    Chapter 106: Pounce

It had been a while since my last stream, so I thought about doing something special, but that required preparation.

As a stream squeezed in from my busy life, I wasn’t prepared at all.

    But that’s okay.

Even if I’m not prepared, my viewers are.

Thinking of just casually playing a game, I went to the game recommendation board on my fan cafe.

    [Are you not doing EoW?]
    [Challenge Rank 1 run ㄱㄱ?]
    [Cut off the EoW parrots!]

    “Not really feeling it today.”

My channel’s core viewers, the EoW users, are constantly being joined by new EoW players thanks to my commentary.

The play of a beautiful Challenger Rank 15 player, practically an esports announcer.

Most of the new viewers have only seen my gameplay through YouTube videos and clips.

I could feel their desire to see me play live, but still, not today.

I’ve been casting EoW for days, and now I’m just tired of it.

They say that watching high-level players’ matches stimulates your hidden gamer instincts and makes you want to play the game more.

That didn’t apply to me. Maybe it’s because I’m just better.

Anyway, EoW is automatically eliminated from today’s games.

I selected the three most recommended games from the fan cafe and fairly spun a roulette.

“This is what it lands on.”

The game chosen by the roulette was one I knew.

I hadn’t played it myself, but I’d seen people playing it on the Switch a few times.

Escape, a game with the literal meaning of escaping, is a survival game where you escape.

Escape from what? You have to escape from a killer.

If you wake up in an unfamiliar place and escape without being caught by the killer, the escapee wins.

If the killer re-captures the escapee or kills them to prevent them from escaping, the killer wins. It’s a relatively simple game.

    [ㅋㅋ Already sensing fun]
[I was so scared something else would be chosen]
[Why is “Surviving as a Jurassic Dinosaur” so highly recommended?]
[I think they recommended it out of pity because it’s a persistent request ㅋㅋ]
[At this point, you should just do it once]
[You barely stream these days, so each game is precious, you idiot]
    [Phew]
[It’s a game that suits Mollru]
    [Really Perfect for the streamer]

When viewers say it’s a game that suits me, do they mean I’m fit to be an escapee or a killer?

Players can choose to be either the survivor or the killer before the game starts.

So if you ask me which I prefer, well…

    I’m confident in both.

“Knocking down the plank here… doing a little zig-zag. Looks like it’ll be hard to save the person. They got caught too quickly.”

I clicked my tongue, looking at the comrade’s prison after they tried to escape with me but got caught again.

I even drew some aggro, but it ended up with them getting caught.

    They should’ve escaped better.

[This person is just good at games]
    [Really Gaming genius lol]
[They said it’s their first time They said it’s their first time They said it’s their first time They said it’s their first time]
    [Oh~ Toto is so delicious]
[Are the underdogs awake? Are the underdogs awake? Are the underdogs awake?]
[Betting on a lossㅋㅋㅋ Do you think Mollru is easy? Do you think Mollru’s hands, eyes, brain, face, and chest are a joke?]
    [Why the chest?]
[Chest is included in physical ability ㅇㅇ]
    [I’m not even surprised anymore]
[My 1 million points… my memories… my memories with Mollru…]

There was a feature called Toto.

Like sports betting, it’s a game where you bet on a specific topic with at least two options and determine the winner.

Of course, it’s not real money. The only thing to bet on in my stream is the channel points that accumulate as you watch.

They kept saying Toto, Toto, so I opened it up once, and they’re having fun on their own.

It’s kind of cute in a way. I don’t know why they like it so much when the channel points are meaningless.

In other streams, the streamers do special events for 1 million or 10 million points, so should I prepare something like that?

    “Ah.”

I was distracted for a moment and my hand slipped.

I was supposed to press ←, but I accidentally pressed →.

    Crack-

My character’s head exploded after being hit by the killer’s blind hammer.

Ooh… this might be a bit brutal. Is it okay to stream this?

