Minst Academy, and the Reunion 2

Minst Academy, and the Reunion 2

    “Oh, my. Lord William…”

Headmaster Albert looked embarrassed and didn’t know what to do. As the headmaster of Minst Academy, his authority was so powerful that even the heads of noble families couldn’t treat him casually.

But the man who appeared now, William Artin, although a student of Minst Academy, was someone that even the headmaster couldn’t handle.

It wasn’t because he possessed overwhelming power.

Nor was it because his status was that of the heir to House Artin, the most influential noble family in the Britannia Empire.

    <The Chosen One>.

A status that gave him such powerful authority that it even pushed his status as the heir to a ducal house to a lower priority.

Being the prophesied hero who would save the world gave him, a student, an authority that even Headmaster Albert couldn’t casually deal with.

    ‘He looks embarrassed.’

Yuria knew that this situation was one that Headmaster Albert had not anticipated. And this assumption of hers was confirmed by Headmaster Albert’s subsequent words.

“How, how did you know to come here? Lord William.”

“Ah, Headmaster. I’ve asked you to tell me when the real exchange students arrive, so why are you hiding it? It’s disgusting, sh*t.”

Spitting out vulgar curses like a street thug and showing a swaggering attitude, he was displaying this kind of behavior in front of none other than the academy’s headmaster. He then turned his gaze back to Yuria.

He looked her up and down, and at his greedy gaze, Yuria felt a repulsive sensation as if a bug were crawling over her body.

“Wow~ Tsk. They said the greatest beauty in the Arcan Empire, and she’s f*cking amazing. Those big melons and that tight ass. Must be delicious.”

This was such an unprecedented insult that Yuria was more dumbfounded than angry.

Born as the eldest daughter of House Arsein, not even the Emperor of the Arcan Empire could throw such insults at her.

But William’s behavior, unhesitatingly throwing such insults at her, truly exceeded her imagination.

“I’m really in a hurry right now. Come quickly, hehe~ I’ll give you the opportunity to bear the child of the Chosen One.”

William, seemingly blinded by lust for Yuria, openly spoke crude words and reached his hand toward her.

There was not the slightest hesitation in his actions, as he firmly believed that Yuria would naturally accept his proposal.

However, his intention did not succeed.

Although Yuria was taking a stance to avoid, before that happened, Theodore, who had stepped in front of Yuria, grabbed his hand and stopped him.

    “Sht, what? Which bstard… huh?”

William, who was getting angry at being interfered with, stammered in confusion when he saw Theodore’s face.

Having been focused solely on Yuria and not caring about other people, he was only now seeing his face.

    “What, what is this?”

William, unable to believe his eyes, blinked several times and focused his gaze. But no matter how much he checked, Theodore’s face was clearly visible in front of him.

Seeing Theodore emanating a cold aura, William muttered blankly:

    “Is, is this a doppelganger?”

Seeing Theodore who remarkably resembled himself, William unconsciously muttered like that, and Theodore refuted:

“Wrong, you’re the one who resembles me.”

After saying that, Theodore applied force to his hand.

    “Aaaaahhhh?!”

William let out a painful scream.

“This is the price for repeatedly using abusive language toward someone else’s fiancée and attempting to molest her.”

Theodore, glaring at William with a gaze as if looking at trash, threw him away as he screamed in pain.

    “Oh, my?!”

Headmaster Albert was flustered by the unexpected situation.

He knew William was a ruffian, but he probably hadn’t imagined the situation would go this far.

To speak such nonsense to a young lady of a foreign ducal house, not even from his own country!

Moreover, this happened right in front of her fiancé, not just anywhere else.

“Aaaahhh! Sht! It fcking hurts! You, you arrogant b*stard! Do you know who I am?”

William, cradling his right hand that Theodore had grabbed with his left hand, expressed his pain but was actually angry at Theodore’s actions.

    ‘He’s terrible.’

Yuria truly couldn’t understand how a person could go to such an extent.

He was at the level of filth in human form.

She had also heard about William Artin.

