a setup Milia had made so she could personally rescue Sophia in case of emergency or punish anyone trying to set up strange traps.

Considering the magic detection devices, the power she could use here was extremely limited, but she wouldn’t even need to use power to subdue one incubus.

    “There’s no one here.”

The hideout, revisited after a few days.

Milia faced the silence-filled air of the hideout. Holding a pipe tobacco in her mouth, she looked around and glanced once more at the bed, where faint traces of intercourse remained. Along with the incubus’s scent, there was the scent of another woman, not Sophia’s.

“Did he run away? As expected, he was an untrustworthy sort. We should start inquiring around right now…”

“Wait a moment, Kelly. Acting too hastily won’t do, you know?”

Kelly showed signs of wanting to kill Evan at the slightest excuse. Milia stopped Kelly’s actions by waving her hand as if scattering the smoke. Anyway, the incubus was currently in Milia’s hands.

Milia pointed at the empty air and reached out her hand.

“Do you think I would have just gone back?”

That day, right before leaving the hideout, Milia had used magic on Evan’s body. The magic she had cast then was shining from Milia’s hand.

    “Ahh…! Ah…! Aang……! Dad……! P-please be a little gentler……! Ah!”

Alice was kneeling, taking in Evan’s cock. Evan, Alice, and Sylvia were reveling in pleasure in Alice’s room with a special play today. Sylvia had been ejaculated into 3 times in the bathroom and 2 times on the sofa, and was now sprawled on the floor, while Alice, without even taking off her clothes properly, clung to the mattress, accepting Evan’s roughness entirely. When he thrust his cock deep inside and moved it in circles, Alice’s head spun, and she screamed whatever came out.

    “Aaaa…! Aaaat…! A-euk…!”

    “Alice…! Alice……!”

Evan called Alice’s name repeatedly, with a father’s heart. As the saying goes, ‘among family members, love is shared,’ Evan was sincerely pouring his love onto Alice. Alice, her throat choked up by the overwhelming love, could only bump her buttocks against him while gasping for breath.

    “A-euk…! Aaaaa…! I-I think I’m going to…! D-Dad……! My hand…! Please hold my hand……! Ah……!”

Alice reached out her hand. Evan, even while moving his hips frantically, tightly held Alice’s hand and interlocked their fingers. The imminent ejaculation heated his body bright red, and sounds close to gasps spread from his mouth. At the moment he ejaculated deep inside Alice’s body, spreading white mist, Evan felt a strange sensation in his neck.

    “What the?”

It felt suffocating, as if invisible shackles were wrapping around his neck. For a moment, his vision turned purple, and a solid purple chain fastened around Evan’s neck.

    “Sh, shit, what is this?”

Evan’s body suddenly stiffened as memories of his slave days surfaced. Collapsing onto the floor, he stared at Alice and Sylvia with a look demanding an explanation.

Alice, sprawled on the floor, turned her head with difficulty. Sylvia, barely regaining composure, said with an intrigued face.

“It’s the Mark of Shackles magic. It’s a spell that forcibly drags the target, wherever they may be. You can only drag them here once, and the caster’s magic power must be higher than the target’s. It’s a spell slave traders often cast on their slaves…”

“Shit! I know what kind of magic this is! Why is it activating on me?!”

Evan couldn’t possibly not know this magic itself. It was magic he had seen several times right before his eyes during his slave days. Back then, slave traders would hire a mage and then brand the Mark of Shackles magic onto the bodies of slaves who had escaped once, using a branding iron imbued with magic power. Although it was never branded onto Evan, he had also seen escaped slaves being dragged away by this magic right before his eyes. How terrifying was the sight of a slave disappearing while miserably wailing like an ox being forcibly dragged to the slaughterhouse.

Sylvia shook her head with a bewildered face and said.

    “W-well? Did Sophia cast it?”

    “Sh, shit…!”

    “….Dad?”

