SS #40 Time to back(4)

The touch of her lips was soft, hot, and sweet all at once.

But Yuder couldn’t fully register any of it.

Because Cordelia’s lips hadn’t landed on his.

They had landed slightly above his eyes, which were squeezed shut as he trembled in fear like a small animal. On his round, white forehead, which was reminiscent of smooth porcelain.

The moment her lips touched him, Yuder’s body flinched.

A small gasp escaped him, a sound mixed with a flurry of emotions.

    And Cordelia smiled wickedly.

The self-proclaimed Black Cordelia did something the Cordelia of this era could never have imagined—something made possible only because, in the future, she had been thoroughly dyed in the colors of a certain someone.

    “Why? Are you disappointed?”

Were you expecting it on your lips, only for it to land on your forehead?

    Yuder flinched again.

But he couldn’t form a rebuttal.

All he could do was bite his lip slightly and swallow dryly.

Cordelia then blew softly into his ear.

His weak point attacked, Yuder let out another shallow gasp and shuddered. Cordelia had to restrain herself.

She knew exactly how Yuder would react if she were to gently bite his earlobe right now, or trace it with her soft tongue.

‘The Yuder of now wouldn’t be able to handle it.’

When it came down to it, both Yuder and Cordelia were born gamers.

After becoming lovers, the two had constantly sought to conquer one another, learning each other’s weaknesses even better than their own.

So Cordelia fought back the urge to land another blow, the desire to score a critical hit and sink Yuder in a single strike.

The Yuder before her was a newbie of all newbies.

And as the Southern Barbarian Cat Sister had said, newbies were to be cherished.

This time, Cordelia’s lips landed on Yuder’s eyelid.

It was just like his forehead.

There was a limit to what one could feel through an eyelid.

    But humans were thinking animals.

Feeling the hot sensation on his eyelid after his forehead, Yuder felt as if he were being conquered—no, dismantled piece by piece. The sensation brought him a sense of both powerlessness and humiliation.

But there was nothing he could do.

Overwhelmed with excitement, his breath hitched on its own.

His heart began to pound violently, as if reflecting his ragged breathing, threatening to burst at any moment.

And then Cordelia’s hand touched him.

    On his cheek, once again.

    It was hot.

Just the touch of her hand felt like a real burn.

    Cordelia instinctively read Yuder’s emotions.

Her current body was the weak, low-level one from before she became an angel, before her level had risen, but it was still her own.

As Yuder had said, her innately beast-like body possessed five senses that were second to none.

    Yuder’s scent, sweeter than usual.

The frantic beat of his heart.

His face, radiating intense heat from the blood that had rushed to it, a stark contrast to his usual coolness.

    Cordelia’s lips touched Yuder again.

    His cheek, this time.

They slid down to press a kiss on his chin.

Yuder could no longer hold his posture.

He collapsed as if crumbling, and Cordelia, like a conqueror, claimed the position atop him.

Yuder’s eyes fluttered open as he panted for breath.

His half-open green eyes were once again filled with a myriad of emotions.

Resentment, anger, confusion, longing, fear, desire.

    And—ecstasy.

Looking down at Yuder, who was drenched in sweat and could only gasp for air, unable to even put up a proper fight, Cordelia thought to herself.

    This has happened before.

    When was it?

Was it when she and Yuder had swapped avatars?

Recalling the old memory, Cordelia gently pressed her body against Yuder’s, as if draping herself over him.

At the heavy, soft, and impossibly supple sensation pressing against his chest, Yuder’s green eyes filled with helpless confusion. He soon squeezed his eyes shut again with a suppressed groan.

    Cordelia didn’t kiss him.

Instead, she held her lips a hair’s breadth away, teasing his flushed face with her breath as she slowly moved the hand that rested on his shoulder.

She moved past his small, thin shoulders, where she could feel the bones, and lightly caressed his chest, which felt more fragile than firm. Yuder’s expression crumpled once more.

