    Chapter 121.1

Chapter 121 – Rule 31. The Leader Restores Order in Academy City (23)

“Is that the Disciplinary Committee Leader of Ahsung High and… Goliath?”

The Martial Law Guards, Goblin Army, and Disciplinary Committee Alliance ceased fighting, creating distance between themselves as they watched the epic battle unfolding from afar.

They couldn’t keep fighting in such an incomprehensible situation.

    ‘Why are those two…?’

Why were Neo Seoul’s strongest, Ahn Woo-jin and Goliath, fighting together?

Who on earth was that girl in the Ahsung High uniform wielding bizarre red magic?

“Who is she, to make Ahn Woo-jin and Goliath fight against just one person…?”

No one could understand what was happening.

Every citizen was plunged into confusion.

Meanwhile, some recognized the identity of the girl fighting against Woo-jin and Goliath.

    “Lee Se-Ah…?”

Oh Baek-seo stared blankly into the air, her face showing shock. Ha Yesong felt the same.

“B-Baek-seo! Why, why is the Leader fighting with that monster and that troublemaker!?”

Yesong grabbed Baek-seo, demanding answers, but Baek-seo didn’t know either.

The Se-Ah she knew was merely the Head Principal’s daughter and a person to be wary of.

She had long suspected that the Head Principal was doing something to Se-Ah, but she hadn’t known exactly what. Thus, she couldn’t definitively judge whether Se-Ah was pure or not.

However, based on the circumstances, Baek-seo quickly gathered her thoughts and understood what needed to be done.

    “I’m not sure, but…”

    *Srrrng!*

Baek-seo drew her Hyunwoondo Sword, gathered her magic, and took a step forward.

“We have to help the Leader.”

Woo-jin and Goliath continued to strike down the strange forces of the Do-hwa Group, but enduring Se-Ah’s attacks as well left them visibly exhausted.

“Yes… I don’t know what’s going on, but I know that troublemaker is really dangerous. That magic of hers is made up of many people. Something that should never have happened has happened.”

    Yesong said.

There was no time to worry about the Martial Law Guards and the Disciplinary Committee Alliance.

Even if they didn’t know who Se-Ah was, everyone present could feel that things were going terribly wrong.

After all, the screams spreading from Se-Ah’s magic felt like the desperate cries of a child begging to be saved.

What on earth was the Head Principal hiding?

Newly emerged allegations of the Head Principal’s crimes and suspicions about Ahn Woo-jin being falsely accused… Were they all true?

Although the exact facts were unknown, all students ranked Tier 5 or above could sense that Se-Ah’s magic was horribly grotesque and sorrowful.

“President, I have identified the student. She’s a first-year at Ahsung High, Lee Se-Ah. She’s the leader of an organization called the Do-hwa Group. We investigated quickly under the assumption that she has ties to the Head Principal, and there’s a lot of suspicious evidence. There are connections to Anomia as well.”

The secretary reported to the Hanyang Federal Academy’s Student Council President.

“President, as you’ve likely sensed already, that power…”

The student council president of Sain High approached the President with a grave expression.

    The President frowned.

Ahn Woo-jin, Goliath, and Lee Se-Ah.

Their battlefield was nothing short of a hellscape where approaching meant certain death for most.

Watching this scene, the President made a decision after much deliberation.

“Cease fighting and focus on treating the wounded.”

    “President? Are you saying… President!?”

The President leaped gracefully from the rooftop, landing on the ground, and approached the wary Disciplinary Committee Alliance.

    “Everyone, stand by.”

Ahsung High’s Student Council President, Han Baek-hyun, and Mayeon High’s Student Council President, Lee Ye-na, ordered the Disciplinary Committee Alliance to halt and stepped forward.

Park Minhyuk used his communicator to issue instructions, “Yu Doha. Grenadier Unit, standby,” while Kim Dalbi told the Goblins, “Hold still for now.”

The two Student Council Presidents and the President halted their steps near each other.

    “How much did you know?”

    The President asked.

He was determined to protect Neo Seoul by stopping Ahn Woo-jin, who was considered a walking disaster.

Though rumors were spreading online that Ahn Woo-jin might actually be the one trying to protect Neo Seoul, he wouldn’t be swayed by unverified information.

The responsibility entrusted to him was heavy, and if there were suspicions, it was clear whether to side with the Head Principal or the Disciplinary Committee Leader.

But after seeing the mysterious girl, Lee Se-Ah, who had escaped from Central Tower and was now battling Woo-jin and Goliath, his thoughts had changed.

Anyone with a basic understanding of magic could sense that the power Se-Ah wielded shouldn’t exist in this world.

“How much did you know that you aimed your guns at us?”

    Baek-hyun from Ahsung High responded.

“At the very least, we knew who the real enemy was.”

    “…”
