After visiting Areum’s workshop with the twins.

After fitting each of the two with their weapons, I parted ways with Jin-ah and Seon-ah without any lingering regrets and returned home.

For the record, I managed to smoothly gloss over the cost of the weapons I handed over to the two of them. Saying that I’d do fine adjustments to the weapons in a week, and we could settle the bill all at once after that.

In reality, I had already paid for both their weapons in full, and what they were using now was just a ‘rental’ weapon until their custom ones were ready.

Fortunately, neither of them knew any dwarf artisans other than Areum, so they didn’t particularly doubt my story about fine adjustments in a week.

With that, the purpose of bringing the two to Areum’s workshop was almost accomplished.

Returning straight home without detouring elsewhere, I first opened the Hunter Lust Management System and sorted through the various items I hadn’t checked in a while. Once I start something like this, I tend to get absorbed without paying attention to my surroundings. It’s better to buckle down and check everything thoroughly.

As soon as I entered the main page, items indicating updates popped up everywhere. It seemed several sections had expanded, including the recent addition of Cheon Jihee to my Lust Management Hunter list. Not long ago, the points I had once depleted almost to zero had somehow smoothly refilled into the four digits again.

Wondering if there were any more points to scrape together, I checked the Achieved Feats section first.

It seemed there were indeed achievements unlocked thanks to Cheon Jihee’s unique kinks. The process of ‘capturing’ her had been troublesome and tricky in many ways, but now that I’d created another achieved feat, it felt somewhat satisfying. And without me even realizing it, an entry stating that Cheon Jihee was the tenth woman to have my ‘thing’ inserted into her also appeared. On top of that, I was slightly surprised that the number of women I’d been intimate with had somehow surpassed double digits.

…I distinctly remember thinking it would be difficult to increase the number further when I gave Eunbyul her first experience. As expected, human greed knows no bounds, and they are animals doomed to repeat the same mistakes.

That said, I wouldn’t go so far as to remove the self-imposed restrictions and become solely focused on the act of being intimate with women. Even if the process of being intimate with women and collecting points was enjoyable, I had no intention of living solely for that. Because in order to build the future I envisioned, I had to climb higher, no matter what. After checking the achievements, the first profile I looked at in the current Lust Management Hunter list was Cheon Jihee’s. I already knew her information roughly, but just in case there was something I might have missed. And Cheon Jihee’s profile, which I checked myself, was exactly as I expected, with no particular changes. Her awakened ability, Giant’s Blow, which she had told me herself before. The estimated points earned weren’t that high, but at least they were rising to a level that wasn’t unpleasant. And her favorability, while still not genuine love, was no longer in the negative. Cheon Jihee’s profile, changing in various positive ways, was a factor that brought a smile to my face. I briefly skimmed over other known stats like the number of first-time experiences (one, me) and the number of times I’d ejaculated inside her. Through her detailed information, I calmed my eyes for a moment while appreciating her relatively smaller breasts. Right. Large breasts are great, certainly, but small breasts on a slender figure like this have their own charm too. After confirming once again that every woman has her own unique appeal.

This time, I finally checked the Skill Unlocks section, which was shimmering invitingly.

…Wow, looking at it again, I’ve really done a lot of things. Each skill leveled up seemed to represent the relationships I’d had with women so far. Especially Shield Techniques and Archery, which were practically skills I received directly from Hye-eun and Sihee, made them even more meaningful. Lost in that sentiment, as I scanned through the skill list, my gaze stopped at the newly appeared level 1 magic.

“…Plant Magic?”

Just by the name, it didn’t seem like a particularly useful magic. In this world where people throw giant fireballs and tear monsters apart with wind pressure, I’d always felt that plant magic seemed relatively weak. It wasn’t a magic I was particularly interested in usually, so the reason it suddenly appeared was a bit of a mystery. It seemed like it was given as a reward for leveling up Ice Magic to level 5…

“To be honest, it’s a bit unnecessary.”

It was hard to feel positively about this magic, which seemed difficult to utilize properly. The only potential application I could think of right now was perhaps binding a monster’s limbs with plants and then blasting it with Fire Magic. Of course, that’s just a potential application, and its practical effectiveness was rather questionable. First off, the mana consumption would be extreme if used that way. Monsters that required binding with plant magic because they were troublesome to deal with directly were, in other words, quite high-grade and dangerous monsters. Naturally, binding such monsters with plant magic would require high-level plant magic and a lot of mana. With the current level 1 magic, it could probably only bind one or two people at best.

Furthermore, using Fire Magic on a bound target didn’t exactly create an explosive synergy in terms of power. Cha Yuri’s wind magic would have been a much better tool for linking with Fire Magic. Nor was it particularly useful for linking with Ice Magic or my other existing skills. It would be nice to use it since I got it, but I just couldn’t figure out where to apply it. Essentially, it was like a ‘chicken rib’-neither useful enough to use nor worth discarding.

“Well, even if I don’t need it now, maybe it’ll be useful someday.”

Spear Techniques, which I thought I wouldn’t need when I first got them, are now serving their purpose well as a long-range harassment tool. And I had also realized something recently during the improvement process for Fire Magic. That even the most useless-seeming magic could be turned into something usable with proper research and refinement. In that sense, Plant Magic would undoubtedly become one of my unique weapons later on. Of course, figuring out how to use it wasn’t something I needed to do right now.

“Tomorrow is finally my sparring training with Eunyoung Noona after a long time….”

The last time I trained with Eunyoung Noona, it ended with an almost 1-to-9 loss, but quite some time has passed since then. I hadn’t just been slacking off for nearly two months, so I should be able to show a significantly improved performance this time. Even if 5-on-5 was too much to ask, I intended to at least aim for a 3-to-7 record.
