Chapter 25 Collision with the S-Class 6th Inquisitor
by Afuhfuihgs[Frozen Heart]
Now a collapsed guild of Yoo Eun-ha, which once maintained an undisputed #1 position.
It’s true that [Frozen Heart] was #1 almost entirely due to the existence of the unique S-class hunter Yoo Eun-ha.
But that doesn’t mean [Frozen Heart] just sat idle, relying only on Yoo Eun-ha.
If you want to wear the crown, you must bear its weight.
Not just Yoo Eun-ha, but all guild members did their best to maintain the #1 guild position.
Most of their efforts were invested in supporting Yoo Eun-ha and her abilities.
But some people did special things.
Specifically, monitoring and hindering other large guilds.
Even though [Frozen Heart] maintained its #1 position because of Yoo Eun-ha.
There was a simple question anyone could answer with a little thought.
Could the three major guilds combine to surpass [Frozen Heart]?
The answer was obvious.
Definitely YES.
No matter how outstanding an S-class Yoo Eun-ha was, if other S-class hunters formed an alliance and used numerical superiority, [Frozen Heart] would lose its #1 position.
So one of [Frozen Heart]’s tasks was not just supporting Yoo Eun-ha, but something more important.
That was gathering information to prevent the three major guilds from ever uniting, and sowing discord between them.
And the person who handled this task was me, Yoo Eun-ha’s manager, which is why I can say I know [The Order] quite well.
I could guess about their hidden secret base, and where they might have hidden Si-eun.
And the place I suspected was… a hotel owned by [The Order].
“One suite room, for overnight stay.”
“Ah, two of you, I see.”
“…”
I arrived at the hotel with Park Jin-ha.
After handing the card to the receptionist, I rented a room.
We headed to the elevator.
“…”
An awkward silence filled the elevator.
Looking sideways, I saw Park Jin-ha’s face was quite red.
“Si… Si-woo-nim.”
“Don’t misunderstand. I’m just saying this to prevent any unnecessary thoughts.”
“Oh… No! Of course I won’t misunderstand…!”
Certainly, a situation where a man and woman come to a hotel alone is bound to be embarrassing.
Park Jin-ha is just 17, and this is probably her first time in a hotel alone with a man.
Naturally, she would be embarrassed.
But I had already told her beforehand that the Order has a hidden floor in the hotel basement.
Even knowing this, she still seemed very shy.
“Ah, well.”
I found her cute, but not in any inappropriate way.
Even if Park Jin-ha has an impressive figure, at 17, she’s still a child.
To me, she’s just like a younger sister, just like Si-eun.
And most importantly, we’re not here to play.
I hoped she’d maintain a sense of urgency given the situation.
We’re here to rescue Si-eun.
Ding~
The elevator stopped.
We arrived at the basement 1st floor.
Tap tap.
The dark, long corridor of the hotel’s basement.
I led the way, and Park Jin-ha followed.
My destination was the machine management room.
Walking through the long corridor, we reached the hotel’s machine management room.
This was the passage to [The Order’s basement].
“Who are you? This area is not per…”
As we arrived, staff in suits began to guard against us, but Park Jin-ha quickly subdued them one by one.
Thud. Thud. Thud.
“Si-woo-nim. I’ve taken care of them all.”
“Good job.”
It took mere seconds to suppress 5 agents.
Definitely, S-class is different.
I gave Park Jin-ha a slight compliment.
“Wh-what!”
Hearing my praise, Park Jin-ha looked slightly pleased.
She seemed to enjoy being complimented.
I wanted to compliment her more, but given the situation, there was no time.
I could only think about rescuing Si-eun.
“The password is definitely…”
I looked at the keyboard in the machine management room.
The password to the Order’s basement that I discovered during my time at [Frozen Heart].
Beep beep beep.
I hesitated for a moment, unable to recall it, but then remembered.
I typed the password.
Ding~
An authentication screen appeared.
Rumble…
A hidden door opened beside the machine room.
Stairs leading to the basement were revealed.
“Wow…!!!”
