Chapter Index

    Let’s go

    Let’s go

    Let’s go

As we danced, green plants slowly grew from the walls and floor.

As I watched life gradually emerge in the basement, wagging my tail vigorously.

Yuna, who was enthusiastically doing the dance moves, looked at me with sparkling eyes and said.

    “Wow, it’s getting pretty.”

It seemed that even to Yuna, it had become quite nice.

I nodded with a very proud expression.

Even to me, the basement was quite beautiful and impressive…!

While trying to hold back the laughter that kept wanting to come out and following the dance moves as seriously as possible.

Chae-a, seemingly unable to dance anymore, collapses on the floor, panting.

    “Beep!”

The numerous Somis below caught Chae-a perfectly and laughed with beeping sounds.

Seeing this, I smiled along and slowly looked around the basement scenery again.

‘It might be good to expand it a bit more.’

I realized that when the Somis gather in such large numbers, it gets more crowded than expected.

To prepare for this, it seemed better to expand it even more, so I consulted with Han A-rin about it.

Han A-rin nodded as if she understood and slightly widened the area nearby.

“After this, how about creating a completely new room on the side?”

Just as I was nodding, thinking it would be fine.

Han A-rin smiled mischievously and created a huge cavern instead of a room.

    “…?!”

At this point, it felt less like an extension of the basement and more like a vast underground city… no, an underground village?

While I was a bit surprised but still sparkling with excitement because this was also really great.

Han A-rin asked me a question.

“How is it? If you don’t like it, I can make it smaller again.”

If we consider uniformity, it would be right to make the size similar…

But thinking about the romance, the conclusion was that it’s better because it’s bigger(?), so I told Han A-rin it was fine.

‘It would be fun to make an underground city…!’

Of course, it’s too small to make an underground city, but I thought it would be okay if we set it as an underground city for Somis to live in, not for people.

I decided to do so and asked the Somis for their opinion.

    “Beep!” (Amazing!)

    “Beek!” (Great!)

    “Bee!” (Wonderful!)

They all say similar things and start hopping around.

Seeing this, I smiled proudly and decided to create an underground city for the Somis.

    *

Just decorating a room takes a lot of effort, so I couldn’t even imagine how much effort it would take to decorate a city.

I decided to ask for help from my viewers after a long time.

… However, just as I was about to decide it would be better to hold back, hesitating to turn on the stream because it seemed like I only do so when I need help.

“Turn it on no matter what.”

Han A-rin threatened(?) me from behind, holding Somi.

As I felt Somi’s tongue flicking and licking my cheek from behind, I opened my eyes wide.

Han A-rin, seeing me like that, explained the reason.

“Viewers are happy just by Ha-eun turning on the stream, so rather than not turning it on because you feel sorry, wouldn’t it be better to have the mindset of ‘I’ll turn it on because I feel sorry’?”

Certainly, thinking about it from a different perspective as Han A-rin said, that seems right.

Feeling motivated by those words, I turned on the stream after a long time.

    [Seo-rinSeo-rin: First! You’re cute today too, Ha-eun!!]

[GradStudentRecruiting: It’s nice to see you through the stream too.]

    [MingMiMem: Wow, a stream ㅠㅠㅠㅠㅠㅠ]

Why are Seo-rin and Han A-rin joining the stream when they’re right next to me?

Not sure, but I decided to think of it as their way of showing affection and was smiling awkwardly when someone expressed a question.

    [Citrus: Ha-eun, where are you? It’s a place I haven’t seen before.]

At those words, I wagged my tail vigorously and explained about the underground city.

“This is under my lair…! I’m going to build an underground city here!”

[Citrus: You’re building an underground city? That’s amazing ㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋ Let me see, wow, it’s incredible?]

[LoveCatsMeow: Ah ㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋ Ha-eun is cute today too. For an underground city, the golden rule is a waterfall falling from the center.]

[LuckyWaterDeer: An earthen house would be romantic too, or maybe building a splendid city would be nice?]

Many people shared their own opinions.

I was watching each one, thinking it would be interesting, and carefully checking them one by one.

    Someone mentioned one important point.

[Muaaang – For an underground city that large, you might need to get a construction permit.]

Come to think of it, I had forgotten that this kind of thing requires government approval.

As I was wondering how to get permission, Han A-rin, who was next to me, chuckled and answered instead.

“Oh, you can ignore that. It doesn’t really matter for Rare.”

