Chapter 198: Wolf, Alexander, Mobius (4)
by Afuhfuihgs
Petunia Titi was able to reach the banquet hall entrance through a perfect strategy. Hearing the lewd music and the clatter of dishes coming from beyond the banquet hall, she sighed deeply. Alexander, who was once a Hero and Saint, felt like a world away.
As Petunia Titi tried to open the banquet hall door, she noticed that the 3rd floor had a very high ceiling, with the beams connecting the roof fully exposed instead of separate walls. The 4th and 3rd floors formed a duplex structure, and the chandelier hanging from the banquet hall ceiling had its ropes extending up to the 4th floor.
Giving up on opening the door, Petunia Titi leaped forcefully towards the ceiling. As she clung like a spider to a ceiling pillar, stealthily crawling forward, loud laughter echoed from the banquet hall.
Alexander was seated at the head of a huge table. He had become much more corpulent than during his days as part of the Hero’s party, his face glistening with greed. Even at the funeral, Petunia Titi could barely recognize Alexander.
Although his face had become thicker and greasier, that lewd face and his gluttonous eating habits were unmistakably Alexander’s and no one else’s. With a mouthful of meat, Alexander shouted.
“By the way, it’s quite disappointing that not a single one of the newly appointed High Priests has shown up. What is this? They should naturally come to the banquet, get to know each other, become friendly, and enjoy the pleasures they should be enjoying.”
A man who looked like a High Priest nodded. His face was gaunt, but his body was as plump as Alexander’s. He looked like a head sticking out of a sack, making Petunia Titi feel utterly uncomfortable.
“That’s right. Even if the atmosphere isn’t great, isn’t Saint Alexander here right now? They should naturally unite under Saint Alexander’s name and navigate these difficult times, but instead, they pour cold water on things? They are truly wicked scoundrels.”
The priests nodded. Alexander, laughing heartily, shoveled food into his mouth again. Like a broom sweeping trash into a dustpan, he dragged dishes over all at once, stuffing them greedily into his mouth. Rolling his eyes and shaking his body violently, with his mouth smeared in sauce, he panted, then pushed aside a plate as greasy as his own face and burped.
Then, like a pig imitating Saint Alexander, he wiped his face with a towel.
“Saint-nim. That priestess who was recently promoted in Ithaca, Ernrich Lumia, wasn’t it? I quite like her.”
A priest sipping wine said. He was pretending to be refined and dignified, but with one hand, he was groping the buttocks of a serving woman.
When he mentioned Ernrich Lumia’s name, another priest sitting there shook his head and said.
“Ah, that priestess is trouble if you mess with her. She was so strict and inflexible that she was even demoted, wasn’t she? After dealing with demons in that rural village, she even caught some huge demon and managed to climb back up. Messing with her will cause problems. We just need to get rid of her. If a woman like that holds a position similar to ours, she’ll clearly interfere with everything we do.”
Petunia Titi was dumbfounded. They were now plotting to eliminate a priestess with an upright character, who had captured demons. The other priests agreed with his opinion.
“That’s right. That woman is apparently becoming a focal point for other priests, right? If things continue like this, it might become difficult for us to gather like this.”
As if corruption was the natural order of things, the conversation flowed. Alexander merely nodded along.
“They might be gathering strength now, but later they’ll likely charge head-on. We need to frame them for some crime and push them out decisively.”
One of the priests said with a laugh. They considered framing an innocent person as perfectly normal.
“It would be great if a powerful demon appeared. We could push Priestess Lumia into it and get her killed, right? After all, demons are no match for our Saint Alexander.”
Petunia Titi looked at Alexander. Although Alexander and she didn’t make eye contact, she believed Alexander still retained the sense of responsibility or duty befitting a Hero. That priest’s current remark had crossed the line.
In reality, no matter what they fought for, wasn’t the banner they waved ‘the salvation of humanity’? Wasn’t that the very reason Alexander and she had ground their teeth and killed the Demon King?