    But Cordelia didn’t stop.

Her hand traced the line of his waist, feeling his body squirm as he tried to arch his back like a bow, even while pinned down. Then, she placed her hand on his stomach, which was pressed diagonally against her own.

    It was soft.

    A squishy belly.

Not the rock-hard abs of the Yuder she knew, as dependable as a fortress wall, but a belly as soft and pliant as a baby’s skin, completely untrained.

Cordelia playfully poked around his navel with her fingertips, and with each poke, Yuder would twitch, giving her the reaction she wanted.

    Cordelia’s own breath grew hot.

Looking at the messy state of Yuder, who looked like he was about to burst into tears at any moment but held them back, she once again recalled old memories.

He had never looked this vulnerable, except for that time when he was in her avatar.

So this was new, thrilling, and fun.

It felt like discovering a new flavor of her favorite food.

But it was at that very moment.

    “Huh?”

In an instant, heaven and earth were flipped.

No, her own position had completely changed.

Her back, which had been facing the sky, was now on the ground, and her ample chest now yielded to gravity in the opposite direction.

But her vision was still filled with Yuder’s face.

His green eyes were similar to before, yet different. They were still awash with humiliation, shame, and unconcealable desire, but he was no longer completely powerless. Now, they held a will to fight back and a hint of triumph.

The hand that had been teasing his stomach was now pinned to the ground, her wrist caught in his grip. Her lower abdomen was pressed down by Yuder’s light body.

    “Did you… think… I’d just… take it?”

Yuder managed to form the words, his breath hot and ragged.

As such, there was no trace of a victor’s余裕.

He just looked like a child throwing a tantrum, insisting that he hadn’t lost, that he still had the strength to fight back.

So Cordelia hesitated for a moment.

She wanted to see what this newbie Yuder would do.

They were both at a low level, but Yuder had the Nine Yin Severed Meridians, and she did not.

She could easily overpower the current Yuder again without even using magic.

But still, she decided to wait.

    What will my newbie do?

Will he come at me with clumsy hands and an awkward but fierce desire?

Or, befitting his Heavenly Martial Body, will he become a pro in an instant and turn the tables, teasing me to his heart’s content?

    Cordelia smiled.

There was really no need to ponder.

    ‘It’s Yuder, after all.’

    Her Yuder.

Her true soulmate, who had loved only her through several repeated lives.

‘My Yuder is an unexpectedly innocent guy, isn’t he?’

Besides, the Yuder of this time was a true, innocent virgin.

    So Cordelia smiled.

    A truly mature smile.

The motherly smile of an older sister watching her adorable youngest brother’s antics.

She saw Yuder bite his lip.

His pride must have been wounded.

Not so much by Cordelia’s confident demeanor, but by his own mind turning to mush at the thought of how beautiful her smile was.

    That was Yuder, all right.

    The Yuder she loved.

So Cordelia whispered another reason why he hadn’t been able to do anything, despite having finally gained the mount position.

“Because my Yuder is a gentleman. Just like you told Maia.”

He could certainly fight off a woman who attacked him.

    Yuder was no pushover.

He could even take the initiative.

But forcing himself on a woman was absolutely out of the question.

Especially if that woman was Cordelia.

Perhaps it was the mention of Maia’s name, but Yuder’s face crumpled again. And Cordelia acted.

With a single thrust of her hips, she used her mana to launch Yuder’s feather-light body into the air, then used her beast-like agility to instantly reverse their positions.

    “My turn again, isn’t it?”

Cordelia said, settling her bottom on Yuder’s soft belly and leaning forward. Yuder, his face flushed with shame, bit his lip and quickly averted his gaze.

Because Cordelia’s chest was right in front of his eyes.

‘This is why I can’t resist raising a newbie.’

Cordelia shivered at the fresh reaction she would never see from the max-level Yuder, and mentally reviewed the cards she could play.

