    Revealing Existence at Minst Academy

    Revealing Existence at Minst Academy

    Monday.

Today was finally the first day of classes at Minst Academy.

    ‘Today it finally begins.’

Yuria, who had been repeatedly training and learning various things from Theodore all weekend, felt her heart racing at the thought that the first step toward achieving the purpose for which she had come to study abroad here at Minst Academy in the Britannia Empire was finally beginning.

Rising early in the morning, she lightly warmed up her body. Then she prepared herself, including eating the breakfast Theodore had prepared.

The class schedule had already been released on Saturday, and because they were exchange students with the status of a ducal heir and a young lady, combined with the incident William had caused, Minst Academy was now watching their every move and offering benefits even in trivial matters.

For example, not only did they personally deliver the class schedule but also provided detailed explanations to ensure they wouldn’t face any inconvenience while living at Minst Academy.

They also prevented other students from approaching nearby and even provided organized basic information about the students in each department.

‘The top student in the second-year Swordsmanship Department is a person named Owen Lawrence.’

She already knew well who was second.

    ‘William Artin.’

That delinquent was second in the Swordsmanship Department.

    ‘I really hate him.’

Yuria really hated William Artin’s existence.

The feeling of disliking Theodore Skyroad versus the feeling of hating William Artin had such a stark difference that they couldn’t be grouped together under the same word “dislike.”

Theodore Skyroad was just an annoying case of a talented person flaunting his talents.

But William Artin, as Theodore had put it, was truly like a piece of filth who occupied the second-place position through innate talent alone without making any effort, which disgusted her as it seemed like a deception toward those who worked hard.

At least Theodore Skyroad, though he committed the “tyranny” of occupying the top position in all departments, was known by those in the know to have worked very hard for it.

In comparison, the greedy and lazy William Artin—it was disrespectful to even make the comparison.

Even if they were twin brothers born to the same parents.

    “Uniform…”

Yuria felt a bit of aversion as she looked at the Minst Academy uniform. She had no complaints about the top, which was a formal uniform that required wearing a jacket.

There was the issue that her chest was so large that she needed a special size to prevent buttons from popping off, but that could be resolved by custom-making the size.

But the bottom was the problem.

“Looking at it again… it’s short.”

The Jeiha Academy uniform skirt was already on the short side, but the Minst Academy uniform skirt seemed even shorter.

With hip development as good as her chest, she had adjusted the skirt to be slightly longer to fit her hip size. Still, it looked short.

The short length that clearly revealed her thighs was very concerning to Yuria, who usually preferred to wear pants.

‘I’ll have to be careful with my movements.’

Reminding herself to be careful, over and over, she changed into her uniform and stood in front of the mirror to look at herself.

She was checking if there were any mistakes in her attire as she reflected on her neatly dressed uniform appearance.

    “Lady Yuria, let’s go now.”

“Yes, Young Lord Theodore. I’ll be out right away.”

Since there was no space for a belt on the uniform skirt, Yuria carried her sword scabbard tucked between her elbows.

As someone who prided herself on being a swordswoman, she wanted to carry her sword even in this manner.

    Creak—

When Yuria opened the door and went outside, she saw Theodore dressed in the Minst Academy male uniform.

It felt strange to see him, with his tall stature and admittedly irritatingly handsome looks, in a completely different uniform from the Jeiha Academy one.

He had an appearance that would probably make many female students squeal with delight, and Yuria had to admit that his appearance was truly worthy of recognition.

‘The atmosphere is like that too.’

Since he wasn’t acting irritatingly superior, he instead seemed to have a quiet atmosphere, even giving off a somewhat mysterious vibe.

    “The uniform suits you well.”

    Theodore casually complimented Yuria.

    “Ah, thank you.”

Though Yuria actually disliked the uniform, she tried not to show it and forced a smile.

‘Ugh, it’s embarrassing. I really hate skirts.’

As she was worrying about the skirt length, fearing a gust of wind, Theodore said:

“You don’t like the skirt, do you?”

    “Ah, you noticed.”

    Yuria didn’t deny it.

    “You’re a swordswoman. I knew you wouldn’t like skirts.”

As a swordswoman, she couldn’t move vigorously in a skirt, so there was no way she would like it.

But since this was the female student uniform, she had to wear this attire before classes for now.

‘Until recently, Young Lord Theodore wouldn’t have cared about such things.’

Whether she liked something or not would have been of no interest to him. But now he was genuinely paying attention to her concerns.

This change still felt unfamiliar, but it wasn’t unpleasant.

    ‘He doesn’t seem annoying anymore.’

Yuria realized that her impression of Theodore had changed.

And suddenly curious about one thing, she asked:

“Young Lord Theodore, are you not going to boast about yourself today either?”

    “Not to you.”

    Theodore answered and added:

“What would be the point of telling you about my excellence? Besides, my judgment about you has been proven wrong.”

    “Oh my, is that so?”

As Yuria let out a small laugh, Theodore said, “Let’s leave now,” and began heading toward the main campus of Minst Academy. Yuria followed behind him, and as they left the mansion area where they, as exchange students, had been staying, they were about to encounter numerous students in earnest.