I wanted to ask why it didn’t matter, but I decided to ignore it, feeling like I might hear something dark that I shouldn’t know if I asked.

Anyway, the important thing was creating the underground city, so I asked the viewers for their opinions again.

“We’re making a city, so what should we make first?”

Many people responded to that question.

[Eungeunhideoom – Wouldn’t it be good to lay the foundation first? It might be boring if it’s too flat, so I think it would be good to create some elevation changes.]

[CookieAndCookie – Since the infrastructure can probably be replaced by magic… How about making buildings and such in advance?]

[Meuring – Ah, I want to help with the building haha]

I nodded at those words and decided to start with creating elevation changes, then snuggled into Han A-rin’s arms and expressed my wishes.

    *

Although I called it an underground city, this wasn’t really a full-scale city construction.

It was more like a giant game of house… in other words, just a huge play activity like building a sandcastle on a playground.

So while I was working hard on it, I wasn’t taking it too seriously, but Han A-rin seemed to think otherwise and was putting her heart and soul into everything.

‘How should I put it, it feels like the parents are getting more deeply involved and working harder while the babies don’t think much of it…’

Of course, I’m not a baby so this doesn’t apply to me, but I used this analogy because there was no more fitting comparison.

Anyway! The important thing was that other people were more focused on building the underground city than I thought.

One of them was the Spirit User Uncle.

“Alright, alright, you guys go over there and shape it up a bit. Yes, that’s right, you’re doing well.”

The Spirit User Uncle was using spirits (except for Chae-a) to create the desired buildings.

The level was quite impressive, so whenever I saw it, I couldn’t help but be amazed.

‘And the most unexpected one was Seo-rin.’

Seo-rin seemed to have a talent for decorating things in a cute and delicate way.

She was making the underground city more colorful by adorning the buildings created by the Spirit User Uncle in a charming manner.

    ‘Impressive.’

While I was staring at this blankly, I thought I should do something too, so I was gathering my resolve and pondering what to do.

Suddenly, the Somis scattered around seemed to have thought of something and started gathering towards me.

Wondering why, I looked at them, and they said they wanted to help build this city too.

‘The Somis have similar thoughts to mine.’

Just as I was deciding to work together with the Somis.

I saw Chae-a coming this way, holding Yuna and Seo-a’s hands.

    “We’ll help too!”

    “That’s right.”

    “Myam!”

With those incredibly reassuring words, I nodded with a bright smile and said.

“Then shall we all make it together?”

At the same time, seeing the nodding heads, the four of us and the Somis began working on creating the underground city.

First, Chae-a was buzzing around here and there with the Kkamangis, Ant Oppa, and Earthworm Unni.

There was no reason, she was just buzzing around because it was fun…!

That’s the reality, but since it would sound strange to say it like that, we agreed to say that we were doing inspections, so she was in charge of city inspections.

In Yuna’s case, she went around hugging the Somis tightly and saying ‘You’re doing well’ to boost morale.

    Lastly, in Seo-a’s case…

    “Myamya! Come!”

She was holding onto my tail tightly and following me closely.

I carefully moved my steps so that Seo-a wouldn’t get hurt while telling the Somis what they needed to do.

“I’ll bring things from home later, so help me, okay?”

    “Beep!”

It was about moving furniture and belongings that existed outside.

It was possible because the Somis’ strength was stronger than expected (even more than adults).

While I was commanding numerous Somis and thinking about where to place the furniture, someone called me.

    [Perseus]

Wondering what it was about, I answered the phone with both hands and greeted.

    “Hello.”

I greeted, but there was no response.

As I was wondering why, I belatedly heard Perseus’s coughing voice.

    [… I heard you’re building a city.]

    “Yes!”

I immediately agreed as it was correct.

He smiled slightly and got straight to the reason he called me.

[Then you’ll need something to fill the city with. Have you found anything yet?]

    “I haven’t found everything yet.”

[Then how about using the gifts from the elders?]

At the mention of gifts from the elders, I remembered something I had forgotten.

‘Come to think of it, I left all the gifts from the elders with Perseus.’

It seems he asked me that question to return these to me.

I said it would be good to do so, meaning I agreed, and as soon as Perseus heard this.

    [Then, I’ll come right away.]

He ended the call saying he would come here.

After hearing that, I moved forward, thinking deeply about what the elders had given me.