One of them was to move Yuder’s hand and make him feel her own heartbeat, but she held back.

The stimulation would be too strong for the current Yuder.

So Cordelia chose a different card.

Leaning down a little further, she brought her face close to Yuder’s, who had turned his head away as if to ignore her, and whispered with a sweet breath.

“I’m going to give you an adult’s kiss.”

Yuder didn’t respond to Phantom Thief Pink Bomb’s calling card.

But the gulp of his swallow, the bob of his throat, was answer enough.

    Cordelia’s lips touched Yuder’s cheek.

They slid across, and their lips met.

    Their breathing grew ragged.

She parted her lips to release the breath that had naturally built up, and Yuder did the same.

    An open passage between them.

And so, something was able to cross.

At the slick intrusion, Yuder’s hips reacted again.

Cordelia gently pressed down on his body and closed her eyes.

She displayed the prowess of a master, one that had flustered even a much higher-leveled Yuder.

    Both of them were serious.

If Cordelia was a beast, Yuder was the owner of a Heavenly Martial Body.

Like a prodigy who could learn ten things from seeing one, he didn’t just lie there defeated. He began to move his tongue.

And how much time had passed?

Cordelia felt heaven and earth flip once more.

Her ragged breath, which had been circling with nowhere to go, escaped her lips, and she could see it.

    Yuder’s completely wrecked face.

But there was one thing that was distinctly different from before.

    His burning gaze.

His green eyes looked as if they were on fire.

    “You… started… this.”

Yuder formed the sentence between ragged breaths.

But it was still the tantrum of a newbie.

So Cordelia deliberately gave him a provocative smile.

    Go on, try me.

    Can you really do it?

Their eyes met, and Yuder lowered his head.

He proved his dazzling, heaven-sent talent for martial arts not with combat, but with something else entirely; not with his limbs, but with his tongue.

    *

    “No stamina, no stamina.”

She wasn’t talking about premature ejaculation in the literal sense.

It was a metaphor, a symbol.

Kissing her so aggressively was a good start, but as expected, the Nine Yin Severed Meridians were the problem.

Just from enduring Cordelia’s fierce assault, Yuder’s stamina was already near rock bottom.

And launching a counterattack in that state?

Yuder could no longer control his ragged breathing and went limp on top of Cordelia’s body.

It was a small mercy that he hadn’t lost consciousness.

    “So weak, so weak.”

His pathetic stamina couldn’t even be compared to the certain someone who had made her pass out countless times for a week straight.

Yuder, lying face down on the ground, didn’t answer.

He didn’t have the energy to, but he was also incredibly embarrassed.

“No response. He must be a corpse.”

As Cordelia poked him and said that, Yuder suddenly thought of Maia and Natasha’s faces.

It was the same principle as thinking of your family when you wanted to cry.

“Anyway, Yuder. You believe me now, right?”

About all the things I told you.

At Cordelia’s question, Yuder slowly and arduously pushed himself up, leaned his back against a large rock, and said, “Not yet. I need to confirm a little more.”

“Hmm… I don’t mind, but do you have the stamina for it?”

    “…Not that kind of thing.”

    “Then?”

“If you really married me in the future… you must know a lot of things about me, right?”

Things about Kang Jin-ho, not Yuder.

At Yuder’s question, Cordelia giggled and nodded.

A brilliant idea of what to tell the skeptical Yuder had just popped into her head.

“Are you sure you want me to say it?”

You might regret it after you hear it.

At Cordelia’s provocative question, Yuder seemed to narrow his brow for a moment before nodding.

    “Go ahead.”

“You had your first wet dream after going to the night pool and seeing Natasha’s chest when her swimsuit strap broke.”

It was a story she had heard from Natasha, not Yuder.

Cordelia said it with a smile, and Yuder’s face turned beet red. He threw his hands up to cover his face.

And just like that, he collapsed as if sinking into the ground.
