Chapter 17 – Floor 3. Blessed Onahole (Correct) vs. Really Big Onahole (Incorrect)
“See you again, customer.”
The Suspicious Merchant bid me farewell in a drawling voice as I turned my back to put the Battle Command grimoire in my backpack and depart.
The feeling of emptiness from being completely drained was no joke.
Even knowing that providing a certain amount of GOLD to the Suspicious Merchant increases the difficulty in the very late stages, it still felt addictive.
The pleasure of having my essence extracted made me understand why humans become entranced by demons.
I fled down the corridor to get away from the merchant.
“I’ve never seen this kind of description before…”
My instinct screamed to slaughter enemies and gather GOLD to offer to that damn kid succubus, but I slapped myself and suppressed that desire.
Just because it brings me to ecstasy doesn’t mean I can throw away my life.
“Ugh, the Maginot Line for safe pattern addition was 7,500 GOLD, wasn’t it? But if I experience that again, could I resist?”
What the Suspicious Merchant did was closer to spiritual pleasure that transcended physical pleasure.
In my view, those restless ghosts would all definitely achieve enlightenment and disappear if they experienced that once.
“Sigh. Quickly finish exploring and move to Floor 4…”
THROB.
With my lower body growing heavy, I had no choice but to awkwardly stop and rummage through my backpack.
Let’s relieve myself first.
***
[You have learned the structure of the current floor.]
[You have leveled up.]
After completing the map of Floor 3, I discovered that the Sad Ghost would appear from Floor 6, and although I couldn’t find the healing spring I was desperately seeking, I did find a Star Sanctuary.
A simple structure that could barely be called a sanctuary, with just a small angel statue and an altar-like platform where you seem to be meant to place something.
But despite its appearance, the Star Sanctuary is an extremely useful and convenient object.
Just by placing an item on the altar in front of the angel statue, it adds the adjective “blessed” to that item.
‘It basically raises an item’s tier by one level, but considering how often that one level of explosive power is tearfully missed, I should accept it with gratitude.’
The problem is that my current equipped items don’t have particularly good performance.
Just dirty leather armor that’s only 1 tier higher than tattered clothes, an old dagger I picked up at the beginning, and a silver longsword that’s 2 tier equipment but that I don’t know how to use properly.
‘If anything, maybe the Ring of Strength?’
Accessories don’t have tiers, so they’re equipment you keep until the end.
Plus, it was a ring that had even been enhanced, but still, choosing it over everything else for a blessing consecration made me tilt my head questioningly.
“Wait, would this work?”
As I continued to ponder, one idea suddenly crossed my mind.
“Since a specter is cursed… would it attain enlightenment if blessed at a sanctuary?”
I’d pass on Severa since there’s uncertainty there.
What I took out of my backpack was the bouncy, blue slime with its translucent, wobbling surface that was next to her.
No matter how much the target’s body and self are preserved, an onahole ultimately receives an item classification.
If it could be blessed, something would improve, at least.
It was a shame that it was an onahole that summons a slime blob, but it seemed better than blessing other equipment.
“Come on! Holy onahole! HAHAHA! To think that something called a god would bless an onahole… aren’t you ashamed? Hey?!”
I placed the Slime Onahole on the altar and raised my arms to the sky, cackling like an evil sorcerer performing a wicked ritual.
And a brilliant light flashed—
[God’s protection has settled upon the item.]
…or rather, it didn’t. There was just a simple log window, and the Slime Onahole sparkled more brightly.
『Blessed Slime Onahole』Fuel: 10/15
【When used, summons a Blessed Blue Slime】
【An onahole with excellent sticky texture that emits a clear, transparent light when illuminated. A small pleasure in the death-filled magic dungeon.】
“Oh. It’s gotten more confusing.”
Looking up at the stars clustered in the circular opening like a twinkling night sky, I took out a bottle of sloshing green liquid from my bosom.
A bottle I found from another skeleton during my exploration of Floor 3, not Jeff’s remains.
It looks like the healing potion I’ve already identified, but this item’s name is Rain Caller.
“This is so stiff.”
POP—
When I applied force, the stiff potion’s cap opened with a crisp sound, and after a while, the liquid inside began to bubble, rising toward the sky as green vapor.
As time passed, an enormous amount of vapor gushed out like a tear gas canister, mixing with the clouds in the sky.
Rain Caller.
As the name suggests, it’s an item made with the wish for rain to fall, and when used, it makes rain fall in the field.
However, since the sewers where this item can be obtained are underground with a sealed sky, using it anywhere would make the item disappear without any effect.
But there’s just one place.
And in this unique opening in the underground sewers, the intended place for using the Rain Caller, it’s different.
RUMBLE—
After the Rain Caller completely evaporated, the beautiful embroidery of stars that had momentarily adorned the sky was soon covered and disappeared behind dark rain clouds.
PLOP, PLOP, WHOOSH—
“Ah… I used to dislike being rained on. But after staying in this fucking place, it’s welcome.”