Seeing this, Park Jin-ha’s eyes sparkled.
Her expression showed she’d discovered something incredibly fascinating.
It was indeed something to be amazed by.
“Let’s go quickly.”
I led the way down the stairs, with Park Jin-ha following.
Tap tap.
It was a long staircase.
After descending the long stairs for several minutes, we arrived at the Order’s basement.
A dark basement filled with multiple rooms.
It resembled a medieval dungeon.
No matter how you thought about it, such a place seemed impossible in a hotel basement.
“Such a place really exists… I can’t believe it even seeing it.”
“There are even more surprising places.”
Park Jin-ha looked around, her face showing astonishment.
I answered her calmly.
While the Order was unique, large guilds typically had a place like this.
“Jin-ha, do you remember the operation I explained earlier?”
“Yes…! Si-woo-nim.”
Now was the time to find Si-eun.
I asked if she remembered the plan, and naturally, she did.
Actually, the plan was quite simple.
I would create a distraction here, drawing attention, while Park Jin-ha searches around and finds Si-eun for escape.
That’s all. A very straightforward plan.
“Jin-ha, I’m counting on you.”
“Yes… Of course. I’ll definitely rescue Si-eun.”
“Can I trust you?”
“Absolutely!!!”
Park Jin-ha clenched her fists, expressing her determination.
She seemed slightly excited, but still very reliable.
Regardless, Park Jin-ha is an S-class hunter.
I was certain she could find Si-eun.
“Let’s start.”
I pulled out my hidden weapon.
Park Jin-ha began preparing too.
The war had begun.
Puff~
ㅡ ㅡ ㅡ
In the basement of the Order’s hotel.
In a room labeled “Inquisitor’s Room”, a man was laughing.
“Kik kik kik kek…”
A muscular, red-haired man was sucking his fingers and laughing.
His fingers were covered in white powder.
The white powder called drugs.
After laughing and consuming for a while, the man had to sober up.
“Ah… Give me… Give me more drugs…!”
Because his drugs had run out.
The man began to look miserable.
And then he cried out almost like a scream.
But he couldn’t obtain more drugs.
“Give me the drugs RIGHT NOW!!!!!!!”
So this time, he spoke with rage.
Boom. Boom. Boom.
The muscular, red-haired man’s rage-filled fists struck the floor.
Three clear fist marks were etched on the ground.
While the man was venting his frustration, the iron door of the Inquisitor’s Room opened.
“Inquisitor. Big trouble. Unknown intruders have come. Enemies are right at the door…!!!”
An ordinary member of the Order.
He informed the Inquisitor of the current situation.
Two unidentified enemies, with the male one right in front of them.
“Shut up!!!!!!”
But the Inquisitor was not interested in them now.
What was important to him was only drugs.
“Eek… I’m sorry…”
Before his thunderous roar, the member could only cover his ears and tremble.
“There are no drugs right now!!!! Is that important right now…? No…”
The Inquisitor was yelling at the member when suddenly a good idea struck him.
“Kiki gik kik gik kek… If I take down the intruders, the Saint will give me drugs. Kiki kek gik kik.”
For the Inquisitor, drugs were something the Saint gave when he did good deeds.
Defeating intruders counted as a good deed.
So he concluded that by defeating the intruders, he could get drugs.
The Inquisitor began laughing happily.
Boom!
He decided to eliminate the intruders.
And he broke through the wall.
“So you’re the enemy… Kiki kiki kek.”
“What’s with this drug addict?”
The Inquisitor faced Si-woo.
Si-woo looked at the Inquisitor with a disgusted expression.
“I am the Inquisitor of [The Order]. The S-class 6th ranked man… Kik kik. Intruder… Kik kik. Who are you? Kiki kek.”
The Inquisitor laughed while clenching his fists.
And prepared for battle.
“Hmm… So.”
Si-woo drew his sword in response.
“I’m Lee Si-woo. A Hero…”
And with a slightly embarrassed line.
The collision between the S-class 6th Inquisitor and Si-woo began.
