Ch.BONUSAfterword + Small Celebration

Hello. This is Naso, the author of “I Became a Villain in a Light Novel.”

It feels like just yesterday that I uploaded the first chapter, but somehow I’ve been serializing this work for nearly a year, and now we’ve reached the conclusion.

Conclusion. I thought it would simply be adding the Chinese character [完] at the end of the manuscript, but now that I’ve actually done it, I’m not sure why I feel so strange.

Perhaps it’s because I became quite attached to it while writing, and I never expected to continue it for such a long time?

To be honest, I was surprised myself while writing it. First of all, I never knew I could write a single work for this long. After writing the final chapter, 385, I looked back at everything I’d written so far, and the folder containing this novel’s manuscript was about 1 GB in size.

Yes, the weight of a novel I’ve been consistently writing for a year is exactly 1 GB. Don’t you think that’s a curiously odd coincidence?

    Or maybe not.

Anyway, I had a lot to say before writing this afterword, but now that it’s time to write, I’m not sure what to say or how to say it. So I’ll just briefly say what I want to say, express my gratitude, and conclude.

To everyone who has read this story even once, to those who read it all the way through, to those who created fan art, and to those who drew wonderful covers—thank you all.

I think it was because of the small attention you all gave me that I was able to successfully complete this work. (_ _)

This was drawn by author D.kefo. Thank you.

This was drawn by Maid-nim. It was a lovely drawing that seemed to capture all our memories together. Thank you.

    It’s April.

Spring is already here, and it’s gotten quite warm.

As I feel the warmth of the season with my whole body, I suddenly think that it’s time for a new, heartwarming story.

(This means I’m writing a new work)

You must all be tired from reading novels late into the night, so please take care of your eye health.

    Sincerely,

    Naso