Large raindrops began to pour down.
Since I hadn’t properly washed since entering these underground sewers, except for wiping myself with wet cloth, I wanted to just shower like this, but this dungeon doesn’t leave me alone.
‘It’s here.’
A massive form falling from the surface.
Something with overwhelming mass descends as if it had been waiting.
BOOOOOOM!!!
A massive impact that shook the entire underground sewer came with its landing, pushing me back from where I stood.
“I knew its entrance would be dramatic, just as expected.”
SPLASH—
In the underground cavern where rain falls, illuminated by the partially uncovered moonlight.
What appeared before me was a Giant Slime, seemingly dozens of times larger than the normal slime.
This is a test run before taking on the King of the Sewers waiting on Floor 5.
『Giant Slime』Level: 10☆
Health: 203/203
【A mutant created through cannibalism among slimes over a long period. Due to its sensitive reaction to specific rain-inducing potions, the nation has banned the use of such potions.】
[You have learned about the Giant Slime.]
***
The Giant Slime is strong.
Like in its slime days, it’s still vulnerable to magic, but its magic defense has increased, and it still has physical resistance, making it an even tougher mini-boss than the King of the Sewers in terms of pure physical damage.
“Come out, Severa.”
With those words, black mist flows from the darkness and red eyes glow.
A jet-black one-piece dress that clings to her body, contrasting with her pale skin, along with a staff adorned with a red gem.
It was an item that had a certain probability of casting an additional weak-powered spell with each spell cast.
If not for its performance, I would have let her go around naked.
As if she heard what I was thinking, those red eyes flashed eerily at me, but I didn’t particularly care.
What could she do about it? I’m the master, and she’s just an onahole.
WHOOSH—
An impatiently wielded slime whip made of mucus tears through the air, approaching to take my life.
It moved at such a speed that I questioned whether it was truly the same species as the Blue Slime—
BOOOOOM!!! BANG—!
A massive fireball roughly tears apart the slime whip and explodes with a thunderous sound.
A series of slightly smaller explosions that followed indicated that Asribe’s dress had activated its effect.
[The Giant Slime was vulnerable to magic.]
[The Giant Slime took 42 damage.]
[The Giant Slime took 16 damage.]
“That firepower is amazing. It’s kind of stupid but good performance, right?”
Seeing Severa deal nearly 60 damage in an instant, I had no choice but to acknowledge the performance of Onahole Creation.
This stupid anonymous poster really did give an overpowered magic after throwing me into a place like this!
‘Still, I won’t thank you, 112.311.’
While admiring Severa’s firepower and fondling her chest, the Giant Slime cut through the smoke and revealed itself again.
“Take your hands off. You’re in the way.”
“Let’s use your breasts tonight before sleeping.”
“You obscene bastard..!”
“You act resistant but you like it.”
Despite being hit at its vulnerable weakness, as befitting a mini-boss, the Giant Slime remained formidable. Severa prepared to fire her next spell, and I stopped fondling her breasts and drew my sword and shield.
Fortunately, I had obtained a corroded shield before summoning the Giant Slime.
It was the lowest-tier shield, but much better than nothing.
Having become a somewhat decently equipped warrior, albeit with a bit of an awkward stance, with sword and shield in hand, I held up my shield to protect Severa from incoming attacks while preparing to respond.
Most of that creature’s attacks were physical, but it occasionally used magic, albeit with a low probability.
Flesh-searing flames scatter, and mysterious liquid that melts flesh where it splashes.
I receive the slime whips aimed at me with my shield and deflect the slime bullets shot like bullets.
CLANG! BANG!
“Ugh..!”
Being thrown against walls or falling down from the recoil was common, and several attacks were directed at Severa, who was casting spells from a fixed position, but fortunately, none of them were magical.
Within less than a minute, I was in tatters, swallowing the curses that came to my lips and crouching to maximize the area I could cover with my shield.
‘Severa can probably hold out for about 30 more seconds.’
Once in combat, the Fuel meter of an onahole decreases rapidly.
That’s why the combat I should aim for is a short, decisive battle.
But the Giant Slime didn’t seem to be an easy opponent; even after consuming almost all the fireball charges, it still appeared to have energy left.
‘If I had just one more magic staff, it would have been a bit easier.’
If I had decided to take some hits and cast magic alongside Severa, we could have overwhelmed it with damage.
But what hasn’t appeared can’t be helped.
I swallowed my regret and decided to bring out my other card.
“Now, come forth, Onahole #1 with a spoonful of holiness added!”
BOING!
Bouncing like a rubber ball, a blue slime wrapped in a white holy aura appeared at my command.
For the first time in combat, except for happy times before bed, I demonstrated the simultaneous use of onaholes.
“Tremble in fear! You inferior subspecies onahole that couldn’t even get a blessing from a god!”
WRIGGLE!
GRRRRRRRR!!!
The Giant Slime let out a roar mixed with fear, overwhelmed by the majesty of the holy onahole.