She had heard that he was the ‘most likely candidate’ for the <Chosen One>, but that he had grown up to be a ruffian, a second-year student at Minst Academy who committed all kinds of misdeeds.

However, his behavior now went beyond the level of a ruffian.

Even a low-level street thug wouldn’t do this, and Yuria couldn’t comprehend from her common sense how he could do such things to a foreign young lady and still behave with such an attitude.

Moreover, she wasn’t alone; her fiancé Theodore was also beside her.

“You’re asking if I know who you are?”

Theodore snorted and slowly walked forward step by step.

Though he was simply walking, his gait, imbued with the intimidation and arrogance of a predator, seemed to show the decisive difference between him and William.

Though their appearances were similar, unlike William who was just a swaggering ruffian, Theodore, though annoyingly arrogant, possessed abilities to match it—he was of a different caliber, to the point where comparing them would be unfair.

“I, who shine more brilliantly than anyone else, have no need to know someone like you. Filth like you, which is as common as trash on the street, isn’t worth my attention.”

“You, you b*stard! Do you think you’ll be safe after this? I am the Chosen One! The Chosen One! Without me, this world will end! Yet you’re being ungrateful!”

Though William was getting angry while emphasizing that he was the Chosen One, because he had just felt Theodore’s strength, he didn’t dare think of attacking first.

It was evidence that he definitely had enough intelligence to know that if he attacked, he would be met with fists.

‘I thought so, but he’s even uglier than I expected.’

And the behavior of the Britannia Empire, which believed in and relied on someone like this as the Chosen One, was laughable.

‘Even after 10 years, he hasn’t changed.’

Although it wasn’t very noticeable in childhood, Theodore had roughly guessed that William would grow up to be such a ruffian.

And while he didn’t yet intend to immediately reveal his identity to House Artin and the Britannia Empire, he concluded that there would be no problem in lightly revealing his identity in front of such a ruffian.

‘The attitude this filth will show is as obvious as seeing a shadow under the bright sun.’

    Theodore flicked his finger.

Then everything except him and William stopped.

Everyone present at this place… the various magicians and Headmaster Albert, and even Yuria, all stopped.

    No, they weren’t completely stopped.

Time was still flowing, albeit very slowly.

It was just that time was flowing at less than 1/1000th of its normal speed, making it appear as if it had stopped.

    “What, what is this?”

However, when the phenomenon occurred where the world suddenly seemed to stop, William was terrified and didn’t know what to do.

“It’s been a very long time, William.”

Theodore removed the mask he had been wearing for 10 years and smiled coldly.

“While I have grown into a special being that is virtually the center of the world, you’ve hit rock bottom and are showing what it means to be the ultimate filth. Isn’t that interesting?”

At Theodore’s words, William stared at him blankly.

He had now realized who was responsible for this terrifying phenomenon.

“How did it feel to dance like a puppet in false glory? My hateful twin brother.”

At Theodore’s words, William’s complexion gradually turned pale.

    “No, could it be?”

Having discerned who he was from Theodore’s words, William trembled.

    “The, Theodore?”

His voice trembled as he called the name of his twin brother who had disappeared long ago, and toward him, Theodore said:

“You can see my power, right? The real Chosen One wasn’t you but me. The special human chosen to save the world wasn’t filth like you, but me.”

“Don’t, don’t be ridiculous! That, that can’t be! You were just… a human whose existence wasn’t even known… who could have been nonexistent! I, I am the Chosen One! I am the Chosen One!”

In fear that the only basis that had been allowing all his actions might disappear, William screamed as if struggling desperately.

But Theodore coldly sneered at his desperate struggle and said:

“The struggle of a human who has fallen to the bottom is amusing. Well, I won’t reveal who I am for the time being, so go ahead and tremble alone in false fear. Because even if I don’t step forward, your lie will eventually be exposed anyway.”

Theodore finished speaking and made the time, which had been flowing slowly, return to its original speed.

    “Uh, uwaaaahhh!!!”

William turned his body and hurriedly began to run away.