Alexander.
Alexander.
Petunia silently called his name. Facing the Saint, she was praying to God. Alexander stared intently at the priest, and his lips twitched.
“Hahahahahahaha!”
Then Alexander laughed loudly, nodded, and drank wine by the bucketful. For him, who had been indulging in women and drink rather than refinement since childhood, a wine glass was a luxury.
Alexander shouted, laughing.
“Ah, that’s right! Because I can kill them all! Ughahahahaha!”
“Hahahahahaha!”
“Hahahahahaha!”
Laughter echoed from all around. Petunia Titi had to hold onto her sanity. If she let her guard down even slightly, she felt like she would get dizzy and collapse. She held onto the pillar, bit her lip, and held back tears.
“Now, what are you all doing! Bring the women!”
As the priest shouted, the doors on either side opened. From there, scantily clad women showcasing seductive dance moves approached the priests. Some women eagerly clung to the priests, while others hesitated and backed away.
The priest twitched his nose and fondled the woman’s breasts.
“Aah, Priest-nim-! When are you going to give me the house you promised me? You just keep touching my body like this every day.”
The woman acted coy, whispering sweetly to the priest, and the priest nodded with a goofy grin.
“Oh yes, sure. There’s a house coming up for an heresy trial this time. We’ll find that guy guilty and I’ll give the house to you.”
“Wow! Priest-nim is the best!”
The woman put on a happy expression and started unbuttoning the priest’s pants. The priest’s face flushed with ecstatic pleasure, and his eyes rolled back.
“Ooooooh! Uooooooh! Y-yes! Eung-hoooooooh!”
He wasn’t the only one moaning. In a corner, with their priestly robes discarded on the floor, an orgy was taking place; some were spreading honey on women, or pouring drinks on them while enjoying themselves.
Alexander stepped back and beckoned to a woman trying to cover herself.
“Come here.”
“….Yes.”
The woman hesitantly approached Alexander. Alexander’s massive frame seemed capable of swallowing her whole. He stroked her hair and whispered.
“You need to move more sensually and actively. Huh? Whether your father will be found innocent or guilty depends on me. Got it?”
“Ah……”
Alexander spoke in a stern tone. The priests thought his voice sounded just like when he recited prayers.
“Now, dance. Push your breasts together. Shake your hips more vulgarly!”
“Ah, ahh……!”
The woman was awkwardly mimicking embarrassing movements she had never done before. Beside her, a prostitute, already accustomed to this, provocatively swayed her body, seemingly on display, drawing the priests’ attention.
“How is it, Priest-nim? Like this? Or like this?”
“Ugh……!”
The woman shed pathetic tears, her face blushing. In a space more opulent than any other, this woman danced in the most wretched state imaginable. Alexander, watching her clumsy and stiff dance moves intently, reached out his hand, like a saint would.
Fear crept into the woman’s face as she looked at his palm, as large as a cauldron lid. She trembled uncontrollably, backing away, and said with tear-filled eyes.
“P-please spare me…. I, I did wrong……”
Alexander scoffed and asked.
“Did I hit you or something? Huh? Since you ‘volunteered’ to come here and ‘serve’, shouldn’t you be doing better? Must you ruin the mood?”
“Th-that’s……! I mean……!”
A choked voice.
Alexander’s expression subtly twisted.
The sordid priests shrieked, lost in their own ecstasy.
Petunia Titi couldn’t bear to watch this scene any longer. She leaped with all her might towards the table.
KUNG!
With a heavy crash, the table split in two, food splattered everywhere, the women screamed, and the priests screamed while trying to hide their vile bodies.
Alexander slowly turned his head, surprise dawning on his face.
It was because someone who shouldn’t have been there had flown in like a butterfly.
“Pe, Petunia……!”
Petunia Titi said, brushing her hair back.
“Let’s talk.”
