# Afterword – Adventure to an Alien Planet

If you were to ask me, Michuri, what book I’ve loved since long ago…

I would say without hesitation that it’s “The Little Prince”…!!!

I can’t quite understand why I liked it so much now that I’ve grown older… but… I think it might be because the boa constrictor that swallowed an elephant left such a strong impression on me…

This work, “I Became the Hidden Villain,” is in my opinion a story that feels like “The Little Prince” to me…!!!

Of course, readers might wonder what I mean by that… but I have somewhat reasonable grounds for saying so…!!!

First of all, in my heart, baobab trees have always sprouted like seedlings, just as on the Little Prince’s planet…

These baobab trees in my heart… if not uprooted when they’re just sprouts, they would literally split my heart apart…!!! So I had to weed them out every day before they grew too large…

And the name of that tree was… “the desire to write horror stories”…!!!

I, Michuri… have been unable to resist watching horror movies since I was young…!!!

Even now, I enjoy scary things so much that I go to theaters to watch low-budget horror films… I don’t know why I like scary things so much…

But if you like scary things, it’s only natural to evolve toward wanting to write scary stories yourself…!!!

In that sense, I’ve always had the desire in my heart to someday write a frightening story with ghosts…!!!

And so, I, Michuri, finally embarked on the journey of writing a scary novel…!!!

It was just like… the adventure of the Little Prince who wanted to travel to distant planets to meet different people and gain various experiences…!!!

The prince meets the lamplighter, the fox, and the snake, and eventually returns to his own planet…!!!

And I too, after various journeys, feel like I’ve reached a conclusion and returned to my own planet…

What I realized while writing a novel with scary stories… is that it’s more difficult than I thought…!!!

And I wondered if it was okay to keep bombarding readers with the stress of horror for over 100 or 200 episodes…!!! Also, it turned out to be a difficult subject for a long-running series…!!!

I express my utmost respect to all writers who create works through scary stories…!!!

For many reasons, it was an unfamiliar challenge…!!! There were many concerns, and because of that, there might have been many awkward points, but I hope my struggles provided enjoyable times for the readers…!!!

In any case, I, Michuri, have now completed another story…!!!

And in that sense, I cannot help but talk about my new work…!!!

I’ve thought about many ideas for new stories… but right now I’m contemplating which story would be most entertaining for readers…!!!

An entertaining story is… literally an entertaining story…!!!

If I start serializing a new work… it will likely be narrowed down from about three candidates…!!!

To briefly explain, the first is a summoning story about breaking through a labyrinth…!!! A strange and curious tale featuring beautiful and cute summons with a peculiar protagonist…!!!

In some ways… it has a rather orthodox feel to it…!!!

The second is a genre-confusion story that I’ve been keeping an eye on lately…!!! Something like “I Became a Tyrant After 5 Years, But It Was Actually a Healing Story!?”…!!!

And the third… I’ll omit it as it might be more interesting not to reveal it…!!!

In any case, I, Michuri, hope to greet readers with a new work at an appropriate time…!!!

I can’t tell you exactly when that date will be… it might take a little time… because for the time being, I, Michuri, want to focus on recovering my personal condition…!!!

Now that I’m mentioning it… I, Michuri… my health has deteriorated quite a bit from last year to this year, and I’ve been taking medication for several months…

With the belief that interesting stories come from a healthy body… managing one’s physical strength to write interesting stories… I think that’s the attitude of an excellent writer…!!!

In that sense, I hope readers will always pay attention to your health and live long without problems…!!!

Nevertheless, I, Michuri, hereby declare that I will return to readers as soon as possible…!!!

As a final aside, my favorite story is the Native American rain dance…!!!

The Native American rain dance has never failed… because they continue the rain dance until it rains…!!!

I too am performing all sorts of rain dances for an interesting work…!!!

Hoping this story serves as good nourishment, I will strive to show readers a more interesting story in my next work through intense effort and refinement…!!!

I, Michuri… even when things didn’t go as planned, when I failed, felt sad, or had regrets… I didn’t give up and won’t in the future either…!!!

So I hope that readers too won’t give up moving forward even when you fall down or feel hurt…!!!

In life, there are uphill roads, downhill roads, high walls, and treacherous valleys… but when you look back, they all become one magnificent landscape painting…!!!

So until the day when everything becomes a wonderful picture, let’s walk together with me, Michuri, fighting on…!!!
