Chapter 160: You have nothing to say?
by Afuhfuihgs“Uuuugh…”
A low, stiff groan was heard. Following the sound of rustling in the blankets, a head popped up.
First place: Koharu.
“Ah… my throat… my throat hurts!”
“Come out and drink some water.”
Koharu staggered out. Her eyes were swollen, and her hair stood on end as if she’d been zapped by static electricity.
“…Unni. Why does my voice sound like this…?”
Her voice was completely hoarse. I handed her a glass of water and asked quietly,
“Don’t you remember?”
“Uhm… Did I, by any chance, make a mistake?”
“Not a mistake. You did cry, though.”
“Huh, really? I don’t remember! Why did I cry? Did Bomi unni scold me? No, there’s no way I couldn’t overpower her… I didn’t really make a mistake, right? Why on earth did I cry?”
A torrent of disjointed words poured out. Seeing her that flustered, it seemed she genuinely didn’t remember…
“You cried because we weren’t going to karaoke.”
“Neng?”
“You cried because we weren’t going to karaoke. So we connected the speaker and sang.”
“Lies!”
I held out my phone. On it was a video of Koharu performing every part of a male idol group’s song by herself.
“You and I, the mood is paradise. You know just by looking, no disguise.”
“Kyaaaaaaah!”
Koharu’s scream echoed during the low-toned rap part.
“No, that’s not me! It’s a completely different person! It’s AI, right?! AI is so scary these days! Unni, turn it off for now. Ah, don’t raise your hand, please just turn it off! I’ll kneel, Choeun unni!”
Amidst the chaos, the door opened cautiously.
Second place: Karen.
“Mmm. Did everyone sleep well?”
And I stopped her as she quickly tried to go back inside.
“Karen.”
“Uh, huh?”
“Don’t you have anything to say?”
“Uh, no? Did I do something? I, I really don’t remember.”
Koharu chimed in with her hoarse voice.
“Unni doesn’t remember either…”
Well then, why can’t you look me in the eye?
“I’m really disappointed. Just once would have been fine. You could have let me touch it once…”
“Stop! That’s enough!”
Karen’s face, when she lifted her head, was completely red.
Every time she stealthily approached to surprise me, or casually raised her hand while talking, or even charged straight at me—Karen’s wrist was caught by mine.
After that, she had said those words as if she were genuinely wronged.
“S-sorry…”
“No, it’s fine. I didn’t know you’d be that serious about it either.”
“So let’s just stop talking about it…”
In the end, she sighed as if the world were ending, and I allowed it once…
“Hehe. It’s soft…”
Karen, who had giggled foolishly like that, fell asleep in that state. How absurd.
“Ah, the dishes are all done? Who did them?”
Karen looked around awkwardly, as if trying to change the subject.
“I did.”
While doing the dishes, I felt like tidying up the remnants of the drinking session too, and my hands didn’t stop. So I ended up cleaning everything myself.
“Really? Yoona and I were supposed to do it. Since we lost the bet.”
“It’s fine. If I had made you guys do it yesterday, one or two dishes would have broken.”
Koharu smiled faintly and put down her cup.
“Unni. You were mistaken about something. You’re really not a half-elf…”
“Looks like you remember up to that point.”
“Unni isn’t a half-elf, she’s an angel! A total angel!”
“Still drunk? If you drank water, go back inside and rest more.”
I gently pushed away Koharu, who was clinging to my side.
“Why is Bomi unni sleeping on the sofa?”
Karen asked. Koharu also added a word.
“It’s amazing she’s not waking up with all this going on… Isn’t she pretending to be asleep?”
Actually, yes. Judging by the faint breathing and the slight tremor at the end of her throat when she breathed, she had already woken up when Koharu’s video was playing.
“Cadet Bomi. Wake up immediately. Did you come here to play?”
Koharu, casting a shadow over the sofa, lowered her voice. Combined with her hoarse voice, it wasn’t intimidating at all.
“We did come here to play…”
Karen muttered.
“This lazy attitude cannot be tolerated. You are sentenced to tickling.”
Every time Koharu moved her fingers, Sara’s body twitched. Her desperate squirming looked almost pitiful.
“Oh? There’s a reaction. Further resistance will result in a contempt charge.”
