– Streamer NiX: The teacher is kind and teaches Camilla well.
– Streamer RiX-yang: The sharp way she points out mistakes is top-notch! It hurt a little at first, but thanks to my teacher, I was able to escape Bronze-Silver-Gold!
…
Hello, this is Kayak.
How was the part above? I tried to make it feel like an academy flyer.
Doesn’t it feel like a truly famous instructor is about to give a lecture?
I worked hard inserting images and putting effort into it, it’s pretty realistic, right?
Yes, that was a long introduction.
As you can tell from the title, this is an announcement to recruit a student.
Lately, Camilla has been appearing in tournaments and has become Tier 1 on reputable sites.
Perhaps because her status is continuously rising, many people have been requesting a coaching stream.
This is a very encouraging development.
So, as per many of your requests, I plan to proceed with a coaching stream.
But, I think it would be better to take on a student and give a lecture rather than just showing my own gameplay.
Many of you may deny it, but most Abyss users are in Bronze-Silver-Gold.
It’s unfortunate, but it seems the viewers in my stream are no different.
Just because the streamer is a Challenger doesn’t mean the viewers are Challengers too, right?
Therefore, I decided I must conduct the coaching tailored to your eye level.
Still, judging from my past experience, it’s a relief that I seem to have a knack for teaching.
Now I just need to find a student to be the case study for the viewers, but I don’t really have anyone in mind to teach.
Therefore, I am recruiting a student.
This is a chance to appear on a stream watched by about 15,000 people and, though it’s embarrassing to say, receive 1-on-1 coaching from streamer Kayak, the number one Camilla player in the entire world.
The qualification is to have an Abyss tier of Bronze, Silver, or Gold.
For now, this is a beginner class, so I won’t be accepting anyone higher.
If this coaching session ends successfully, I am willing to open intermediate and advanced level courses as well.
Please apply only if you are serious about Camilla and want to get good at her.
I will not be teaching any other heroes.
The coaching will be conducted through conversation on Discord, so your microphone condition must be good, and your voice will be broadcast.
Those who wish to receive coaching, please write your Abyss nickname in the comments.
I will select one person through a lottery on tomorrow’s stream.

– So what time are you streaming tomorrow?
ㄴ LMAO, you left out the most important part.
“Good evening.”
“It’s a pleasant evening.”
“Have you all eaten?”
“I was surprised to see the chat moving even when the stream was offline.”
“It’s nice that you’re waiting to watch my stream, but please take it easy.”
[Perhaps this wouldn’t happen if you gave us a heads-up about when you’ll be streaming? ^^]
[You look pretty today too.]
[Back-to-back cam streams, so com-fy.]
[LMAO FR, 2,000 people are sitting here chatting in an offline stream.]
[A crazy b*tch making her viewers wait blindly in the freezing cold,,,]
[Did you see it was snowing outside since last night?]
[This place is great and all, but the wait time is long….]
[You came in after the stream-on notification, but you were waiting beforehand?]
[What strange people.]
[If you come in after the notification, you lose 5 or 10 minutes.]
[You have to come in and watch the moment the stream turns on, yep.]
[I heard you’re picking a disciple today, is that true?]
[What’s the stream title? Camilla Coaching Stream?]
“It seems… some of you have seen the bulletin board and some of you haven’t.”
“Today’s content is a Camilla coaching stream.”
“Yes.”
“Why did you write on the bulletin board and not the gallery? …Why would I post my stream announcements on the gallery?”
[Didn’t even know there was a bulletin board lol]
[Because the gallery is easier to see ㅇㅇ]
[Let’s just make a Streamer Kayak Minor Gallery while we’re at it.]
Around 7 PM, Kayak’s stream had suddenly turned on.
Despite the stream starting without any notice, the viewer count rose rapidly.
To be precise, the majority were viewers who were already in the stream.
In addition to those who were waiting in advance after seeing the previous day’s announcement, there were also people who always had Kayak’s stream on, whether she was live or not.
Complaints poured out, asking why she announced today’s content but not the stream time, and that the bulletin board (a community feature provided by default to streamers on Twish) was inconvenient and they should move elsewhere.
Even amidst all that, Kayak seemed to pay it no mind.
Whether she had no interest in the chat window itself, or she was seeing it but not reacting, she simply moved her mouse with a calm face, engrossed in something.
It was the moment the viewers’ complaints turned into petty whining.
Since the streamer paid no attention and wouldn’t listen to them, it was no different from a small child clinging to an adult and whimpering.
As a result, the complaints that had taken up more than half of the chat window eventually died down.
Kayak had successfully suppressed the rebellion.
