    Let Me Promote Myself Again!

    Let Me Promote Myself Again!

    “J-Jin-sang…”

“Hmph, since when does a quack make such noble statements?”

    “My, Jin-sang. So~ cool♡ I might fall for you!”

    “Eek!”

    I reflexively hid behind Luna-ssi.

“Lu-Luna noona! Let’s work hard together! If w-we all w-work together, we c-can definitely w-win!”

    “…Yes! L-let’s do our b-best!”

Luna noona seems to have resolved herself too.

And not just Luna noona, other adventurers’ faces were also beginning to show determination.

Is this because of my shout?

    If so, that’s quite fulfilling.

“…Everyone. A strategy meeting will be held at the Adventurer’s Guild in one hour. Please gather at the guild with any available companions by then.”

    In one hour…

So we have some time left.

    “Luna noona.”

    “Yes! Wh-what is it, J-Jin-sang?”

“Let’s go to Miriana noona’s place first.”

    “O-okay.”

Luna noona and I left the guild and headed to Miriana noona’s place.

After arriving at Miriana noona’s house.

“Oh my, Jin-sang! Luna! Good timing! Help me carry this!”

Luna noona and I saw Miriana noona who was just about to evacuate, carrying a large bundle.

    “Wow.”

We just found out about the Monster Parade, but how did this noona already know and even pack all her things?

“Don’t just stand there surprised, hurry! You need to prepare for evacuation too!”

    “Miriana noona.”

“Oh right! Having our Jin-sang will be a big help during evacuation. Since you won’t run out of stamina, we can reach the next city quickly! Let’s travel through the night!”

“We’re not evacuating, we’re going to fight.”

    “What!?”

At my words, Miriana noona put down her luggage, widened her eyes, and approached me.

“Jin-sang! Are you in your right mind!?”

Miriana noona grabbed my shoulders and shook me vigorously.

“Didn’t you hear properly!? It’s a Monster Parade! A Monster Parade! And an Ogre Champion leading 2,000 monsters!”

    “Ah, y-y-you, how d-d-did you get th-that in-information o-o.”

More importantly, I’m getting dizzy, so stop shaking me.

“Don’t underestimate my information network, kid! And Luna! Why didn’t you stop Jin-sang!”

    “W-well… J-Jin-sang said w-we’re the st-strongest combo…”

“What strongest combo! You’re only strongest in words! You need to face reality!”

    “U-ugh…”

Luna noona’s ears drooped in response to Miriana noona’s scolding, and she couldn’t say anything.

“And Jin-sang, you too! Of course this noona knows your magic is amazing! But there are limits! With 2,000 monsters, they’ll swarm in huge numbers! Even magicians who can reduce their numbers will quickly run out of mana! Jin-sang, you can’t individually restore everyone’s magical power! Then only the vanguard will be left!”

Miriana noona began explaining as if lecturing me.

“Jin-sang, even if you ride on Luna’s back, can you go around the warriors fighting numerous monsters and restore their health? That’s impossible! Moreover, the scale this time is too different! Even if it’s you, Jin-sang, once your magical power runs out, the situation will quickly become worst! Think carefully, Jin-sang! No matter how amazing your recovery magic is, people have limits!”

    “Miriana noona…”

    Miriana noona was realistically,

thinking of me based on the standard of a person with regular amazing recovery magic.

She was sincerely advising me out of concern.

Miriana noona is so kind… I’ve fallen for her!

Well, that’s only… for someone who can use regular amazing recovery magic.

“Jin-sang, you understand, right? So now, let’s leave immediately with noona… Luna too, let’s go together! This bundle has quite a lot of valuable things, you know? We can hold out by continuing to evacuate to other cities until the Monster Parade is completely over. So…”

“Our Miriana noona has it all planned out.”

“Of course. Unlike our Jin-sang, this noona is always thinking about the future.”

“But noona, I’m sorry, but you won’t need that plan.”

    “…Jin-sang, you really!”

Before noona could get angrier, I smiled brightly and said.

“Noona. You know I’m a coward, right? I’m the guy who kept looking for party members for a month because I hate getting hurt, wanting to stay a healer until the end.”

It’s a bit embarrassing to say about myself.

“I know. A total coward and a virgin.”

    Leave out the virgin part.

“I also value my life tremendously. Do you think someone like me… would participate in a battle just to die like a dog? I’m doing this because I think we have a chance to win~.”

    “What, really?”

    “R-really, Jin-sang?”

Huh? Did Luna noona also think I was just being courageous and fighting?

    That’s disappointing.

“Of course. I thought Luna noona would have noticed by now.”

    “Hmm? Wh-what?”

“My magical power, of course. Miriana noona, you’re worried about my magical power too, right? No matter how awesome it is, it’s dangerous once mana runs out.”

“Right. No matter how excellent your magic is… Wait? Jin-sang, you don’t mean…”

As expected of the sharp Miriana noona.

She seems to have caught on to something.