Watching Sara, who was now trembling violently as if having a seizure, Karen leaned towards me.
“Why is Bomi unni holding out like that? What on earth did she do yesterday?”
“That’s related to her sleeping on the sofa…”
“Choeun-ah, don’t say it!”
Sara shot up so suddenly that Koharu, who was attached to her, tumbled backward.
“Don’t say it! I’ll give you a coffee gifticon. No, I’ll get you whatever you want!”
The reactions of the other two immediately followed.
“Ooh~ Trying to get away by yourself!”
“What is it, what is it? I’m getting more curious!”
Sara looked at me with pleading eyes. I shrugged and said,
“Hear it from Sara directly later.”
“Why! You even made a video of my embarrassing moment!”
“What did she do? If you don’t tell me, I’ll die of curiosity!”
When I smiled, Sara sent me a genuinely grateful look.
It wasn’t that I was discriminating. I simply judged it better not to reveal it to protect her human dignity.
It was one thing to imitate her pet cat, Coco, but it was difficult to say that she even hissed when I tried to move her to the bed.
…Of course, I did record Sara too. Just in case.
It was an awkward time for breakfast, so we waited a bit longer and had an early lunch.
“Leah cleaned everything up, so there’s not much for us to do.”
Karen, taking a bite of seafood ramen, smiled sheepishly.
“Choeun-ah, thank you. But you’re really amazing. How can you be so okay? Is it really a genetic difference…?”
Sara’s gaze turned to my face.
“It’s because of angel genes. Ugh, I finally feel alive…”
Koharu said, swallowing a mouthful of broth.
After finishing the meal, we packed our bags and spent the remaining time until checkout wandering around the pool villa and taking pictures.
We captured the scenery, took pictures of each other, and finally, took a group photo together.
When we reached the pool area, Sara spoke softly.
“Here… Choeun did that yesterday. And the drinking party… It feels like a dream.”
Starting with those words, everyone was momentarily lost in thought.
The sunlight was moderately warm, and the light reflected on the water swayed gently. The air of that moment felt like a completely different world from last night.
“When I get back, I need to sleep more…”
Karen said, stifling a yawn.
“I’m going to buy bubble tea and travel the world.”
Koharu also revealed her own plans.
“Travel the world?”
When I asked, Sara explained for her.
“She means she’s going to binge-watch shorts. I think I’ll just pass out like Dohee.”
“I… think I’ll start streaming.”
At my words, all three heads turned simultaneously.
“Today, right away?”
“Wow. You have the stamina for that? Weren’t you the last one to sleep yesterday?”
“She’s really made for streaming.”
I simply smiled lightly in response.
Then Koharu narrowed her eyes, looking somewhat uneasy.
“Uh, everyone knows the 3rd gen went on a trip together. Won’t your stream get a lot of trolls? Asking you to spill the tea?”
Sara added with a more serious face.
“You… you’re not planning to talk about members’ drunken antics or anything like that on stream, are you? Tell me you’re not. Please.”
Karen chimed in with an awkward smile.
“No, Leah doesn’t usually talk about things like that. Even if she spills some tea… it’s mostly about the other world, right? Right?”
Her tone gradually shifted towards seeking confirmation.
“That’s true. Still, since I’m streaming alone today, I was thinking maybe it’s okay to talk a little bit…?”
Once again, the gazes of the three of them gathered anxiously.
I chuckled and said,
“Don’t worry. I won’t mention any drunken habits.”
Only then did everyone simultaneously sigh in relief.
“Oh, the driver will be here soon.”
Sara said, looking down at her phone screen. Just like when we came here.
And so, we finished preparing to return to our daily lives.

-
Sponsored stream as soon as she’s back.
-
This is why she streamed alone lol
-
Leah, your new song is so good!
Today was a sponsored stream for the mobile game Novera Kailus, for which I participated in the theme song.
While I was away with the members, the song and trailer video were apparently released.
This advertisement was also my first official collaboration, so I planned to approach it with a sense of responsibility. That’s why I had a slightly… cunning (?) plan.
‘If I talk a little about the villa… and when the viewer count increases, I can start the main content.’
With a voice slightly more energetic than usual, I began.
“May the blessings of the forest be with you all… I had a really good experience with my colleagues.”
How much should I say? I mulled it over in my head.
