Hello. This is Snack-like, the author of ‘I Became a Wendigo in a Fantasy World.’

Hmm… I decided I should write an afterword, but I’m not sure how to approach it. So I’ll just write what I want to say for now.

First, I’d like to thank everyone who stayed with me through all 198 chapters, and those who are still reading. Without your interest, I wouldn’t have made it this far.

I imagine quite a few of you are thinking, “Is it ending already?” Honestly, this was something I struggled with as well.

The thought kept circling in my mind that I could continue the story if I wanted to…

Nevertheless, I decided to conclude it because I wanted to write something better. To be honest, from around chapter 100, my dissatisfaction had been growing.

I felt that if I continued this way, I would end up with something terrible under the weight of my own regrets, so I ultimately decided to end it.

Still, I learned quite a bit while writing this story, and I enjoyed it considerably. The shortcomings I felt while writing this will hopefully help me with my next work.

Ah, and for those expecting side stories… I’m afraid I can’t give you a definite answer.

Right now, I want to try writing wuxia or xianxia, and later I’d like to try fantasy westerns or science fiction…

With so many things I want to write, I’m not sure if I’ll have time for side stories.

I’ll likely start a new work within a week. Though personal circumstances might delay that a bit.

With this rambling afterword, I’ll take my leave.
