    Chapter 121.2

“At the very least, we knew who the real enemy was.”

    “…”

“Ahn Woo-jin, the Disciplinary Committee Leader of Ahsung High, has been dedicating himself to this city. But this Academy City has been running according to the whims of the Head Principal, and Woo-jin almost became a scapegoat.”

“Can you take responsibility for those words?”

“Responsibility? Responsibility, you say…? Haha, really… President. Can you still say that after witnessing this?”

Baek-hyun pointed toward the vast battlefield and Se-Ah with a frustrated expression.

“The Head Principal, Neo Seoul, and that sinister magic overpowering even the city’s strongest! Can’t you piece together what’s happening? Neo Seoul was about to fall into the hands of some strange individual… And now, evidence proving Ahn Woo-jin was falsely accused is surfacing! There’s talk that this was even verified on the news just now!”

    “…I know.”

“Ahn Woo-jin decided this was the only way to reclaim his rights! What could you have done against Spartoi, Hanyang forces, the city’s highest powers, corruption, false accusations, and violence?”

“We could have at least tried legal means first…”

    “Ha, legal? Le-gal? You… idiot!!”

    *Smack!*

Baek-hyun couldn’t hold back anymore. He ripped off his tie and threw it to the ground.

‘There it is! The President’s tie throw!’

‘And in front of the Student Council President, no less!’

The students of Ahsung High were in awe of Baek-hyun’s defiance.

“President Han Baek-hyun. What do you think you’re doing…?”

“You fool! Do you need me to keep repeating the same thing in this situation!? Ahn Woo-jin has been fighting all along!! For this city!! And me too!! Do you even have the slightest clue how much I’ve gone through!? Can you even begin to understand!? You, the President, who’s clueless about reality! You… you idiot!!”

Baek-hyun jabbed his finger at the President, his face flushing red with anger as he yelled.

“Uh, President Han? Now’s not the time to get so worked up…?”

Mayeon High’s Student Council President Ye-na tried to calm him, but Baek-hyun couldn’t contain his fury.

“If Ahn Woo-jin hadn’t become as strong as a monster, what then? If he hadn’t caused this ruckus!? You blind fools, living as if nothing’s wrong while this city is falling into someone else’s hands!! And you, the Student Council President!!”

    “P-President…!?”

“We are the masters of this city!! We students are the rulers of this Academy City!! We can’t just live in ignorance, pretending nothing’s happening!!”

Baek-hyun grabbed his head and screamed in frustration.

“Arghhh!! I’m going insane from this frustration!! Ahn Woo-jin!! Break it all down!! There’s no hope here!! Aaaagh!!”

    “President!! C-calm down…!”

Baek-hyun roared, and Ye-na tried to restrain him.

The President couldn’t muster the will to be angry at Baek-hyun for his outburst. Instead, he felt a deep sense of humiliation.

    “Is that so…?”

Accepting the situation, the President turned his gaze towards the battlefield where the city’s strongest were clashing.

    “President Han Baek-hyun.”

    “What!? What is it!?”

“My role is to protect the order of Neo Seoul. The same goes for you. Our goals are aligned.”

    “…And?”

Surprised by the unexpectedly calm response, Baek-hyun managed to steady his voice.

“My duty is to uphold the city’s justice, not its injustice. If I’ve been blind to injustice, I will oppose it with every authority I possess.”

The President turned to the Martial Law Guards.

His eyes were filled with unwavering resolve.

Taking a deep breath, he shouted.

“As the Student Council President and Commander of the Martial Law Guards, I command you!! Recognize those before you not as enemies, but as allies! Assist Ahsung High’s Disciplinary Committee Leader Ahn Woo-jin in reclaiming the true order of this city!”

    The President’s voice echoed loudly.

“Interfere with Lee Se-Ah in any way that aids Ahn Woo-jin! Even if this decision brings about the wrong outcome, I will bear all consequences!”

The Martial Law Guards looked at the President in bewilderment, but soon, with serious expressions, they nodded and turned their gaze towards the battlefield where Woo-jin, Goliath, and Se-Ah were fighting.

The Martial Law Guards, Disciplinary Committee Alliance, and Goblin Army all faced the same direction.

The historic scene was broadcast live on streaming channels.
