Chapter 1153: Side Story – The Guild Master’s Duties (1)
by Afuhfuihgs
Since relocating our base from Gangdong District to Hope City, I’ve been coming into contact with Do Yehee much more frequently.
There were times I thought I might be meeting her more often than Sihee, who was the reason I got involved with her in the first place. It was especially true during the peak of Gangdong District’s redevelopment.
Of course, now that I’m even living together with Sihee, I naturally see her more, but still, among women other than my ‘wife’, Do Yehee was the one I met the most.
“You know that community cemetery you mentioned before?”
“Ah, right. We did talk about something like that.”
“We decided to build the cemetery a bit further from the Hope City Guild, deep inside the mountainous area. No matter how important accessibility is, having a graveyard right behind the guild building gives off a really bad vibe, doesn’t it?”
“That’s true. Good thinking.”
“Right. And besides that, it’s also about what we discussed last time….”
Like always, Do Yehee and I met and discussed business matters with quite serious expressions.
Most of it involved redevelopment projects related to Hope City, or the personal requests I’d made of her. By now, Do Yehee and I are practically a single entity, a business community.
In the first place, the Hope City Guild itself was built with her investment, so we were already business partners, but Do Yehee’s specialty being the construction industry meant we were bound to be involved even more.
“…That’s about it. You understand, right?”
“Well, I’ll leave most of it to you. I’m not exactly an expert in construction, anyway.”
“I figured you’d say that.”
As someone who isn’t an expert, interfering unnecessarily in someone else’s specialty would just make me look ridiculous. I always listen to Do Yehee’s business briefings, but I’ve rarely offered opposing opinions.
…But Do Yehee gave me a strangely suspicious look, as if my very attitude displeased her.
“I’ve been thinking lately.”
“Hm?”
“Don’t you think you’re just leaving all the construction-related work to me because I’m an expert in that field?”
“Huh? Yeah, I am. Is that not okay?”
“It’s not that it’s not okay, it’s just….”
“……?”
“Lately, I feel like I’m becoming just a convenient woman for you to use.”
…What is she talking about all of a sudden?
Her words, baffling in many ways, naturally elicited a reflexive retort from my mouth.
“…What are you talking about out of the blue? Why would I think that?”
“I’m asking if you’re using the fact that I have expertise in construction and can’t refuse your requests to just use me however you please.”
“…….”
“And I worry that after using me extensively for Hope City’s reconstruction, you might discard me when I’m no longer useful.”
She’s really letting her imagination run wild.
After all the history we’ve shared, why is she spouting such nonsense now?
Although the relationship between Do Yehee and me, initially involving Sihee, had long since solidified into just the two of us about a year ago, I still don’t quite understand why she remains so insecure.
“You know what I always say. If you’re that insecure, just have my child and become my official wife.”
“I, I told you I don’t need that! Your idea of taking both successors of the Dokyung Group as wives doesn’t make any sense!”
“What’s the big deal? If you’re worried about raising the child, I’ll handle the parenting.”
“It’s not about that kind of problem!”
Why is she being so picky now? It’s quite amusing how she gets flustered when I suggest a deeper relationship, after we’ve seen each other through thick and thin.
Besides, Sihee took a long leave of absence and has been living with me for months, determined to claim the position of my wife. Yet, Do Yehee, her own sister, despite knowing me for not that long, seems reluctant to open her heart.
“…Sigh, fine. Still, seeing you consistently reassures me. You wouldn’t just discard a woman, after all.”
“I always say this, but it’s not like any woman will do for me either.”
“You have dozens of women visiting your guild these days, and you have the nerve to say that? Do you think I don’t know about the eccentric things you do at your guild?”
“When I first started interviewing, it was at least three digits. Only those I carefully selected frequent my guild.”
“Then your standards must be incredibly low.”
“I’d prefer if you called it having a wide defensive range.”
Hearing that, she seemed to realize her initial suspicion was unfounded.
Well, even though I said my defensive range is wide, it doesn’t mean I can’t distinguish between who’s prettier and who’s less pretty.