Whether this was her intended result, nobody knew.
Click–.
Kayak stopped clicking the mouse and lifted her hand, and the stream screen had already switched.
Instead of her computer desktop that usually appeared when she started a stream, Kayak’s bulletin board began to be broadcast.
The post Kayak had written yesterday.
On that post, there was a notification saying, ‘No more comments can be added,’ and Kayak’s own comment stating that she would only accept applications up to that point and was closing it.
[The bulletin board really is crappy lololol]
[I’m telling you, we need to make a gallery or a cafe.]
[It crashes every time I enter on mobile.]
[Damn, look at the number of comments, why is it so competitive?]
[It’s a chance to get tutored by Kayak (a super beautiful woman), the #1 Camilla user in the world, you’re not gonna apply for this?]
[Putting (a super beautiful woman) in parentheses is kinda cringe.]
[These bastards flame Bronze-Silver-Gold players so much, why are there so many comments? lol]
[Weren’t all of Kayak’s viewers Grandmaster or Challenger?]
[Ah, I couldn’t apply because I’m Platinum;; I ranked up last month.]
[I’m a Master, so I’m planning to apply when the advanced class comes out ㅎㅎ]
[Who asked?]
[ㅇㅇ has donated 1000 won!]
– How are you picking the student for this? There are too many people.
“First, I’m going to conduct the first round of drawing with this.”
What Kayak brought out was something quite familiar to the viewers.
The Number Cannon.
A program that teachers used a lot in schools in the past.
Currently, it was also a program used by many streamers besides Kayak.
There was nothing better for drawing something from a large number of targets.
However, the viewers’ reaction to seeing it was quite fierce.
[Holy sh*t, it’s really just luck lololol]
[I was the 3rd person to comment, aren’t there any perks?]
[Ah, I wrote my comment with so much effort, pressing down hard.]
[Yep, long-winded losers are out even without the cannon~]
[The ‘lottery’ was a real ‘lottery’ you say? Ah lol]
“This is the first round of drawing.”
“I’ll do the first round with this, and then I’ll look up their stats.”
“If they smell like a smurf or if I don’t like them, they’re cut, and I’ll fire the cannon again.”
“Ah, anyone without Camilla in their recent match history is also cut.”
“If Camilla isn’t their most played…? Hmm, it would be best if Camilla was their most played, but they might want to learn even if she isn’t, so maybe I’ll let that slide….”
After pondering for a moment, Kayak said she’d decide after picking and entered the numbers into the cannon.
A total of 682 people had gathered through the comments.
Considering it had only been a day, and not even a full 24 hours, it was a remarkably high number of applicants.
Thump–
Without hesitation, Kayak fired the cannon coolly.
It was a brisk action that didn’t drag on for a moment, and some of the viewers were startled by the immediate sound of the cannon firing and started typing in chat.
Soon, the number written on the fired green cannonball was revealed.
521.
It meant the person who wrote the 521st comment.
[But how do you find this?]
[Do we have to scroll down and count every single comment? I’m gonna puke.]
[If you’re the 521st person, just turn yourself in.]
[I’m the 521st person ㅇㅇ My Abyss nick is ‘Kayak’s-Foot-Wiper’.]
[The hell you are, f*ck lololol]
Scroll.
Having confirmed the number, Kayak started scrolling the mouse wheel without a single word.
It seemed she was really going to check the 521st comment.
However, her speed was so fast that even the viewers watching the stream expressed their doubts.
It was impossible to tell whether she was just scrolling down or counting as she scrolled.
She continued scrolling down like that for a while.
Finally, Kayak’s mouse cursor came to a stop.
“I’m desperate, please pick me.”
“My Abyss nickname is ‘SuperCutieCamilla.’ Camilla is my most played.”
“My tier is Bronze, but I’m serious about Abyss. I want to get good at Camilla….”
“I see.”
“For now, I like the nickname.”
Moving her mouse cursor around and reading the comment, Kayak left a short remark about the nickname before switching the screen again.
And what appeared was a famous stats search website.
The viewers who saw it realized it instinctively.
This was the second verification step.
She would probably search the nickname here and check the match history and most played heroes.
[Let’s start the autopsy~]
[SuperCutieCamilla <<< The nickname sucks.]
[FR, Camilla is more sexy than cute.]
[Why? Camilla is cute.]
[Pleasefailpleasefailpleasefailpleasefail]
Kayak’s stream, now being watched by over 10,000 people.
In the midst of it all, Kayak entered the nickname to check if the winner was suitable.
The profile of the owner of the 521st comment, the applicant, was revealed.
