Roguelike Dungeon Onahole Collector

Chapter 4 – Floor 1. First Night in the Sewers

The slime blob had transformed into an onahole.

It was an absurd sentence, but humor was telling the truth without any distortion.

“So this magic can fail too.”

Among the logs that appeared when I used Onahole Creation, there was a line saying “The Blue Slime deflected Onahole Creation.”

Looking at the context, it seemed like this magic had a lower success rate if the target had high health.

In other words, to increase the success rate, you needed to reduce the target’s health as much as possible.

“…Can’t use it to skip boss fights then.”

I didn’t have the courage to stick close to a boss at full health and cast a spell that nearly failed even on a Blue Slime.

“It’s kind of like a Fortune Monster [monster-catching game].”

    Squish—

Holding it with both hands, it had quite an interesting texture.

The slime blob I had stuck my hand into earlier had a consistency that seemed like it would flow between my fingers if held, but now it had a more defined shape—like an overly soft, bouncy ball.

“You little… did you do ab exercises because you wanted to be manhandled mercilessly? Take this!”

The chewy, elastic feeling would have been quite nice if not for the fact that this was an onahole.

    “It’s bigger than I expected…”

Even though it had shrunk to almost half its original size, it was still much larger than most small dogs you commonly see.

    『Slime Onahole』
    Fuel: 0/10
    【When used, summons a Blue Slime】
【An onahole with excellent sticky texture that emits a clear, transparent light when illuminated. A small pleasure in the death-filled magic dungeon.】

“This must be one of the newly added items…”

Most nouns in D.D. are written out in Korean, but the reason this item specifically uses English is probably because it’s an element added by the DunGal Pack and hasn’t been standardized.

The meaning was clear enough, so it wasn’t a big problem, but it was still disturbing that an onahole existed as an item.

And more than that, what caught my eye was the text saying it summons a Blue Slime when used.

“Could this be a summoning staff?! Or maybe not.”

A summoning staff, being categorized as a magic staff item, is a weapon you equip in your hand.

Moreover, since skills like “create summoning staff” don’t exist, this must be a new category of item created in the DunGal Pack.

Whatever it was, in the Slime Onahole’s text, I saw a possibility that made my mind flash.

The great potential of the onahole!

If I could mass-produce summoning staffs, then my initial Charm 12 would actually be the optimal stat for a build from the beginning!

“Charm actually has a use after all.”

They must have given me an overpowered magic after all.

I thought about reducing that anonymous poster’s blocking period to 30 days when I got back, and decided to try using the Slime Onahole right away.

    “Come forth! Blue Slime!”

    Boooing boooing!

The onahole wobbled as if it were about to make such a sound and produce the world’s coolest, cutest slime minion that would perfectly obey my commands.

    “…It’s not coming out?”

    Wobble wobble.

Fortunately, there were no spectators around.

“Did I make a defective product? Why don’t I have any luck?”

    SMACK!

Feeling annoyed, I brought my palm down with a snap, and its soft surface undulated with a satisfying sound.

It had an addictively pleasant texture.

“Damn it… what I wanted wasn’t a spanking-loving perverted slime, but an onahole that summons an extremely cute slime pet…!”

It was a moment when tears clouded my vision.

    “Whatever, I give up.”

It’s better not to think too deeply about things you can’t change.

But I couldn’t help feeling lingering regret, so I continued exploring to find a resting place while mercilessly kneading the Slime Onahole to vent my frustration.

    ***

    THUD.

“Ugh… I’m dying. Finding a room is ridiculously difficult!”

The first floor isn’t that large. In the game, it’s a size you could explore completely in about 300 turns.

But now that it had become reality, even exploring the first floor wasn’t an easy task.

Not only did the ankle-deep water everywhere make walking uncomfortable, but the occasional enemies and the sewers—which had grown larger in reality—made this a harsh place for a mere gamer to explore.

    “Status… brief version.”

A room with an entrance that, though worn, could still function as a door, and some items placed inside as if it had been used as a storage area.

The difference from the corridors was that it had raised flooring, keeping out the water that had been constantly soaking my ankles, which made this place excellent. Even though I had drunk water once more before finding this place, my thirst level was still in that state.