I can certainly tell that Do Yehee is prettier than the numerous guild members who only started frequenting my guild a month or two ago. If you add the emotional attachment built over time, my heart leans more towards Sihee, though.
“Anyway, I think this level of relationship is perfect for us. A ‘business partner’ relationship, not too close and not too far, maintaining a proper distance.”
“Sure. If that’s your decision, I won’t force you. If a ‘business sex partner’ is the relationship you want.”
“I said ‘business partner’! Stop adding vulgar words just because you’re a sex-crazed beast!”
“It’s the same thing. It’s just between you and me, after all.”
We rarely just talk about business and part ways whenever we meet.
In fact, I sometimes wonder if Do Yehee isn’t using her business to get closer to me. She even got quite sulky once when we skipped sex because I had a backlog of appointments.
I remember Seolhwa-ssi having quite a hard time mediating between Do Yehee and me. In the end, I resolved it by storming into Do Yehee’s temporary residence and having sex… or rather, passionate lovemaking disguised as rape.
Considering our relationship, the idea that we’re just using each other doesn’t make sense at all.
“So, since we met as ‘business partners’ today, does that mean we’re not going to do it?”
“…….”
“Why the silence? ‘Business partner’ Do Yehee?”
“…Well, if you insist, I suppose I can be a ‘business sex partner’ just for today.”
This is actually quite honest compared to how she used to be.
She’s still a bit cheeky acting like she’s doing me a favor, but if I ignore it now, dealing with the aftermath later will be a hassle.
Dealing with a sulking Do Yehee isn’t exactly pleasant. And I don’t want to cause unnecessary trouble for Seolhwa-ssi, who’s caught in the middle.
With that thought, I entered one of the vacant houses in Primera Hills today, and Do Yehee and I made love in Belle’s dungeon.
“Ugh, G-gghhhnnn…!! H-hnnnggg…!! Ag-again, hnnnggg……”
With shadows overlapping above and below, it continued for hours.
After finishing the ‘business sex’ with Do Yehee, I immediately returned to the Hope City Guild.
In the past, I might have finished an external appointment and called it a day right there, but nowadays, my days are so hectic that I can’t even afford such shortcuts.
“Guild Master, about this regular meeting. I suddenly went into heat, so if possible, could we do it today….”
“I bought this outfit thinking it would suit you, Boss. Could you possibly wear it for the next regular meeting…?”
“I, I’ve adjusted the group meeting schedule you mentioned last time…. The days when all our party members are available are…”
The doors of the Hope City Guild opened and closed countless times an hour, with guild members constantly coming and going.
And I listened to each of their requests, responding earnestly.
Apparently, this ‘meeting’ duty is something Eunbyul can’t handle in my place. Because of this, I have to be glued to the guild unless I have other specific plans.
‘This is the guild management style I chose, so I have to bear with it.’
Although I set regular meetings once a month, the specific rules are always adjusted flexibly.
If uncontrollable sexual urges like being in heat arise, I might move the meeting date up a few days, accept requests for cosplay involving specific outfits and lines, or generally accommodate requests for peculiar fetishes.
Rules are set, but the guild runs better when they aren’t followed too strictly.
“Th-thank you, Guild Master!”
“…Yes, Miss Mi-hwa. If you have problems again, don’t hesitate, just come straight up to the Guild Master’s office.”
“Yes…!”
After climaxing three times in a row with Do Yehee, I returned to the guild and handled the second meeting of the day. Honestly, these days, my dick rarely gets a moment’s rest.
Now, when I return home, my wives will likely drain me all night. At least in this life, I won’t get to live leisurely.
Still, with no more scheduled meetings, I leaned back in my Guild Master’s chair, thinking I could finally catch my breath, when…
-Knock knock.
“Yes, come in.”
-Creeeak.
“Ah, hello, Sung Taekyung-ssi…”
One of our guild’s aces, from the ‘Destruction Trio’. ‘Blue Bullet’ Min Hyunyoung cautiously opened the door to the Guild Master’s office and entered.
…Her expression awkward, clutching her left shoulder tightly.
