Chapter 30 : The door to the world has been opened

“Ami Faction disciple, Seolwol, at your service.”

Her voice was calm, but her eyes still wavered.

I tried my best to maintain a straight face.

I forcibly suppressed the corner of my mouth, which was trying to twitch convulsively.

The people around us didn’t notice her strange reaction.

They were simply intoxicated with the joy of seeing an absolute beauty.

“It’s said that Ami’s Seolwol is as beautiful as she is skilled in martial arts, and indeed, her reputation is well-deserved!”

    Someone muttered.

Seolwol briefly turned her gaze at the voice before looking back at me.

Her eyes contained countless questions. But now was neither the right time nor place to ask them.

I nodded slightly. It was a signal meaning, ‘Let’s talk later.’ She also subtly raised her chin, accepting my signal.

“Today, I will teach everyone gathered here the basics of spear techniques.”

She had now completely returned to her professional demeanor.

The rest of the students didn’t notice anything.

But Yuha Nuna, who was standing next to me, was an exception. She was looking back and forth between Seolwol and me with a suspicious gaze.

    “Now, everyone, line up.”

Seolwol hid her embarrassment and spoke in a professional voice. The trainees quickly formed an orderly formation.

“Ami Faction’s spear techniques are fundamentally about natural, flowing movements and sharp thrusts. First, I will demonstrate my spear

    techniques.”

Seolwol stepped forward with a light gait. The spear in her hand was as natural as if it were a part of her body. I focused on not missing a

    single one of Seolwol’s movements.

She took a deep breath and began to move her body. At first, it was a slow speed, a smooth movement like flowing water.

Then, suddenly, the speed increased, and the tip of the spear pierced the air, drawing a silver afterimage.

A sharp wind blew, and the clothes and hair of some of the trainees scattered wildly.

Exclamations flowed from the surroundings. This wasn’t just a basic movement.

She captivated the students in just a few seconds by showing her skills.

Seolwol showed the demonstration of movements in turn. It wasn’t a difficult action because it was a spear technique demonstration in front

of the public, but her movements were fast, strong, and accurate.

But even that was enough to know that she was a master.

“Now, first, we will learn Rannachal, the basis of spear technique.”

Seolwol held the spear and took a basic stance.

Rannachal was a combination of basic thrusts and defensive movements.

It wasn’t a technique belonging to a specific faction, but the basics that anyone learning a spear would go through.

The trainees all tried to follow her movements, but most of them were awkward. It seemed difficult for those who were handling a spear for

the first time to even balance their weight.

My bodyguards also worked hard to follow the movements. They had basics, so they were better than the other trainees, but they were still

struggling to adapt to the characteristics of the spear as a weapon.

I also held the spear and followed the movements.

“No, you shouldn’t do it that way.”

Seolwol approached me. She grabbed my arm and helped me take the correct posture.

I felt her hand trembling slightly. She was as agitated as I was.

“This is how you twist your body and move forward while turning the spear. As natural as the waves flow.”

She stood behind me and led my movements. Our shadows overlapped on the floor. At that moment, I felt Yuha Nuna’s sharp gaze.

And… Seolwol came to my side and adjusted the position of my hand holding the spear, whispering softly.

“Tonight at midnight (11 PM~1 AM), abandoned house outside the east gate. Come alone.”

    It was night.

After placing a long pillow in the blanket to make a human shape, I quietly opened the door to the yard.

    “What’s the matter?”

My body stiffened without my knowing. Yuha Nuna was standing in front of the yard.

    “I’m meeting a friend.”

My voice was calm. It wasn’t exactly a lie.

    “A friend?”

    “A hometown friend.”

Again, it wasn’t a lie. Seolwol was my hometown… the character created by my friend in the real world.

“Are you talking about Seolwol of the Ami Faction?”

I thought about denying it, but Yuha Nuna already knew.

She hadn’t missed our reactions at the spear technique training hall today. It seemed useless to lie.

“That’s right. But how did you know?”

“It’s not like I have no perception. It was too obvious that you and Seolwol know each other.”

    “Then I’ll be back.”

“Even so, the night road is dangerous. I’ll go with you.”

    This was dangerous.

Because I was going to meet Seolwol, no, Yoonwoo, and talk about reality.

What would Yuha Nuna think of us if she heard that story?

It would be fortunate if she thought of us as crazy b*tches.

She might think we were caught up in a strange religion.

But I didn’t have a good excuse to leave her behind.

I couldn’t help it. I put the prepared paper inside my pocket.

I walked along the night road for a while. Yuha Nuna followed me quietly from behind.

Finally, the abandoned house came into view.

I carefully pushed the gate and went inside. Yuha Nuna didn’t let her guard down and looked around.

As soon as I entered the abandoned house, I saw Seolwol… no, Yoonwoo.

