    The Nameless

    The Nameless

The burst head sublimated into light.

    The sprawled body followed suit.

The scattered light retreated away from Noah and began to gather in one place.

An arm formed. A leg formed. A torso supported them, and a head grew on top. It wasn’t recovery; it was like rewinding time.

    “Hehehe.”

The Nameless One, instantly restored to its original state, wore a sneer as it looked at Noah.

Thank goodness. I was worried you’d die too easily.

Recalling that murmur, I couldn’t help but laugh.

How will that arrogant remark change?

A scream begging for mercy? A plea to be killed?

However it changes, it will be a pleasure for me. Having finished thinking, the Nameless One’s face no longer showed the dark emotions from before.

Even though its head had been crushed and its body twisted just moments ago, the Nameless One laughed leisurely.

Along with that, its presence changed.

Instead of pushing with brute force as before, a more refined and sharpened Divine Power enveloped the Nameless One.

    Seeing this, Noah frowned.

The Nameless One smiled even more deeply.

It couldn’t know what Noah was thinking, but it was clear that she felt uncomfortable in this situation. Thinking so, the Nameless One acted without hesitation.

Kwarreureu―! Divine Power poured down like a waterfall and gathered in front of the Nameless One. It condensed. It took the form of a sword.

    An old and crude sword.

A sword that was a little short and unsophisticated for a skilled swordsman to wield.

But, Luchi’s Sword, which had cleaved the world.

The Nameless One gripped the sword and closed its eyes.

It accepted the power and experience of Luchi that flowed into its body and head.

“Is this what it feels like?”

Swish— A cutting sound echoed in the empty Divine Realm.

Starting from the cutting sound, a boundary was drawn in the Divine Realm.

A boundary that was perpendicular to the horizon dividing the sky and the earth. Seeing it, the Nameless One retrieved the sword.

“Hmm, I thought it would contain some special trick since he was supposedly a swordsman who cleaved the world. But that’s not the case.”

With those words, ―Kugung! Countless swords appeared around the Nameless One. They all took the same form as Luchi’s Sword, which was held in the Nameless One’s hand.

“In the end, is it because he was human?”

The Nameless One raised the sword.

Following him, the swords that had appeared around him were raised.

    “Pathetically weak.”

The sword is drawn. From top to bottom. From left to right. From right to left. From bottom to top.

The simultaneously swung swords gave birth to countless [Sword-force]s. If they had been swung on the ground, they would have been able to destroy a continent, and the [Sword-force]s emitted a turbid light as they carved endless boundaries in the Divine Realm.

Not the Light of [Heaven-Reversing Blade], but a turbid light.

But that light contained a power that was dozens of times stronger than the power Luchi had wielded.

“So, I added a little more of my power. Has it changed a little?”

Noah, who was standing in the center and watching the [Sword-force]s pouring down on her, quietly raised her sword.

And, she swung it. Lightly, as if chasing away clinging bugs.

    Kwarreureung―!

The [Sword-force] shattered. The [Sword-force]s that followed after it, the turbid light, and the old swords were all shattered to pieces.

“As expected, you’re weak. This sword, and the human named Luchi. To be satisfied and die after swinging such a sword once. As expected, humans are such weak beings. But that’s what makes them good.”

As if expecting it, the Nameless One smiled mockingly and threw away the sword, then spread its wings. A jet-black shadow soared in the pure white Divine Realm. From the hole pierced in the air, the dragons’ breaths were fired, and lightning that illuminated even the jet-black shadow with a yellow light struck down.

Meanwhile, Noah’s gaze was directed not at the attacks rushing towards her, but at Luchi’s Sword lying on the floor.

Her face was still slightly crumpled.

Her lips, which seemed to have a lot to say, were tightly closed.

What is she thinking? Such a question arose, but the Nameless One prepared for the next attack without thinking of resolving that question.

The chains that had sealed Tylant in the past were mixed into the lightning. The shadows that poured down like waves melted the hellfire of hell.

Attacks where a momentary mistake could lead to instant death. But the Nameless One thought this was not enough. With the power Noah had shown so far, it thought she would break through this and rush towards it.

That’s why it reproduced more diverse unique abilities, magic, spells, and the powers of those who were called heroes and died and disappeared in this world from its fingertips.

At the same time, Noah said.

    “…Luchi wasn’t weak.”

Noah’s eyes, which had been looking only at the old sword, turned to the Nameless One. Calm red eyes like a stagnant lake. But the Nameless One, who met that gaze, took a step back without realizing it.

Because it felt the abyss hidden beneath that lake.

Dark emotions that cannot be expressed with anger or hatred. Because it felt that it was a threat to itself.

However, the composure on its face remained. It was a little distorted, but it didn’t collapse.

After all, it doesn’t die. It doesn’t lose. It can’t lose. Confident in that, it reversed the step it had taken back. Rather, it moved forward even more.

