    Let Me Bestow My Teachings

    Let Me Bestow My Teachings

    “Wow.”

Yuria let out a slight exclamation of admiration as she looked at the food spread out on the table.

Chicken satay with peanut sauce, seafood khao pad, and several vegetable dishes were now placed on her table.

Yuria, who had planned to get by with preserved food for a few days and then either order food or buy ingredients from the nearby market to make simple meals herself, had never imagined that she would have such a decent meal today.

    “Thank you for the meal.”

Saying that, she picked up her spoon and first tasted a little bit of the fried rice (khao pad) containing various seafood including shrimp.

    “Delicious…”

A slight exclamation of admiration escaped from her mouth. At her words, Theodore, who was sitting across from her at the table, smiled as if it were a matter of course and said:

“Of course it is. Because I made it.”

Yuria couldn’t refute Theodore’s arrogant statement this time.

Honestly speaking, she would not have been able to make food like this.

“Come to think of it, Lord Theodore is famous for being good at cooking, right?”

“There was no particular need to announce it, but it naturally became known. It’s like how a dazzling light inevitably leaks through even among clouds.”

To be precise, it became famous because he properly fried dishes that the academy chef had fried incorrectly, and corrected wrong seasoning combinations.

    “…I have to admit this.”

While eating, Yuria realized that this was actually the first time she had eaten a meal where Theodore took full responsibility for an entire meal like this.

Although they were engaged, they certainly didn’t have a good relationship, even in empty words.

She disliked his attitude of treating her as if he were acting, only within a set framework.

‘I still dislike it… but it seems a bit better?’

It was surprising, thinking about it now, that Theodore had prepared dinner for her. Normally, he would never have done anything beyond his set duties as a fiancé.

Even if she had asked him to make dinner, he would have replied with various flowery phrases that essentially meant, “Why should I go to such trouble?”

“Lord Theodore, have you had a change of heart?”

In the middle of the meal, Yuria asked a question.

“Lady Yuria, you should focus only on the meal when eating.”

Feeling that he wouldn’t answer her right now as he spoke as if giving advice with a gentle smile, Yuria nodded slightly and replied:

    “Understood.”

Then she could ask after the meal was over.

Yuria slowly chewed the food, savoring the taste, thinking that she should also consider the sincerity of the person who made it.

Having become extremely hungry due to her vigorous physical activity, Yuria felt all the food going down smoothly.

She had experienced the limits of her stamina to the point of collapsing on the floor completely exhausted, so if she hadn’t been served a proper meal like this, she might have suffered from hunger.

And as the meal was coming to an end, Yuria realized that Theodore had been watching her continuously.

“The meal was delicious, Lord Theodore.”

When Yuria finished her meal, Theodore was seen making the plates float with his power.

    “Ah, I’ll wash the dishes…”

“There’s no need for that. Clean.”

Yuria was about to say that she would do the dishes, but Theodore stopped her.

Then, with just one cleaning spell, he removed all foreign substances from the plates and made them clean.

“…Magic seems quite useful for daily life.”

“Why? Do you want to learn magic too? But unfortunately, you have no talent for magic.”

“I know that! And I’m going to walk purely on the path of a swordswoman. First, I’ll become a strong enough swordswoman to land a hit on you, and then become a swordswoman whose name is known throughout the continent, so I have not the slightest intention of being distracted by magic.”

It would be a lie to say that Yuria wasn’t envious of magical abilities, but she had no desire to learn magic.

Theodore’s point was stated in an annoying way, but she knew well that it was true.

In the first place, at the level of House Arsein, there would naturally be a light talent test in childhood.

Through that test, Yuria knew that her talent for magic measured as merely average.

Even that was because she had talent in handling ki, which allowed her to score average; if she had actually walked the path of a magician, she would probably have remained at the lowest level among magicians.

‘But I always liked the sword anyway.’

    Yuria still remembered.

The feeling she had when she first held a sword.

The dream and passion she had harbored in her childhood, wanting to become an outstanding swordswoman like those in stories, had continued all this time.

“That’s the good path. Unless you’re a versatile human like me, it’s best to dig just one well.”

Yuria glanced at him slightly but didn’t argue verbally.

Honestly speaking, she also acknowledged that fact.

Although it felt annoying to hear him say it so openly, whether it was because her stomach was full or because the food was delicious, she didn’t care.

It might have been because of the fullness that her mood had mellowed a bit.

    ‘I should wash up.’

Yuria was drenched in sweat all over from her intense movements earlier. And now she felt uncomfortable because the sweat all over her body had dried.

The casual clothes she was wearing as a swordswoman, consisting of a white T-shirt and black leather hot pants, had been specially made for her directly by House Arsein, so whether they got wet with sweat or water, or even if juice was spilled on them, an automatic cleaning magic was cast to make them clean automatically.

They could even automatically repair damage if they were cut by a blade, as long as the damage wasn’t too severe.