    “Huh?”

“Were there such people at our school?”

    “Wow~ She’s killing it.”

“The guy… he looks so much like W-William?”

“He is handsome… and has presence… but reminds me of William.”

Voices of students muttering about William Artin being reminded by Theodore’s appearance were heard.

They were first recalling William’s image while looking at Theodore.

    ‘His infamy must be severe.’

It was a natural reaction since a delinquent like William wouldn’t have behaved quietly within the academy.

    “Hey, you two there.”

At that moment, Theodore pointed at the two who had compared him to William.

    “Huh, huh?”

    “U-us?”

“Yes, green hair, brown hair. I’m talking about you two.”

“W-we have names, Charlie and Harvey?”

“Ah, do… do you have something to… discuss?”

To the two male students named Charlie and Harvey, who seemed wary perhaps due to the resemblance to William, Theodore declared:

“Your comparison is deeply unpleasant. To compare me, Theodore Skyroad, to William Artin, who is mere filth spread on the street, is truly insulting.”

At Theodore’s words, the expressions of the two male students changed as if they realized they had picked the wrong person to mess with.

And in this situation, many students began to gather.

    ‘Young Lord Theodore, surely not?’

Now that she thought about it, he had asked her to bear with him from Monday. It seemed that this incident was what he was referring to.

    “Wow, she’s killing it.”

“Amazing, why didn’t we know about such a female student?”

“Hey, hey. Watch what you say! That person is Lady Arsein! She’s a foreign young lady who came to study abroad from Jeiha Academy! The person next to her is her fiancé, Theodore Skyroad.”

Though students continued to emerge, muttering enchanted by Yuria’s beauty, each time, those who knew Theodore and Yuria’s identities quickly stepped in to correct them.

As people gathered like this, Theodore crossed his arms and said:

“More spectators have gathered than I expected. Well, that’s convenient. I warn all of you. I am Theodore Skyroad, the heir of House Skyroad, and from today, I will be an exchange student attending this Minst Academy for a year. By the way, I hope you won’t be foolish enough to compare me with someone named William Artin. I am one who shines brilliantly like the sun above the clouds, whereas William Artin has lowered himself to be nothing more than filth crawling on the ground.”

    Theodore’s words were provocation itself.

    “What? Is he crazy?”

At that moment, Theodore suddenly pointed at him.

    “Hey, you there.”

    “Huh, huh?”

“Did you call me crazy? How foolish. Not recognizing the difference in level with your meager perspective and merely disparaging me. Looking at your appearance, you seem to be from the Swordsmanship Department.”

    “S-so what if I am?”

“Draw your sword. I challenge you to a duel.”

As Theodore said this and took out his sword from his spatial storage, Yuria recognized that he was establishing dominance.

‘Young Lord Theodore… surely he doesn’t plan to continue dueling here too?’

Yuria remembered what Theodore had done at Jeiha Academy.

He would provoke numerous people, and then crush all challengers with overwhelming skill.

By doing so, he imprinted his overwhelming abilities on everyone’s minds and even quickly gathered followers while becoming the top student in all departments.

    “D-don’t be ridiculous. W-why should I duel?”

The male student’s voice was trembling with fear as he said this.

However, his fear wasn’t directed at Theodore.

He was terrified, automatically recalling William Artin while looking at Theodore Skyroad.

It made one wonder what he had done to his fellow students at the academy to inspire such fear.

“How unpleasant. Even while looking at me, you’re thinking of William, not me. To try to cloud your vision of my brilliant existence with mere filth, it’s truly absurd.”

And Theodore said, openly revealing his arrogant demeanor:

“Rest assured. My skills are at a level incomparably higher than yours, so subduing you without injury is an extremely easy task for me.”

“Hey, don’t look down on me!”

The male student who drew his sword while gritting his teeth was instantly subdued by Theodore.

At the sight of Theodore deliberately drawing in a large crowd of spectators and subduing someone who insulted him in a duel, students began to show interest already.

“Did you see that swordsmanship just now?”

“It was instantaneous. Wow~ He just moved his sword once and deflected while subduing his opponent.”

“To deflect an attack like that and easily subdue him. What amazing sword skills.”

First, admiration for the swordsmanship Theodore had demonstrated passed back and forth.

‘Young Lord Theodore, what exactly are you plotting?’

Before, Yuria would have simply seen his character as irritatingly superior and insincere toward others. But now, having realized one important fact, she couldn’t view Theodore’s actions, as he openly advertised his excellence in an annoying way, with the same perspective as before.

She still thought he was irritatingly excellent, and that thought hadn’t changed.

However, she had now figured out from the events of the past few days that because he had a personality where he became very considerate once he gave affection, he was deliberately drawing a line to prevent himself from giving affection.

‘Should I help him a bit?’

Yuria wondered if she should help Theodore with this behavior.

But she simply couldn’t bring herself to boast and show off like Theodore did.

If she tried, she might seriously consider preparing a rope and hanging herself out of shame, even if just for a second.