[It’s rated 18+, so the production is intense]
    [Kyaaaa!]
[What is this all of a sudden]
    [My points are damned]
[What is this, a prank? Don’t rig it]
[Are the favorites awake? Are the favorites awake? Are the favorites awake?]
[ㅋㅋ If you win this round, it’ll be 6 wins in a row, so it’s time to lose once]
    [Even monkeys fall from trees]
[Are you saying the streamer is a monkey?]
    [We’re both primates ㅇㅇ]
    [This is crazy]
    [Please settle up quickly ^^]

I’m the last survivor on the team.

With my death, the game naturally ended in defeat, and the channel points went to those who bet on the loss.

    “I’ll settle up, just a moment…”

97% of the people bet on the win. Only 3% bet on the loss.

What’s the payout ratio? I remembered what my Toto-obsessed friend said, “Life is one big gamble.”

That bastard borrowed money from me and never paid it back. He said he’d pay it back if he won, but he ignored my calls and disappeared.

    “Public matches are getting boring.”

I’ve mastered the controls and techniques of both the escapee and the killer, so I wanted a more advanced experience.

In fact, these mafia-like, 1-to-many survival games are much more fun to play with people you know.

I’ve roughly shed my noob status, so I want to play with someone.

    “Is anyone playing Escape?”

As soon as I said that, viewers started digging up information like cuckoos.

    [Ryua is doing content]
[Tex is doing EoW placement matches]
[Daesik is having a collab with the Flare crew]
[? When did Daesik get close to Flare?]
[I think they got close after Mollru invited them to Minecraft?]
[Mollru is just a stepping stone for Daesik…]
    [Did the streamer get used?]
    [Gasp]
[Mollru the used woman… this is rare]
[She looks like a Gangnam mom]
[What do you mean used woman…..  Don’t be ridiculous]
[Why are you so angry hoxy…?]
    [??? : Don’t get married, don’t get married]
[The streamer is a bit overwhelming, she’s too pretty and perfect]
[Sua is on break, Papi is on break, Cheolwoo is outside]
[Looks like there’s no one to play with?]

Unfortunately, most of the streamers I’m close to didn’t have any openings.

    Such diligent people.

In fact, most collabs are planned in advance. There are some that are spontaneous, but even those are business deals.

    “No one?”

The conclusion was that there was no one to play the game with right now.

I didn’t feel like solo queuing, so I was thinking of ending the game and playing something else or just chatting.

    [Viewer participation ㄱ?]
    [Oh, viewer participation]
[50,000 viewer participation ㅋㅋㅋㅋ Insane competition]
    [50000 : 4 competition ratio ㄷㄷ]

Viewer participation. That meant doing a broadcast where viewers participate.

I’d pick someone from the viewers to play Escape with me on the spot.

Escape has 1 killer and 4-5 survivors.

    50000 : 4 isn’t as cool as 50000 : 5, so I decided to pick 5 people.

The more survivors there are, the lower the killer’s chances of winning, but that’s a problem that can be solved if I’m the killer.

“Let’s do viewer participation then. I’ll be the killer and pick 5 people to be survivors.”

    [ㄷㄷ Mollru the killer enters]
    [Can’t stop this…]
[Only old timers should apply if you want it to be fun ㅋㅋㅋㅋ Use your head]
    [Daesik’sSuspiciousClub <<<< Please invite]
    [EsAckape <<< Invite]
    [Inviting is informal]

“It won’t be fun if it’s too easy. I’m going to adjust the tiers and pick high-ranking people… how high should I pick?”

People roughly estimated my rank after watching my play earlier.

They were talking about Eternity, DemiGod, Immortal, and Radiant.

Combining their opinions, my tier was about 4th from the top. In EoW terms, I was evaluated as Diamond tier.

Considering it was my first time, this was a very good rating, but whether it was arrogance or confidence, I nominated people higher than me as my opponents.

It seemed like it would be more fun that way.

“Only people who are in the top 3 tiers, roughly Master or higher, please apply. I’ll check your records and cut you if you’re Diamond level.”

Perhaps because there were so many viewers, the top-ranked users, who were said to be few in number, began to reveal their nicknames one by one.

Among the top-ranked users who applied, I once again used the roulette to select the people who would play with me.

An Escape viewer participation broadcast that wasn’t planned began.