One step, two steps, three steps.

When it took four steps forward like that.

    “You’re the one who’s weak.”

    Swish―

A cutting sound was heard along with the greatsword that had been swung before it knew it. Noah’s voice echoed over it.

    “[Heaven-Defying].”

A boundary was drawn in the Divine Realm.

A boundary that was different from the one the Nameless One had drawn. Following it, the Nameless One’s body was divided into left and right.

And, ―Crack. A crack appeared in the Divine Realm.

    Only for a moment.

At the same time as the Nameless One’s body was regenerating, the crack that had been carved into the Divine Realm was quickly repaired.

In the quiet silence, the Nameless One’s eyes turned to the place where the crack had been just a moment ago.

    What on earth just happened?

Its thoughts hadn’t stopped. Its consciousness hadn’t stopped either, of course.

It saw it clearly with its own two eyes, and felt it with its whole body.

Even so, the Nameless One couldn’t accept what had just happened.

The Divine Realm, was almost broken?

At the same time as that question came to mind.

    Tu Kwa Ang―!

With an intense burst of sound, the Nameless One’s body was pushed back. This time, it didn’t burst or shatter like before. Because it had wrapped its body in more than ten pairs of wings to protect it. But that didn’t mean there was no impact.

    “…Ahaha.”

The Nameless One’s smile, as it spread the wings that had been wrapped around its body, was tinged with annoyance.

It was unpleasant that a mere human sword had damaged the Divine Realm.

So, it decided to use a little more power.

It would take some time to recover the consumed power, but it was nothing compared to the pleasure of breaking that arrogance.

“I was going to play with you a little more. It’s a shame.”

With a bitter smile, ―Jjeoeong! Something unknown struck Noah’s body.

Noah’s body, which had reached right in front of the Nameless One, rolled across the floor. Blood poured from her tightly closed lips.

She spat out the pooled blood. She wiped the blood flowing from the corner of her mouth. After catching her breath for a moment, Noah hurriedly moved away. At the same time, Udeudeuk―! The ground in the place where she had been standing just now soared up.

She raised her greatsword. Kaang―! An intangible force, swung like a giant hammer, struck the greatsword.

    “Heu, eup…!”

She twisted her waist to push back the heavy force that had landed on the greatsword. And, she scattered the greatsword with all her might.

    Kwa Ga Ga Gag―!

The invisible and unfelt force was swept away by the swung greatsword. But there was no time to catch her breath.

    “Ahaha!”

The Nameless One, who laughed refreshingly, waved its hand.

Following that movement, the space was distorted. The distance between the two, who had been far apart, was instantly narrowed. And there, the Nameless One’s fist was extended.

Kwajik— A straight punch that pierced her abdomen without any warning.

As a result, the breath that Noah had been holding back burst out of her mouth.

Seeing that, the Nameless One burst into laughter as if it was enjoying it, and swung its wings. Kwaaaang―! Dozens of pairs of wings, gathered like fists, struck Noah’s body. The body, which had been thrown out powerlessly, was slammed into the ground.

    And, again.

The Nameless One waved its hand.

    “How is it?”

Noah, who had been slammed into the ground, was standing in front of the Nameless One before she knew it.

“This is the real power of the Divine Power that Lilith had.”

Pababat— Feathers shot like awls were stabbed into Noah’s arms and legs. Following that, the soaring Divine Power struck her abdomen, and chains that fell from the sky, chains with thorns, entangled Noah’s entire body.

    “The power to manipulate time.”

Pudeuk— The chains interlock. Bright red blood seeped out through the gaps. A breath that was exhaled as if it was blocked and painful. Fading pulse. Soon, the Nameless One’s hand grabbed Noah’s hair.

“How dare, humans, no, mortals can’t even touch or even look at, the real divinity?”

It roughly lifted Noah’s limp head. At the same time, the smile disappeared from the Nameless One’s face.

    “…So, that’s how it was.”

The face that should have been stained with pain.

Was soaked with a bright smile.

“So, ‘I’ could… turn back time.”

    “…What―”

    The Nameless One’s intuition screamed.

Its instincts shouted. Let go of that hand right now.

Immediately, the Nameless One tried to let go of its hand and step back.

    But.

Swish― Noah’s greatsword was swung faster than the Nameless One could step back.

Thud. Something fell off from the Nameless One’s right side.

    It lowered its gaze.

    There was a severed arm.

The cross-section where the arm had been cut off was visible.

The severed arm did not sublimate into light.

The severed cross-section did not regenerate the arm.

    “Tell me in advance…”

With trembling eyes, it looked at the place where the voice had been heard.

“It just… hurts for no reason…”

Noah, bleeding and dragging her greatsword, was seen approaching.

Red eyes looking at itself were seen.

The Nameless One, who met those eyes.

As before, it stepped back, and recalled the emotions from before.

    It was fear.

    And.

    It was terror.