Just as Alice was barely trying to understand the situation, a purple portal opened, and Evan’s entire body, along with the chain, was pulled through.

    “Woah!”

    “Ack!”

Evan frowned, having been thrown onto the floor like trash. When he lifted his head, he saw the familiar scenery of the hideout and the unfamiliar face of a woman. Succubus Queen Milia and her confidante Kelly.

Kelly was looking at Evan with her face scowling, while Milia looked at Evan with a beaming smile.

    “Ah…”

Evan, who had been about to spit out curse words, became a meek lamb the moment he met Milia’s eyes and shut his mouth. As expected, it wasn’t over just like that. The purple pulse that had burst forth at him was the Mark of Shackles magic. The iron chain that had been bound to his neck had long since disappeared. Milia scanned the naked Evan as if appraising him, then subtly averted her gaze from his lower body.

    “Right. It’s been a while, hasn’t it?”

    “Ah, yes…”

Evan tried not to recall the miserable memories of his slave days. But this situation, sitting naked on the floor, was too much the same as back then. Nobles who dressed them up and set prices, they were people who enjoyed seeing the commodities meant to pledge loyalty to them sitting with such miserable and unhappy expressions.

Milia said with a beaming smile.

“Right, Incubus. What’s your name? We……. Now that I think about it, we didn’t even introduce ourselves.”

    “Evan. It’s Evan.”

Back then, he probably would have introduced his name in this tone. Evan, the slave who could read and do whatever he was told.

    “Evan.”

Milia called out Evan’s name. Having repeated Evan’s name several times, she nodded and asked Evan.

“Right, Evan. Back then……. we didn’t decide on your judgment, did we? It wasn’t supposed to take this long, but I thought about it quite a bit. After all, this thing called a marriage proposal… uhm, it’s a very unfamiliar concept for demons.”

Evan said nothing at all. Milia continued talking while looking at Evan’s face.

“There were many opinions among the retainers too. It’s true you invaded the territory we rule and tried to scheme, and since the marriage proposal was nothing but a blatant lie, the prevailing opinion was that you should just be killed.”

Hearing the words ‘must be killed,’ Evan’s shoulders trembled. He hadn’t had much sex yet, and he didn’t want to die like this.

“Another opinion was to forget about talk of marriage proposals or weddings and, like a demon, just make you a retainer. Anyway, he’s quite a capable demon. They said he’d be quite useful if kept from now on.”

Becoming a retainer was even more terrible. But Evan couldn’t have any say in the current situation. The moment he moved his body, that succubus named Kelly would subdue him, and Milia would change the lenient judgment she was about to give and cruelly torture him.

Evan was trembling with humiliation. He didn’t like the way she looked at him, sitting on the mattress as if she could devour him at any moment. Milia tilted her head back, paused for a moment, and then smiled at Evan again, saying.

“Evan. I just… want to trust you a bit. But if I just let you go, you don’t know what rumors might spread among the demons, right? Demons don’t usually trust each other.”

Evan sighed. ‘The end of pleasure is said to be miserable,’ they say. Is it really ending like this? Is he becoming a retainer?

    “However.”

At Milia’s next word, Evan held his breath. Milia straightened her back. Kelly looked at Milia with a puzzled face.

    Milia said.

“I am a demon who still believes in love. I believe that noble and beautiful emotions can exist, even among demons. Therefore……. I’ve decided to give you a chance. Aren’t you happy?”

Evan looked at Milia with a bewildered expression. Milia smiled, brushing back her purple hair once, and Kelly looked at Milia with a flustered expression.

    Milia said.

“You must prove your worth and your love.”

Her hand drew a purple circle. Milia said to Evan.

“Prove it. Cultivate your strength and prove it to me. That you are a courageous man worthy of becoming Succubus Queen Milia’s partner, and a demon with potential. So, cultivate your strength.”

The magic circle made round before Evan’s eyes scattered into dust. Milia got up from her seat and said.

    “See you again. Prospective groom.”