She was standing in the middle of the yard. She had been waiting for me.

We looked at each other and stood silently for a while.

Conscious of the fact that Yuha Nuna was watching, I took out the paper from my sleeve.

It was night, but the moonlight was bright enough to see the writing. The paper had a simple message written on it.

‘The escort has followed, so don’t talk about the game.’

Of course, it was in Korean. It was a language that people here couldn’t understand.

“You’re Junho, right? Is your name here Gwak Jun too?”

“No, I’m Kim Junho here too. Gwak Jun is a pseudonym here too. Are you Jang Yoonwoo?”

It was still awkward to connect the beauty in front of me with my friend in reality.

Seolwol snorted. From that expression, I could see Jang Yoonwoo’s usual habits.

“Ha, that kind of guy is already dead. I’m the proud Seolwol of the Ami Faction.”

As soon as I heard those words, I realized. Jang Yoonwoo was a hardcore TS enthusiast.

Jang Yoonwoo. His favorite martial arts novel was MookX, and the second was MooXNyeon. The reason was simple. Both of them were TS

    protagonists.

A crazy bastard who confidently spouted nonsense that Korean martial arts tradition is TS, and that Korean genre itself owes a debt to TS as

MookX established the grammar of Korean genre literature.

He spent more than 2 hours a day chatting with VR characters designed as women, and he was the one who recommended it to me.

In other words, the current situation was not a great disaster for him, waking up suddenly and finding that his j*ck was gone, but the

moment of wish fulfillment that he had dreamed of so much.

“But who’s the person who followed you?”

    “My bodyguard, Yuha Nuna.”

“She’s a beauty. Not as much as me, though.”

Of course, that was only her personal opinion. If I were to rate her, if she was 100 out of 100, Yuha Nuna was 120 out of 100.

Yuha Nuna looked back and forth between Seolwol and me, not taking away her suspicious gaze.

“Hmm, with this level of appearance. A female assassin who sometimes appears in the s*ave master scenario?”

I definitely told her not to talk about the game as much as possible, but Seolwol slightly crossed the line.

Yuha Nuna wouldn’t understand, but I was still worried.

Seolwol was still scanning Yuha Nuna up and down with a look that was evaluating her.

“Jang Yoonwoo wouldn’t have been able to evaluate a woman so nonchalantly like this.”

“That loser is dead, he’s not here anymore.”

    “What are you saying…”

“But in this back, in this heart, we live as one!”

It’s out! The famous line from GxraX. Before I could say that, I glanced at her chest.

As expected, the chest size seemed to be well over a G cup at first glance.

“Anyway, it looks like you’re living well, Seolhwa-ssi.”

“Yeah. I finally feel the joy of living.”

“By the way, if you met an assassin in the s*ave master scenario, she would probably be from Cheonsalgok.”

Seolwol’s words were a natural flow.

In the s*ave master scenario, there is a very low probability route where you are sold to a killer group, and in that route, you meet a female

    assassin (a beauty).

And the only killer group operating in this area was Cheonsalgok.

The problem was the very fact that she mentioned the word ‘Cheonsalgok’ in front of Yuha Nuna.

Yuha Nuna’s expression hardened at Seolwol’s words.

    “Indeed…”

    Seolwol smiled meaningfully.

I tried to quickly change the subject, but it was already too late. Yuha Nuna’s suspicion deepened even more, and her hand seemed to be

    secretly gripping a weapon.

A tense atmosphere flowed between Seolwol and Yuha Nuna. Both women were masters, and they were clearly wary of each other.

I couldn’t let the two of them fight like this. I had to quickly step in.

“Anyway, I’m really glad. I thought I was the only one who had crossed over to this world. Maybe you and I are the only hometown people.”

I quickly threw out the words to ease the tension between Yuha Nuna and Seolwol.

As if realizing my intention, Seolwol turned her gaze back to me from Yuha Nuna.

    “That’s not true…”

At Seolwol’s words, I opened my eyes wide.

Huh? That’s not it? What do you mean? I couldn’t hide my surprised expression.

Could it be that other people have crossed over to this world too?

“Come to think of it, you were lost in the early stages, so you might not know.”

    Seolwol’s expression became more serious.

“It seems that I was treated as missing in reality.”

“Yeah. And after Kim Junho disappeared from his room, many people who played Pogyu Moorim disappeared or lost their minds around the

same time. They couldn’t wake up after that. Their families went into the room and found only an empty room. Some lost their minds and fell

    into a coma.”

I couldn’t speak in shock. Dozens of people. All this time, I thought I was the only one who had come to this world, but there were other

    people too?

    “Is the mode still there?”

“Of course, it was immediately taken down from the site. The mode developer was also investigated, but… he disappeared after leaving only

the words “The door to the world has been opened”.”
