Ch.BONUSEpilogue: The Case of Olivia and Charlotte
by fnovelpia
Charlotte’s body trembled violently. Her lips pressed tightly together, and her fingernails dug into her palms, drawing blood from her clenched fists. Her eyes were fiercely wide open.
It was a situation where chaos could erupt at any moment, yet the other two people watching her remained completely composed.
Everyone except Charlotte.
Grinding her teeth and glaring at Olivia with murderous intent, Charlotte finally seemed to make up her mind, forcibly opening her lips and slowly moving her tongue.
“Uh…”
But despite her lips constantly moving, no proper words came out.
Seeing this, a beaming smile bloomed on Olivia’s face—clearly a mocking one.
Charlotte noticed the mockery in Olivia’s smile, and her face contorted even more. Perhaps it was fortunate that it hadn’t escalated to physical action yet.
“…”
Finally, after trembling for quite some time, Charlotte mumbled something while moving her lips, but the sound was so faint that no one could properly hear it.
Even then, it was only barely audible because two of the three people present were beings who had transcended humanity. If that weren’t the case, it would have been unclear whether she had said anything at all.
The proof was that Abel was still just staring at Charlotte. If he had heard what Charlotte had uttered, he definitely wouldn’t have shown such a reaction.
Olivia urged Charlotte with a face full of laughter.
“Come on, how can anyone hear you when you speak so quietly? You need to speak louder. Much louder would be better.”
After hearing the mocking encouragement, Charlotte bit her lip again. The bitten area immediately tore and bled. A green light enveloped her lips, and the torn area healed.
After several minutes of tearing her lips and grinding her molars, Charlotte finally seemed to have steeled her resolve and slowly opened her mouth with a dying voice.
“…Sister Olivia.”
“Kyahahahahahaha!”
At those words, spat out reluctantly, Olivia burst into raucous laughter.
“…Was that too much to ask?”
I thought this while stroking Charlotte’s head as she clung to me, burying her face in my chest and grinding her teeth. I thought she’d be somewhat okay by now.
Olivia was still clutching her stomach, cackling and rolling on the floor. Her laughter was so intense that it was no longer just giggling but more like choking sounds.
Charlotte said nothing. She didn’t try to kill Olivia either. She just tightened her arms around me a bit more.
It had been over 50 years since I married my wives.
During that time, we truly lived a life worthy of the term “newlyweds.” According to my wives, we should live this lovey-dovey life for at least a thousand years.
Being newlyweds didn’t mean there were grand changes. It just meant that physical affection with me became much more frequent and expressions of love became much more natural.
“Wait, isn’t that a grand change?”
Come to think of it, it was a world-changing transformation.
Olivia and Charlotte had always been clingy by nature, so they were exceptions, but even Christine and Serena naturally shared their love with me, showing subtle signs of barely contained joy.
This would have been unimaginable in the past—Christine who once died of a heart attack and came back to life after receiving a gift from me, or Serena who struggled with severe internal conflict between her loyalty and instincts.
“Ack, hehehe… This is bad, Abel. My stomach hurts so much but I can’t stop laughing. Heek, hoo. It feels exactly like when Abel ravages my womb.”
Olivia, who had been rolling on the floor laughing, reached out toward me while gasping for breath. Tears welled up in both her eyes.
“Do you have to make that kind of comparison, Olivia? And stop laughing already. Charlotte is still like this because of you.”
“Kup, but it’s so funny, how can I—”
She burst into laughter again, mixed with sobs. I sighed at the sight. Perhaps I should be satisfied that they weren’t fighting despite all this.
If this had been Charlotte before marrying me, she wouldn’t have buried her face in my chest to swallow her shame—she would have tried to eliminate the cause.
Over the past 50 years, my wives had never fought with each other, despite occasional differences of opinion. This was true whether I was present or not. It was a remarkably touching development.
Of course, rather than development, they were probably just keeping the vows they made when we married, but I wasn’t the type to nitpick such trivial matters.
By the way, the black rose rings I gave them at our wedding had completely fused with my wives’ fingers.
Olivia and Charlotte had magically integrated the rings with their fingers, and Christine had done the same. According to them, they had caused a “reality manipulation.”
I thought Serena was just wearing hers normally since she couldn’t use magic, but when I heard she had “sliced away the possibility and concept of the ring falling off her finger,” I just accepted it.
I’d come too far to be surprised by such things.
“Ugh, hic, hiccup…”
After some time, the laughter finally subsided. Olivia leaned back against the sofa, breathing heavily. The large mound under her nightgown rose and fell.
“Wow… If I were an ordinary human, I definitely would have died laughing with a pulled stomach. It would probably have been the most shameful death in the kingdom’s history. It wouldn’t have been strange to be preserved in history books, right?”
“How long are you going to keep this up?”
“For life, of course. Abel, you just heard it too. She called me ‘sister.’ Sister Olivia. Yes, my little sister Charlotte! Your big sister Olivia is right here!”