“That’s right, noona. I’m not only confident in my recovery magic. I also have an enormous amount of magical power. Literally… I have infinite magical power.”

    “Re…ally?”

    “I-is that true, Jin-sang?”

“Of course. Why would I lie to you noonas about something like this? Well… even though I can only use recovery magic?”

    “If that’s true…”

Miriana noona covered her mouth and pondered.

“There is… a chance. We can overcome this much more stably. Jin-sang.”

Miriana noona looked at me seriously and asked.

“What you just said is true, right? Not a lie? If it’s a lie, I’ll devour you right now, you know?”

    “Mi-Miriana-ssi!?”

    Miriana noona’s eyes were serious.

    S-scary.

But I can’t back down here!

“Of course! I can swear on my firm principles!”

“…Then it must be true. Haaaah.”

Miriana noona sighed deeply and then asked me.

“Jin-sang. Can you reveal this fact to others too?”

“I never even hid it in the first place. Aside from magical power, I advertised that my recovery magic is awesome, but no one gathered.”

“…People don’t believe things that are too outrageous to be true. Good!”

Clapping her hands loudly, Miriana noona said.

“Jin-sang, listen carefully to what I’m about to say and follow it. Our Jin-sang is a good boy who can listen to noona well, right?”

    “What is it?”

“The best strategy for this city to survive.”

After hearing Miriana noona’s strategy, Luna-ssi and I returned to the Adventurer’s Guild.

We waited until the other adventurers gathered inside the guild.

And after the designated hour passed, when most of the adventurers living in Kellion had gathered.

An elderly man with white hair and glasses appeared.

The guild master stood near the second-floor railing so that everyone’s attention would be well-gathered, and said.

“Thank you for gathering. There might be some I haven’t seen before. I am Feldragon, the guild master of this Kellion Adventurer’s Guild.”

Wow, so that person is the guild master? I didn’t know until now.

The guild master briefly explained how serious this situation is.

And he recited words to strengthen our resolve, saying that the adventurers here would become the flame of hope for many other people in the future.

Additionally, he mentioned that he had no intention of losing and that we should fight until the end, and so on.

“Now, let’s begin the strategy meeting. First…”

What followed was a general deployment based on occupation.

The strategy was for magicians to fire magic at the approaching monsters first, and then the remaining vanguard would step forward to buy time for the magicians to recover their mana.

The atmosphere in the guild became more serious as the strategy was explained.

As the specifics were discussed, it seemed like they were finally realizing they were going to face a Monster Parade.

“That concludes the strategy. Is there anyone who wishes to voice an opinion? If there is a better plan, I urge you to speak up.”

And when the guild master finished explaining the strategy.

It was time for me to step forward according to Miriana noona’s strategy.

    “Yes! Me!”

I shouted loudly and raised my hand so the guild master could see me.

    “Jin-sang?”

    “Hmm?”

    “You’re… Lee Jin-sang, right?”

    “That’s right!”

Wow, I didn’t expect the guild master to know me.

“Alright, do you have another good method?”

“Of course! Ah, excuse me for a moment.”

I passed through the adventurers and went up to where the guild master was.

Oh, while these are all familiar faces, looking down, I see there are quite a lot of adventurers living here.

    “Can I speak now?”

    “Of course.”

    “Ahem, then…”

After clearing my throat, I decided to implement the strategy Miriana noona had suggested.

    Namely…

The Reveal Everything! Awesome Jin-sang’s Abilities!

Kellion Adventurers’ Peace of Mind! Morale! Boost! Strategy!

“I’ve seen all your faces at least once! Hello everyone! My name is Lee Jin-sang! Lee is my surname and Jin-sang is my given name!”

Since I had been promoting myself continuously during my first month here, my voice didn’t tremble.

“At first, everyone probably thought of me like this! A quack! Yes! You probably thought of me by the nickname Samurus-ssi always teases me with! But! I have achievements! That’s right! I have a record of healing the father of Celine-ssi, whom everyone in this Adventurer’s Guild likes! Right, Celine-ssi!”

    “What!?”

Celine-ssi was surprised at being suddenly singled out.

But Celine-ssi quickly nodded and said.

“Yes, that’s correct. Jin-sang nim treated my father who was in critical condition… whom even priests had given up on. Thanks to him, my father is still in good health now.”

“Did you hear that? There’s no flaw in my magic! I have the awesome ability to immediately heal even someone in critical condition! Now, let me promote myself anew once more! Inhaaaaale!”

Taking a deep breath, I shouted loud enough for the entire Adventurer’s Guild to hear.

“Try it once and you’ll know it’s premium recovery magic! Diseases are cured! Bodies are healed! Even severed arms grow back! That’s not all! Stamina is recovered! Depleted magical power is fully restored! Is that all? Magical power is infinite! As much as you want! As many times as needed! No limit to the number of uses! Now, everyone!”

As I spoke again, I felt full of self-esteem at how awesome I sounded, and I spread my arms.

“All of this is absolutely true! So rest assured! As long as I’m here, no one! Will die!”

    Just trust me!