My stomach felt like it was sticking to my back, and my exposed upper body was shivering, making me feel like I was catching a cold.

    My condition wasn’t very good.

If I didn’t quickly light a fire and eat some food, I would likely die from various status ailments.

“At least I have plenty of food, which is fortunate. I should light a campfire first.”

A campfire was essential for sleeping in the dungeon. Without one, there was a chance of being ambushed by enemies while sleeping.

A campfire was also necessary for cooking, so the first thing to do after establishing a base was to make a fire.

And until now, I hadn’t realized.

That I would have to light a fire without a lighter.

    WHOOSH— CRACKLE CRACKLE—

The crimson flames, using dry firewood as fuel, rose to become the light illuminating the dark room.

And I, who had created it, dropped the flint I was holding onto the ground as my arms trembled as if I had a palsy.

    “Kuheuheung… damn it…”

Three hours of trial and error.

It was nothing short of a miracle for a gamer whose only camping experience was YouTube videos from his room.

“You anonymous bastard… at least include a lighter…!”

In D.D., a campfire would be created just by using firewood, but now that I had to descend through the dungeon in reality, I had to light the fire myself.

And the difficulty was much higher than simply cracking an enemy’s head.

The hunger and thirst consumed while trying to light the fire were becoming dangerous.

It was depressing to think that I would have to go through this ordeal again the next time I needed to light a fire, but I had to eat to survive.

I rummaged through my bag and took out water and tasty meat.

    『Tasty Meat』
    【When used, recovers 40 Hunger】
【Meat that tastes good. You, who are descending into the magic dungeon, don’t need to worry about what kind of meat it is.】

“To think I have to eat this… there’s no choice if I want to save the emergency rations…”

    Tasty Meat.

Just by the name, it might sound like a high-quality item made from safe, good beef or pork, but such logic didn’t apply in D.D.

    ‘This is Giant Rat meat.’

Not just Giant Rats, but most animal-type enemies dropped Tasty Meat. Even enemies with poison, and even humans like criminals.

That’s why in D.D., being careful about food procurement was one of the strategic elements requiring the utmost caution.

Eating poisoned meat would cause poisoning, and eating human flesh would accumulate karma points that would change certain events.

‘At least since it’s the first floor, even rat meat won’t cause disease or poisoning, which is fortunate.’

The Tasty Meat slowly cooked as it was placed over the crackling campfire where the moisture in the firewood was bursting.

    ‘It’s unsettling, but…’

Still, the grilled rat meat tasted good.

After satisfying my hunger and thirst while sitting, all the fatigue from walking through the sewers all day hit me at once.

But I couldn’t afford to waste time in this dungeon.

Before going to sleep, I planned to research this soft, water-droplet-mochi-like thing.

It’s absolutely not because of any insidious desire to use the Slime Onahole, but rather a noble sacrifice made while enduring the wretched feelings of biting my tongue and twisting my internal organs.

“Even if it’s called an onahole… where do you put it in?”

No matter how I examined the Slime Onahole, I couldn’t see anything like an insertion hole.

“Do you fold it to use it?”

But even when I tried to fold it in half, it would just revert to its round, water-droplet-mochi-like shape.

This must mean that’s not how you use it either. I fell into deep thought.

It was a difficult problem that would require three days and nights of in-depth discussion with fifth-year veteran DunGal users before finding an answer.

“I also need to think about what the Fuel value means…”

The reason it didn’t summon anything was probably because that value was at 0.

Both D.D. and roguelike games in general might have hidden text, but they don’t outright lie.

    POKE—

I poked the surface of the Slime Onahole with my finger, thinking how much easier it would be to descend through the dungeon if I knew even a little about the DunGal Pack’s content.

    SQUISH.

“Oh? Is this why it didn’t have a hole?”

My finger, which had been poking it, suddenly broke through the smooth surface of the slime with a slight resistance.

The inside of the slime, filled with sticky liquid, had a pressing sensation that compressed any foreign object that invaded it.

[The Slime Onahole accepted your finger.]

    “Hell yeah.”

I had discovered how to use the Slime Onahole.