“If you’re done eating, I’ll be going now.”

“Ah, Lord Theodore. Just a moment. I still haven’t heard the answer to what I asked earlier.”

Yuria stopped Theodore as he was about to leave. At her intervention, Theodore looked at her and said:

“Right, you asked if there was a change in my feelings?”

    “Yes.”

“As I said before, I’ve just developed interest in you as a woman. And since I’ve become interested, I thought my fiancée should eat proper food, not just makeshift meals.”

After saying that, Theodore grinned and asked:

“Or would you like me to add something more? If you want, I think I could speak for at least a minute?”

If he did that, he would certainly praise her with all kinds of flowery words. But knowing that it wouldn’t be sincere, Yuria shook her head.

    “No, that’s not necessary.”

Having answered decisively, she said to Theodore:

“That’s enough. And, dinner was delicious. Thank you, Lord Theodore.”

Yuria tried to smile with sincerity. He was annoying as he was, but gratitude was gratitude.

“Alright, then rest for now. I’ll train you harder tomorrow.”

    “Yes. By all means!”

Rather than fear, Yuria’s enthusiasm surged at the mention of hard training.

Just thinking about how much stronger she could become as a swordswoman after that training made her heart race.

“Then rest well. You’ll have a hard time tomorrow.”

    “Yes, you too, Lord Theodore.”

After Theodore left, Yuria, who was left alone in the mansion, thought of the shower on the second floor.

    ‘I should wash up first.’

She needed to wash up first.

As for clothes to change into, she had brought pajamas, but honestly, there would be no problem with sleeping in this attire too.

It would be comfortable to sleep if she just loosened her belt.

Yuria went up to the second floor, took off all her clothes, and entered the bathroom.

Then she adjusted the temperature of the shower water and turned it on.

    Shaaaaa-

As the warm water was sprayed on her body, Yuria felt her body becoming languid.

Yuria really liked the moment of showering with warm water after sweating from training.

    ‘Ah, that’s nice.’

Her silver hair, grown to her waist, was pretty but actually inconvenient to manage.

However, in the Arcan Empire, it was an obligation for women of noble families to grow their hair to their waist, and as the eldest daughter of House Arsein, who was particularly noticeable, long hair was essential, if nothing else.

Especially, she also knew well that such long hair suited her beautiful appearance, and as a woman, she did not dislike being pretty.

In addition, although she hadn’t particularly paid attention to it, since she was called the greatest beauty in the Arcan Empire, cutting her hair might lead to strange rumors and malicious gossip about House Arsein, so she had mastered how to fight while maintaining long hair.

After washing her body with special shampoo and soap, Yuria suddenly sprayed water from the shower toward the steam on the mirror placed beside her to wipe it, and saw her reflection in the mirror.

The image of a beauty with silver hair and blue eyes, revealing a snow-white naked body, was reflected, and especially her full yet elastic breasts, slender waist, and as she turned her body, even the size of her tempting buttocks were clearly reflected in the mirror.

If it hadn’t been for Theodore Skyroad, a fiancé who seemed impossible to surpass, she would undoubtedly have suffered from the courtship of numerous men—a fact she had felt consistently at Jeiha Academy even before coming here.

Among the gazes directed at her, many were inadvertently aimed at her chest or buttocks, but since they were merely inadvertent and most were afraid of her background as House Arsein, they quickly bowed their heads if they met her eyes, so she wasn’t angry.

‘I’m curious about Lord Theodore saying he’s developed an interest.’

Yuria suddenly recalled what Theodore had said earlier.

His appearance saying he had developed an interest in her sounded like he meant to move beyond just treating her out of obligation.

However, Yuria also knew that this wasn’t about changing from a merely obligatory engagement relationship to one of passionate affection.

But she also felt that he had at least developed a somewhat favorable feeling toward her.

    Then what about herself?

‘Theodore Skyroad. An annoyingly excellent man in many ways, and as excellent as he is annoying.’

Recalling her evaluation of him in her mind, Yuria, while being showered with water, thought about her feelings toward him.

Currently, the engagement relationship was maintained, and she neither craved love from him nor harbored feelings of love.

However, she did not hate him, and she didn’t even dislike him.

Even if she imagined the passage of time leading to marriage, she didn’t feel aversion.

In the first place, among noble families, there were few cases of marriage out of passionate love, and most were strategic marriages with just an appropriate level of goodwill, so there was nothing special about it.

Theodore probably thought the same thing.

‘Haah, I don’t know why I keep thinking about this.’

However, Yuria was aware that her state of worrying about Theodore even while showering was somewhat strange.

After turning off the shower water, Yuria dried herself with a towel and used a magical item brought from House Arsein to dry her hair.

She planned to stop thinking here and do some meditation to build ki for about two hours.

And after the meditation was over, she intended to get a good night’s sleep for tomorrow’s training.

“The real… Chosen One is me. No, there’s no need for any Chosen One other than me.”
