Chapter 0: Prologue
by AfuhfuihgsPrologue
The rain stopped, and a sky without a single cloud unfolded.
The sunlight shone intensely, and the green leaves of the forest reflected light, holding dewdrops.
Like a mystical place where deities reside—this forest was breathtakingly beautiful.
However, the scent that filled this beautiful landscape was not the fragrance of flowers.
It was a fishy smell.
The thick, spreading scent of blood.
“Sh*t.”
A rough curse cut through the air.
There, a middle-aged man stood covered in blood.
Looking at his splendid uniform with golden embroidery, even just by his dignified attire, one could tell he was a noble, at least a count or higher.
His breathing was ragged, and the tips of his fingers were trembling slightly.
Excessive bleeding.
No matter how one looked at it, he was about to die.
I was silently watching all of this unfold.
It was written like an omniscient author’s point of view, but in fact, I was merely an ‘observer.’
I had just been reincarnated here.
I don’t remember my name from my past life.
I only remember the existence of my past life.
Nevertheless, I was overly calm.
Half of this world was familiar to me.
And so was the fate of that man.
‘He will die here from excessive bleeding.’
The reason is simple.
This scene was exactly the same as the prologue of Part 2 of the insane novel I was reading, 『A Harem Blooming in the Chaos of the Academy』.
This novel had a unique worldview that combined dark fantasy, harem, and romance fantasy.
It gained tremendous popularity with readers, and Part 2 was scheduled to come out after Part 1 ended, but—before that Part 2 was even released, I had been reincarnated into this world.
The beginning of Part 2 was simple.
The headmaster, who was stopping the monsters rushing towards the academy, was seriously injured and died.
And immediately after that, a political fight among the teachers began over the headmaster’s position.
‘And that political fight was… very dirty and complicated.’
I chuckled and muttered to myself.
It seems like my tone has become a bit more refined…
Anyway, the conclusion was one.
‘I hate using my brain.’
Therefore, I will eliminate the political fight itself.
“…Who are you?”
A voice filled with nobility and wariness, characteristic of aristocrats.
Barely supporting his body, which was covered in blood and about to collapse, the man looked at me.
The academy is a place where royalty and all sorts of nobles enroll.
In order to establish rules and exert power in such a school, the headmaster is appointed as a member of the imperial family and also holds the title of duke.
‘It would be troublesome if the students didn’t listen.’
Perhaps that’s why the headmaster has to be made such a powerful figure.
But what’s important to me right now is not his social status, but how to save him.
I lightly raised the corner of my mouth.
Though it wouldn’t be visible since I was wearing a mask.
“Greetings.”
“I am a doctor.”
At that one word, the duke’s eyes wavered.
I looked into his eyes with a relaxed attitude, and slowly added.
“I will heal you.”
