Ch.BONUSAfterword

    Hello everyone!

I’m author Byeong-irang who wrote “How to Turn a Villain into a Hero”! (wink)

This is my sixth time writing an afterword, but I still don’t seem to get used to it.

It feels somewhat bittersweet. Perhaps because I spent such a long time writing this work, it leaves me with a stronger lingering feeling.

First of all, the origin of this work came from the idea of writing about a teacher who rehabilitates troubled students.

I was confident that with unique yet familiar characters, I could write something entertaining in my own way.

However, contrary to my expectations, while writing this work, there were some strange or impulsive parts, and I think there were settings that readers disliked.

Especially the middle school syndrome (chuunibyou)…

I included it as a humor and comedy point, but I never expected it would backfire.

I think this work leaves me with many regrets as I can still see many shortcomings.

But since it’s something I created, I can’t help but love it anyway.

Honestly, while writing this work, I considered going on hiatus, and I also wondered if I should cut all the event scenes and just head straight toward the conclusion.

The biggest reason was, of course, the issue of income.

Although I wavered somewhat, I think I was able to persevere to the end thanks to the readers who continued reading my work until the very end.

I believed that not betraying my readers was a natural duty and obligation as an author. I think that’s why I decided to see it through to the end.

I’ll end this note with my sincere gratitude to all the readers who have been the driving force behind my writing.

Ah! Lastly, let me just promote my new work…!

I’m currently writing a new work. The title is—

“I Just Told Them the Quest Details”

I hope the readers who followed this work to the end will enjoy my new one as well.

Thank you sincerely for reading “How to Turn a Villain into a Hero” until the very end.