“Shut that mouth!”
Charlotte raised her face to shout before burying it in my chest again.
Although it had resulted in this situation, Charlotte had faithfully followed my words, so comforting her was entirely my responsibility.
I patted her back and supported her bottom with my hand. Charlotte subtly shifted her weight onto my supporting hand. Even so, she was as light as a feather.
“That’s enough, Olivia. Do you really need to force yourself to laugh like that?”
“What? I’m not forcing myself to laugh, Abel. Did you really think that?”
“Olivia.”
“Yes, yes. I got it, I got it. I’ll stop now.”
When I put on a serious expression, Olivia abruptly stopped laughing. It was hard to believe she had been gasping for breath just moments ago, worried that laughter might erupt again at any moment.
Why I specifically chose the term “sister,” and why I tried it first with Charlotte and Olivia—the reason was simple. Excluding me, these two were the eldest.
There was a gap between Olivia and Charlotte too vast to be described by the word “sister,” but “sister” was still better than other terms for addressing an elder.
And if we were going to consider age, we’d have to start by changing how they addressed me.
“…Was the time insufficient?”
Perhaps it was unreasonable to expect their relationship to improve in just 50 years. As my wives said, they’d be newlyweds for a thousand years, so I should probably look beyond that.
No, 50 years isn’t “just” 50 years.
I felt uneasy. I wondered if it was because the concept of time itself had become meaningless, or if I was questioning myself for calling 50 years “just.” Well, compared to my age, I suppose it was appropriate.
The same applied to my wives. Though they all maintained appearances of late teens to early twenties, even Serena, the youngest, was over 70 in actual age.
The other three didn’t even need mentioning.
While I was seriously contemplating the concept of time, Olivia slowly approached my side and nudged Charlotte with her toes.
“Hey, isn’t it about time you got down? I stopped laughing, didn’t I? Shouldn’t you show some sportsmanship too?”
“Wait, Olivia. Charlotte is still—”
“What do you mean ‘still,’ Abel? She’s been fine from the beginning. She’s just pretending so she can stay in your arms.”
“What?”
“Oh my, I’ve been found out.”
Before I could react to those words, Charlotte, who had been clinging to me with her head buried in my chest, detached herself. Dumbfounded, I looked down at Charlotte.
Her pathologically pale face and crimson eyes showed no trace of the shame that had been there before.
Charlotte nonchalantly used teleportation magic to sit on the sofa right next to me. Not to be outdone, Olivia quickly clung to my other arm.
“See?”
Olivia puffed out her chest with a triumphant expression.
I was still in shock. What was going on? I looked back and forth between Charlotte and Olivia. Charlotte had her arms crossed with a relaxed expression, while Olivia looked triumphant.
“You look like you don’t understand at all, my dear.”
“…What’s going on?”
That was all I could squeeze out. Charlotte began explaining as if it were nothing.
“How could a wife refuse her husband’s command? If it were your order, I would gladly call that woman not just sister but even master. However, since you seemed to have not yet fully grasped your wife’s nature, I merely played a small prank. That’s all.”
A smile appeared on her pale face.
“Since only 50 years have passed since we made our eternal vows—a very short time to get to know each other—I did not reproach you.”
After finishing her words, Charlotte took my hand and brought it to her chin, rubbing it against her cheek and jaw. Her eyes narrowed.
Olivia also took my remaining arm and hugged it tightly. Setting aside the softness I felt from my hand and arm, I processed what Charlotte had said.
So, from the beginning, she had no particular aversion to calling Olivia “sister,” and she had used it as an excuse to cling to me and be petted—was that it?
“…”
“Kyaak?!”
“Hooh?”
When I silently embraced both Olivia and Charlotte and lifted them up, Olivia let out a startled scream. In contrast, Charlotte merely chuckled briefly.
I walked slowly while holding them both. Hot gazes filled with a mixture of anticipation and expectation poured down on me from both sides.
My steps soon stopped. I stood in front of the bed and gently tossed Olivia and Charlotte onto it. They landed with short screams.
As if they already knew what was about to happen to them, their eyes directed at me were already gradually filling with ecstasy and pleasure. They looked utterly shameless.
“You’re right, Charlotte. I still seem to lack information about my wives.”
I drew a magic circle in my hand. Mana blazed brightly and flew straight toward their lower abdomens. Charlotte and Olivia, receiving the blazing mana directly, simultaneously flinched.
A pink glowing tattoo was engraved on their lower abdomens—a tattoo with contraceptive and sexual stimulation effects that I had used thousands of times before. The so-called womb tattoo.
“For instance, details like where my wives’ erogenous zones are.”
Just from hearing those words, the area between Charlotte’s and Olivia’s legs became visibly wet even through their clothes. Evidence that their bodies remembered the pleasure.
I climbed onto the bed. Where the black eyes and red eyes were fixed was obvious. The scent of females was already overflowing, deeply penetrating my nostrils.
“You’ll tell me, won’t you?”
Both of them shyly nodded.
